Not sure if the tap root has hit the Kind Soil yet or but she seems to be growing pretty steadily. She's trying to keep up with her growing sister but struggling since the 4AM is fast as shit.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

First grow since 2020, with around 250 grams for an outdoor which has kept me going as I'm not a big smoker. No option for outdoor this year so with summer coming to an end indoor it will be in my tin garden shed. Bit of a heat wave this week but likely to cool down by the time I plant. Then just hoping the weather gods are nice for the next 4 months. Not too hot. Not too cold...just right🙄 Soaked seeds last night and now in paper towels. Planning on 5 plants anyhow, will veg for 4 weeks and flower for 9 to 10 or whenever ready. Hoping to harvest early winter before it gets really cold. Coco coir perlite mix this time and using the whole Mills range. Should be fun anyhow. Not expecting the same rewards of my last outdoor, but anything over 100 grams I'll be happy with. Anyhow, as far as germination goes I have 5 seeds to play with. In a glass of water for 8 hours, then paper towel in a zip lock bag in a warm location, including my pocket and next to me sleeping. Within 24 hours 3 of the 5 had germinated. I have doubts that 1 of the 2 remaining will germinate at all as it's a small mongrel seed but who knows. Update...all seeds germinated even the last mongrel seed. I like keeping em warm, in bed with me, in my pocket when cold and not in bed. The last seed that I didn't think had a chance from the start popped 2 days after the rest, after I put the zip lock bag with the paper towel in my pocket for a couple of hours. 100% ain't bad that's for sure. Every time I grow I do the same thing, no u may not see this method recommended but it works for me. Last few grows I've germinated them in my underwear, while wearing of course. Nice and warm thats for sure, maybe its the fluctuation 🤣 Go on, do a google search on the underwear germination method, doubt any hits will be found 🤣

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! 1.) I think the Purple Lemonade might have flipped into preflower already like the other Red Poison and Dark Devil 2.) Think the Purple Lemonade has Tobacco Mosaic Disease? No worries for me dur only thing I can see with the streaking/twisted new growth but the Purple Lemonade is doing fine otherwise 😈 More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 Moved the Purple over to it's final 5gal on Jan 26 and started light LST + watering from the bottom of the tray to coax the roots down as opposed to a top pour. Still giving them hourly sprays of basic water foliar and the light water/hydrogen peroxide spray mixed in here and there for piece of mind/extra cleaning from the soil contact during transplant. Looks like bits of purple/red flecks are starting to creep in to the stems so hopefully keeping my window open at night to drop the temperatures will pull some great colours in my tent for the first time 😻👹😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Día 01. Arranco con un nuevo sistema. Esta vez no puse madre ya que conseguí los esquejes sueltos. Pero la idea es que la punta donde queda una planta sola vaya la madre de los 6 esquejes que saque. Puse 4 esquejes de Tropicana al frente y en el lugar de la madre. Y puse 3 esquejes de Polaris en el caño de atrás del sistema. Los tiempos de floración son de aproximadamente 55 a 63 días en ambas variedades, así que me van a coincidir los momentos para ir poniendo los productos y cosechar. Los esquejes tuvieron algunos problemas durante el enraizado, por eso están medio destruídos, pero en una semana a más tardar deberían estar reaccionando y empezando el crecimiento. Voy a ver cuantas semanas las hago crecer. El sistema tiene algunas pérdidas de agua, pero son goteos que voy a soldar.

Overall I would grow these genetics agian if they bring their prices down, there are just to many other options for good genetics for alot less money.

[ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

MONDAY: Taking all those cuttings last week seems to have really triggered her auxins, all branches are stretching, even the ones I cut from, but her main is reeeaaalllly stretching.. I think I'm gonna have to either top her or supercrop her. I've got to keep her height down so she isn't too much of a pain to deal with in a tent full of her little clones. this fall. Or maybe I'll just stick her in a closet somewhere and keep about 15 watts on her all winter long, then take some more cuttings to put outdoors? I wish I know for sure how well she smelled/tasted/intoxicated. I'd hate to learn she's a super-plant and not be able to grow her again... WEDNESDAY: I gave her a drink of water with bud candy and calimagic and started foliar feeding with Flower's Kiss. THURSDAY: I checked her clones today...4 have rooted very well and going into 3 gal pots tomorrow. Foliar fed her and told her how beautiful she looks. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of grow nutes including Microbe Brew and also started her on Terpinator. I planted 7 of her clones in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots today. They are sharing the 4 x 4 tent with the 6 x White Widow + 1 x Candy Cane seedlings for now. SATURDAY: I planted 7 of her clones today in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots. I added two new blue/cold white LED panels to the 4 x 4 tent. They are kickass. Very low heat and excellent coverage. The 2 lights is overkill for this space, but I like it....a lot. So much so, that I will order 4 of them in 660nm deep red for flowering..two for the 4 x 4 and two for the 5 x 4. I also bought and installed a 16' string of 300 Cold White (7000k)/Warm White (2800k) strip lights(150 each). It has a remote control which lets me change over to warm white for flowering...or have steady cold white and pulse warm white..or whatever. I think that they will serve as excellent low-heat side/corner lighting. Kinda pricey because in addition to the lights, you have to buy a controller and power supply, but they seem very effective. I plan to order another set for the 4 x 4 tent. But, it's a double-row set (600 leds) ..one row of lights is warm white, and the other is RGB adjustable, so I can run 440nm blues for veg and 660nm reds for flower. I plan to keep them just below the canopy so as to illuminate the secondary and tertiary buds as much as possible. Once this concept is proven (and once I save the money), I'll do the same thing in the 4 x 5 tent. Update: Ok, so I've decided I'm only kinda happy with the strip lights.. I've decided to try velcroing 4 of those 4' integrated led tube lights in cold white for veg and warm white for flower to my horizontal poles. The cold white(6500k) are 2-rows of lights that pull 36w and put out 3000 lumens each and the warm white(2700) are single row pulling 24w at 2200 lumens each.

Sorry for not being able to show you the transplant and the roots of this gorgeous lady but my phone died so I couldn't do anything about it, this lady was Transplanted to a 15L pot on day 39 since planted, on may 10th, I prepared the pots using the complete biotabs organic line, I've added 25G of startrex for every 5L of soil, also 1 biotabs slow release tablet for every 5L of soil (3 tablets) and then sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the planting hole before putting the plant, the I watered the plant immediately after the transplant with 1ml/L of orgatrex and 1G/L of bactrex, pretty easy as you guys can see, let's see the results that we get with Biotabs!! 🤤💯🔝👨‍🌾

Sorry for the delay was in a wedding this weekend came home and been trimmin like a dog the past few days but I gotta feed everything in this tent tmm so I'm gunna get some pics. If your interested in the pics come back tmm night. The only 3 autos in 1 gal bags are the mexican airlines, pineapple express and blue dreamatic. Theyll stay pretty small and dry out quick so they are tough to keep up with cuz I only feed when I'm feeding the big ones. I dont mix up separate batches for these I just dilute the big batch which is usually 10-13 gal at a time

I shouldn't have started the lst training on her because she started flower very fast and early so she ended uo being very small, which I hate because It has a very skunk citric aroma very powerful, I had a little harvest of 10g counting the little flowers which I used to make cannabutter to make some edibles.I wish I could have a huge harvest of this amazing strain, looking forward to grow her again. 🤞💚🌱💎

Didn't do ice flush towards the end but regular flush water was at about 65-67°F Night temps dropped as low as 67°F have been flushing for a total of 10 days firdt flush started with 2 tbsp molasses and fresh water and afterwards just plain water til the end. Will give pot 2 more days to dry out before cutting down. This will be the last post until the drying trimming and curing is complete. These are way to big for me to try and squeeze on my 10 inch long 10 pound scale. These plants are 2 inches short of 3 feet tall from soil level 😂😂

Week 2 went well they are progressing normally. A#3 is a bit smaller than the rest but not surprising being that it sprouted with the shell fully attached and the other 2 had a nearly 4 day headstart. I'm happy she made it and was able to break through the shell. It seems adding saliva to it did the trick. Feeding schedule has been poor due to my busy schedule, I've feed them twice this week both times I gave them each 1/3 of a gallon that was mixed with 1/4 tsp each of general hydroponics floramicro, micro, and 1/8 tsp bloom and 2 ounces of Vermis Terra. 18/6 ls, 84°/43% dt, 73°/53%nt, 6.3-6.5 ph

Changed ns …… now @ EC 1.7 The nerdy stuff: As a result of my testing new growth-fertilzer, i‘m working with extremely high Ca/Mg figures right now. Future ns will be way more conservative (~100mg Ca/~35mg Mg). Plants don‘t show any signs of any nutrient excesses or lockouts. The babies produce a lot of leaf-mass and really push forward. Yet they are dark green - new shoots and foliage turn dark rapidly. Day 23 All the new growth reacts so well to the light, that i weave away light-thieves whenever i can, to get more strong shoots. Day 24/25 Leafs start to grow from big to huuuge. Vigourous nutrient-uptake….. filled up some ns to get back to 1.6. Daily weaving….. everything fine so far . Day 26 Weaving and wondering how big leafs can grow in such a small tent Day 27 Same same….. t.b.c

Bud sites are getting ready now. I did a bit more LST and removed a few side shoots which never gonna make it due to lack of light. I replaced the light, under the TS 1000 she was praying all day long. On the previous run I had problems with the FC3000, it was turning itself off at random times. Mars Hydro was kindly sent me a replacement controller, so far it seems like this problem has been solved. However, I tried to use the app again and it’s still shite. 💩😂 So I just use the light in manual mode. Such a shame for the extra features I cannot use. For DLI I will use the following chart: AUTO FLOWER LED LIGHT INTENSITY Recommended LED PPF/PAR Values / DLI Based on 20 hrs. of light. Seedlings 150 - 200 umol / DLI 10.80 - 14.4 moles per day Veg up to 9" 450 umol / DLI 32.40 moles per day Early bloom 500 umol / DLI 36.00 moles per day Mid bloom 650 umol / DLI 46.80 moles per day Late bloom 750 umol / DLI 54.00 moles per day Ripen 400 umol / DLI 28.80 moles per day *** Use extreme caution going 700 umol or higher @ 20 hrs/day this could cause leaf burn*** The only difference is that I will keep this run in 18/6, so I ignore the PAR values above. IMO the best thing you can do is to read the leaves all the time and use the charts as a guidance.

Week 6 already! The buds are getting more and more tricomes and slowly getting fatter, we also gave some PK but i think it was a little too much combined with the palm tree ashes in the soil, but nothing to worry about, we wil lower the dosis and start the flush next week 😁👌
