👉I used the seedling solution 3-4 days too long and the plant looked like it was starting to have issues. I mixed some early growth solution and amost immediatly the plant looked happier and started to take off. It got no stretch so I anticipate the plant will be another short bush.

2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. Somehow the photos of nr1 got lost, very strange, but great pics of nr2. Also added videos of them both. Power Plant XL nr 1 is 67 cm Power Plant XL nr 2 is 68 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Day 18: The canopy is developping nice and evenly. I wonder how much mire they will stretch. I think that ill do some defoliation at the beginning of week 4 Day 20: Today I did a big defoliation right before the third flowering week ends. It was a tough job reaching all the leaves in the back because I cant move the plants.😅 But we made it! Now the light can reach much further down the plants for better/bigger buds and better aeration.

The plants are huge and they are developing preflowers. I lowered the photoperiod to 14/10 in 3 days I lowered it to 12/12. I gave water to flushing roots and now I gave phosphorus and potassium for flowering

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.

Esta semana han aparecido los malditos trips en las hojas, estoy tratando este problema con aceite de neem . Con el tema de fertilizantes he regado con melaza únicamente, a las macetas con 3 litros de agua cada 3 días.

Started harvesting,flushed the past few days.Will finish chopping tmw.Almost sad to see her go,she really was the most unique strain I've ever grown and I'm confident the bud is gna be top shelf.Everything is covered in thick velvet fur man I tell u,sticky smelly u name it.Thanks Barneys Farms,awesome strain.
