FBA2502 Week 4 April 20-26 Veg 4 Highlights of this week: I defoliated the large fan leaves from the main stems. After defoliating, I saw that plant #3 has a short, tight node structure like plant #1, so I pinned her down before she goes into flowering. Plants 2, 4, 5, and 6 are taller than plants 1 and 3. The larger plants 2, 4, 5, 6 show pre flowers with thinner new growth and hairs at the nodes. The leaves are wide and thick. Some have a slight blue tinge. This makes me think I’m over feeding. Apparently, the blended soil has enough nutrients for the autos, so I don’t need to feed right now. At the end of the week, I watered with ph 6.5 water with cal mag and recharge. Lights are 20” from tops of tall plants and 30 from 1& 3. My general thought for the future grows is to wait until the plant is bigger and see its structure before starting training. #1 has many branches coming into the middle. By beginning with pinning and keeping it at the ground, she will not achieve the stretch around the pot. I pinned #3 to push out the bud sites from being up against the main stem. It is easier to LST when there is more space between the nodes, so a bit of growth or stretch is required. Training to open the top is needed when the plant is short and tight. La planta en si es resistente pero es el grosor de sus flores, lo denso de las colas lo que te obliga a tener muy controlada la humedad en etapas avanzadas, creo que es más para tirarla programando la flora para el verano

Lst went well. She was all in the hips and limboed with ease. Gave her a top feeding of ecothrive charge for the intense training in the next few weeks. She bounced back from lst the next day and I topped her for the first time on the 5th node. It was a bit daunting as this is my first time topping. Looking forward to the next few weeks with all the girls. Seeing them grow into thick lush women. I am considering scrogging all these girls. It will be my first time doing this so any advice would be really appreciated. Also I will be super cropping them as I have never done that either. You can’t really do many things with autos, apart from watch them and lst. Photos are way more forgiving and I think I will be doing this type of growing from now on.

Hey growmies, Growth has been okay, however the growth is all variegated and funky looking. My environment has been spot on and the only nutrients this girl is getting is calmag, so I am left to assume this weird growth is a result of being snapped in half. Every node looks better than the last, i feel like she'll grow out of it. I just hope she doesn't enter flower right away as a result of the stress. I'm experimenting with a camera in there, see if it can provide me with consistent timelapse footage, if this week's timelapse is a bit weird, that's the reason. If you are wondering what the Hypochlorous acid in the nutrient list is, I'm using Calcium hypochlorite to combat pythium growth in my growbucket, as well as providing free chlorine for the plant to uptake. Such a great week! One of the best weeks is seeing the colas start to develop. Makes me happy to be a grower!! This week I was playing around a little with my temps/humidity, trying to get a better understanding of VPD. I'm sure most growers on here have or are currently battling Rh fluctuations inside their grow tent. As plants age, especially during flower, they release moisture into the air causing Rh levels to increase. Also every time you feed you are adding water (moisture) into the air which in late stages typically you feed/water 1G plus each time per plant. That is a lot of water! Depending on your setup you may not be able to keep your Rh down in the mid-high 50s. With most VPD charts there are "sweet" spot ranges to keep your temps/humidity levels at for the right VPD. So in the end I have raised my temps up to 28-30 C and my humidity is now 58-65%. After adjusting my levels, I noticed a HUGE improvement in plant production and how healthier each plant looked. The Purple Kush was having deficiency issues and with it being only a week away from the start leeching (flushing), I kept feeding it as normal. Buds were looking really nice compared to the previous Purple Kush. The Moby Dick's were also starting to show signs of deficiencies. My guess is to be Potassium (P) or Phosphorous (K) deficiency but It didn't play around with the nutrients. At the end of this week, according to the Remo feeding charts, week 5 is an increase in nutrients so I just let them go. My feedings are pretty much consistent each week which is about 5 feeds each plant. I do the lift technique and when I can lift the pot with little to no effort I feed.

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 2) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. C.C ist bissl kleiner aber trotzdem hat sie starke Triebe und scheint gute Blüten auszubilden. Der Geruch ist aufjedenfall schon funky.
