in this past week I have defoliated the plants about 40% I have lost some leaves which have turned yellow I think the plants lack nitrogen due to the stretch the buds started to smell good. for nitrogen I add coffee grounds to keep away the pests and it is rich in nitrogen. the hardest part is fighting the humidity it’s been raining for a week 😭 humidity is the worst enemy I much prefer heat. see you soon

Welcome to my Seedsmam Tiny/rare contest Diary. VD9-12 Again with this strain. Picked up something in her infancy. She either got a disease. That I can't put my finger on. But, defo too early to be anything other than what it is. A disease.. I used 6% H202 last week when this started to show.. seems to have helped. Decent growth this week. (Made up a 50ml solution..1/5 ratios h202/water) Will be keeping a close eye on this one. Hoping she'll pull through. Not giving up on her as of yet. Her growth is ok. And there is enough to push her through to get some decent growth to push her into full veg. Stem is still very thin.. and a lot longer than I'd like at this stage of growth. Thanks for dropping by. I used the glass of water technique, soaked it for 18 hours then transferred it to moist paper towel (paper towel method) put it on a plate and placed it on a dark and warm area and spray water once the paper towel goes dry. 2-3 days until the seed crack and reveals its tail then i planted it on my medium.

Day 60 since seed touched soil. AK is going great ! Watered girls yesterday. Thinking to do heavy bottom clearing today. Dropped idea of third scrog level. Girls are secured enough and i dont want to loose access totally. Running out of height ... Distance to light- around 15 cm. Mars TSL2000 works just fine, with open window i keep day temps in 22-24 range. Took down all LST, cleared bottoms. Day 62. They run !!!! Already panicking and contemplating idea of taking carbon filter out of the tent. Have 25-30 cm left, space to light like 10 cm ;)))) Tops next to walls starting to drift behind, obviously not right coverage aka distance to light too small, not using all footprint wise ... 19.1. - Plants are entering their first week of flowering as the bud sites are clearly visible and pistils are shooting up! 21.1. - Watered 💧 24.1. - Watered 💧 25.1. - Wrap-up of the week: Plants went through another successful week. Lots of bud sites are visible and already developing. I've also spot some first sugar. However, I've also managed to snap the main stem on the Gelato plant, not completely. I've fixed it back, so we'll see but I must have som bad luck as this was second time during this run 🙄 19.1. - 25.1.2024

11.8 - D50/F2 - Things with these two are swell. The massive leaf duo are on 12/12 now and separated into different tents on 11.8. I kept the smaller of the two in the 5x4 with ten other 5 gallon plants. Hoping this doesn’t lead to too much crowding, but have started to set 14” support rings to help with training. The larger one is in the 3x3 with four 3 gallon plants, including two autos that should finish well before the 9lb becomes unmanageable I mulched with Organic Maine Enriched Mulch so hopefully lose less water to evaporation, then dosed with a new product by NLS as an amendment to boost flowering. The ingredient list on this pack is amaze and you can’t even begin to imagine how it smells haha. As I’ve said before, their products “stank so good”. 11.10 - D52/F4 - All defoliated and stretching!

One plant seems to be much stronger than the other two although watering and nutrients have been the same. My larger plant seems to be clawing at the tips and I’m not sure what’s causing it. High nitrogen possibly? The last watering was yesterday and I didn’t use any nutrients.

These are between days 35 and 36. Really starting to see the buds come to fruition. Mainly just getting the bud sites clean from the bigger fan leaves. Man is there a lot of bud sites! I noticed they were getting nutrient toxicity so I'm only giving water until they tell me to give them something else. For this being my first grow I'm slowly starting to get to feel of it.

Transplanted everything a few days after the last diary into 5 gallon air pots. Started a cover crop and added some mulch after everything sprouted. Began training week 4. I’m intending on keeping 4 max inside the tent. Will be Peanut butter breath, Dragons Blood Hashplant, Afghani, and Velvet Krush. Other 4 x2 pbb 1xDBHP and one unknown bag seed will be going outdoors soon.

3rd December 5 days later and the Candy Rain looks really healthy! Looking forward to increase the EC from 2.40 to 2.5-2.6 in the next few days… From my experience this strain can’t take that much nutrients and is easily over-fertilized…so I will carefully increase the nutrients and see how the plant will react.
