Black Diamond Auto — Pheno B 🌱💎 Week 1 Vegetation | Another Plant That Refuses to Wait Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome back to the second phenotype of Black Diamond Auto. After documenting Pheno A, I was curious to see whether her sister would follow a similar path or begin revealing a completely different personality. By the end of Week 1, the answer was becoming quite clear. While every plant develops at its own pace, this girl appears just as eager to get moving as her sister. In fact, looking through the week’s progression, Black Diamond Auto Pheno B showed some of the fastest early development in the entire garden. And for a plant growing under a 12/12-from-seed schedule, that’s always fun to watch. ⸻ The Start of the Journey Like the rest of this project, this phenotype was transplanted directly into her final container from the very beginning. The objective remains simple: Allow the root system to establish itself without requiring additional transplants later in life. By minimizing root disturbance during the earliest stages, the plant can focus entirely on growth and development rather than recovering from unnecessary stress. As always, the substrate used was Plagron Lightmix, chosen for its gentle nutrient charge and excellent structure for young plants. ⸻ Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained identical to the rest of the garden: 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C 💧 Relative humidity: 55% ⚡ Light schedule: 12/12 from seed 💨 Gentle airflow 🌱 Plagron nutrient program 💡 Future Of Grow Black Series LED lighting The objective remains creating a stable environment where genetics can express themselves naturally without environmental stress influencing development. ⸻ Early Development From the first photographs onward, Pheno B displayed excellent vigor. The seedling emerged cleanly, established itself quickly, and immediately began building leaf surface. Throughout the week, growth remained steady and consistent. Internodal spacing stayed compact. Leaf color remained healthy. Stem development looked strong. And perhaps most noticeably, this plant wasted very little time transitioning from seedling growth into active vegetative development. Every new set of photographs showed visible progress. ⸻ A Plant in a Hurry One of the most interesting observations this week was the speed at which new growth appeared. Just like her sister, this phenotype seems determined to move quickly. By the end of the week, the plant had already developed impressively large leaves relative to its age. Looking at the overhead photographs, the structure is beginning to spread outward while simultaneously pushing new growth from the center. The overall appearance is vigorous, energetic, and highly efficient. For a plant only one week into vegetation, she already looks eager to start building her future canopy. ⸻ Comparing the Two Phenotypes Although both Black Diamond phenotypes appear vigorous, subtle differences are already becoming visible. Pheno A showed slightly more unusual early leaf development before rapidly accelerating. Pheno B appears a little more symmetrical and organized in her structure while maintaining the same impressive pace of growth. At this stage, both phenotypes are performing extremely well. Whether these small differences remain or disappear over time is something we’ll continue monitoring throughout the run. ⸻ Why Autos Often Move Faster One interesting observation throughout this project has been the difference between some of the autoflowers and the photoperiod cultivars. Several of the autos, including this Black Diamond phenotype, appear to be developing slightly faster during these earliest stages. This isn’t unusual. Autoflowers have evolved with a relatively short life cycle and often prioritize rapid early establishment. Because they do not depend on a photoperiod change to begin flowering, many autos spend very little time deciding what to do. They simply start growing. And this phenotype seems determined to prove that point. ⸻ First Impressions So far, Black Diamond Auto Pheno B has been a pleasure to watch. Healthy color. Strong structure. Excellent vigor. Large leaf development for her age. And a growth rate that places her among the most energetic young plants in the room. At only one week into vegetation, she’s already showing the kind of momentum that makes future updates exciting. ⸻ Looking Ahead The first week has provided a strong foundation. Now the real fun begins. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue following both Black Diamond phenotypes as they develop under the 12/12-from-seed project, documenting structure, growth patterns, and any unique characteristics they choose to reveal. For now, Pheno B appears to have one message: “No time to waste.” Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower’s Love everyone. 🌱💚

Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower) This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time) Defoliation So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch. Diet Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now. Thanks to my sponsors from MSNL & SPIDER-FARMER. Just harvested the GranDaddyPurple Auto. (BEST AUTO I'VE EVER GROWN SO FAR, TASTE, SMELL & STRENGHT BEATS ALL PAST AUTOS, BUDS DOWN) will be uploading the weeks on that soon. I've too many diaries. I knew this. So, I plan to do 2 wk updates at a time for 70% of my diaries, so pics and info will be added as those it was a weekly update. Also, I don't put up a harvest wk for a month until the cure. Thanks to my sponsors from MSNL & SPIDER-FARME, look forward to working with your more. And trying a lot more of your products. #convert. Much appreciation to all ppl who stopped by and did your thing. Look forward to seen your work if I know you dropped by of course. Either way. Thanks for stopping by

After two power outages that caused low temperatures in the tent for 2 × 9 hours at 15–17°C, the plants recovered very well. Colors are starting to appear in the tent, the leaves are turning red! It seems to be on the right track — the buds are swelling and the smell is strong!

week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

CBD Caramel is still doing stellar and is at the top of the class as far as height. Still getting a little bug damage tho, so I sprayed with neem oil, again. Going to water in some Big Bloom and Molasses later. Really good week.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , this grill really has grown right out this week and is unrecognisable from the plant just a few days ago , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)
