Week 8 Day 49 to harvest P1 harvest was flower day 53 - total wet weight was 24oz and the stem base accounted for 8.0oz, so about 16oz set to dry. I fed P1 half nute flush water again this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. And then cut her down 4 days later. P2 harvest was flower day 49 - total wet weight was 16.3oz and the stem base accounted for 6.4oz so about 9.9oz set to dry. (reminder that P2 was the test plant where I broke the main stem and later another later topping from an off branch already topped.) The test resulted in smaller colas in the later topping and the first topping break recovered surprisingly well with colas equal to the biggest. However the later break after the last topping resulted in the smallest cola. This tells me that any damage survived early can see a full recovery but later ones may cost yield. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. I will update with cure and smoke details later.

1st Week of Flowering! 28 Aug - first 10am-10pm (12hr) cycle today, having had a shorter light period yesterday to adjust to 10-10. LST’d most plants - reminding ones tomorrow will be done. Drying out pots as felt like was overwatering - will monitor wilting and water tomorrow evening but hopefully won’t suffer too much. High temps with LED’s at 60% intensity today. Turned to 70% tonight as need to lower hanging height having LST’d but didn’t want to upset plants in dark cycle as too late (lights off). Will turn back to 60% and drop to 45cm having seen canopy adjust to LST. 29 Aug - all plants watered w/2ml/L seaweed & 3ml/L flower powerfeed. Learning to control humidity & temps. All progressing. More LST done today but forgot an overall picture! Biscotti Mintz showcasing its strong genetics. 30 Aug - going well! 31 Aug - turned lights from 70-%50 as maybe, maybe(?) too intense…just felt instinctively to do so. No yellowing but don’t look 110%? 1 Sept - all watered w/ 3ml/L liquid feed, 1L each. Also raised lights a little (5cm) to get better coverage. Looking good. 2 Sept - going well. Seems like plants enjoying 50% light @50cm approx. 3 Sept - progressing further. Moved plants 5-10cm closer to tent door so far plant was under light a bit more so more even. Will maybe up light to 60% commencing week 2 of flower tomorrow. Will water tomorrow having top dressed with organic dry medium bloom nutes to help keep P levels up since low in Powerfeed I’m using.

There are some things that remain memorable in my journey as a grower, and one of them is my encounter with Nectar Drip. This strain stole my heart and will never give it back like all the strains in my top five, but every time it's magical, like falling in love, except I don't feel butterflies, but Wu Tang's Killa Beez. This strain is a unique marvel, one of those one-night stands, because it's a Limited Edition, already sold out after a few days of release, and given its limited nature, it will never be released again. I begged my friends at Zamnesia on my knees, but they're adamant about this: once a Limited Edition is gone, it's gone forever. Think carefully before letting it slip away. Add to this the fact that I've been a hop-hop guy for about 30 years and have also followed the entire Meth journey, and it's incredible to grow a strain named after the albums that drove me crazy when I was 20. It's pure fire for my graying ass. Better and bigger everyday! I have finally overcome my problems with nute burn. I create 1 gallon of the solution w/ no dilution, running full strength nutes, and this solution is lasting 1 week+ now. Then daily, fill 1 gallon with purified city water, with 1ml of Heavy 16 Roots for PH balance. Since I topped the 4 bagseed plants multiple times very early in veg growth, they are extremely short and bushy. But the flowering stretch seems to definitely be happening. Plus they have a ton of budsites being created. Still waiting to see what sex the 4 bagseed are. I have multiple close-up pictures of the 4 bagseed photos if anyone can see any signs of the sex? No PM or mites I can observe. Sprayed for them in week 5. Every day I am defoliating the lower branches of the plant as it becomes more obvious what isn't getting light. No smell. Bagseed were started from seed, germinated using paper towel method, and pretty neglected with light up until week 4. Also they spent too long in small containers before being transplanted. Unidentified genetics/sex. Clones were bought anywhere from 9 inches to 13 inches tall. But the clones have just really taken off in their larger pots. The Blackwater plant in the middle is the smallest clone of the three I received, and it was also filled with less dirt than the other 2, which are obviously taller an bushier. Anyone see anything else I should be doing?

Ende Woche 7 – Anfang Woche 8 | Grow Diary Mimosa x 🍊 👊🏻 von Barney’s Farm Der Grow neigt sich langsam aber sicher dem Ende entgegen und man merkt jetzt richtig, dass die Ladies ihre letzten Kräfte in die Buds stecken. Die Blätter werden mittlerweile immer gelber, was für diese Phase absolut normal ist, da die Pflanzen anfangen ihre Reserven aufzubrauchen. Deshalb werde ich diese Woche den Dünger Schritt für Schritt herunterfahren, bevor es dann in der letzten Woche nur noch Wasser geben wird. Noch ungefähr zwei Wochen bis zur Ernte – die Spannung steigt langsam. Ab jetzt werden natürlich täglich die Trichome kontrolliert, damit der perfekte Erntezeitpunkt nicht verpasst wird. Die Buds legen aktuell trotzdem noch ordentlich an Dichte zu und wirken von Tag zu Tag kompakter. Der Geruch wird ebenfalls immer intensiver und die Mimosa x Orange Punch zeigt jetzt nochmal richtig, was in ihr steckt. Bin gespannt, wie die letzten Tage noch laufen werden. Recovering from her snap well :) Taken central tops for cuts, done another round of topping all round. Should end up with 15 evenly sized colas Up potted to 25L, will flip ina week or so.

Week 2 and nice and green, we just gave some more organic nutrients like palm tree ash and some guanokalong powder, for the moment its seems to be all good, in 2 weeks I'll be adding some sugars and some more PK

Good week of growth. Fed twice throughout the week. Couple signs of insects but hoping it's just the few fruit flies I have in the vicinity. Also continued with LST, both plants seem to like it. Growth on Alaskan purple is slow due to the shitty Amazon light overjead I believe. Seemango has a mars hydro ts1000 overtop.

I did some LST. It is a very open plant i think this is from her sativa haze parents. Also did some defoliation. Her main cola is really stacking up very nice. i hope and think this is going to be a nice huge main cola. You can see the difference in genetics really good compared to my DP plants. Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
