They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. 7/18 so even though shes been flowering for only 5 weeks(starting6) shes looking closer to being done than I had expected. Shes been losing alot of yellow leaves and most of the pistils are orange now. I checked the trichomes as best as I could today and on the main/top cola, I saw some amber but very little. But the rest of the buds were mostly clear I believe. I still want her to keeo going another few weeks but we'll see as time and trichomes progress. I added some extra flowering nutes and a product thats got good stuff like kelp and molasses and crab meal and stuff besides NPK values to help the plants put on some extra weight hopefully. 7/19 just took pictures/videos and checked trichomes 7/22 checked trichomes. The very top nugs have some amber on them and the rest are mostly cloudy. Wish I wouldve been checking the trichomes sooner so I couldve started flushing sooner. I wish i wouldve stopped using open sesame sooner as well. Next time im gonna do some things different with these plants. Once the soils dry probably gonna chop

This week brought some challenges—I discovered thrips on the leaves of my plant. Thankfully, the infestation isn’t too severe yet, and I acted quickly to address the issue: 1. Sprayed the plant with plain water to knock off any pests. 2. Removed the top layer of soil. 3. Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat as a protective measure. I really hope this will help. After reading up on these nasty pests, I learned that they can completely devastate the leaves if left unchecked. Unfortunately, I have only myself to blame for their appearance. Due to the cold weather, I’ve been using a heater in the room with my growbox, which has caused the humidity to drop significantly. It sometimes dips as low as 30%, and it rarely goes above 50%. Most of the time, the humidity hovers around 35-40%, which is an ideal breeding ground for thrips. To answer the obvious question—yes, I do have a humidifier. However, my growbox has a very powerful exhaust fan (315 m³/h for an 80x80 space), so the air is refreshed too quickly for the humidifier to make a lasting difference. Aside from fighting thrips, I also made some adjustments to my grow this week. On Day 20, I did a little LST. Honestly, I wasn’t planning on using any training techniques in this grow, but I decided to give it a try anyway. One thing I can say for sure—I want to skip LST in my next grow. It’s quite inconvenient to water the plant when the leaves are practically touching the soil. Additionally, I defoliated the first two sets of leaves. I felt this was necessary to improve airflow around the plant and reduce the risk of pests spreading further. Watering: Day 17: 400 ml Day 20: 500 ml I’m keeping a close eye on the plant and hope to overcome these challenges successfully.

Week 6 is in the books! This plant has beautiful bud structure. Tons of trichomes pushing out. I have smells amazing. Overall great plant in every aspect. Easy to grow. Took nutrients very well. From here on out it's coasting.

Day 36. Still no feed.... Again, difference in size growing many autos is HUGE pain. One Northern Lights is smallest plant I ever grew, I doubt I would I achieved it with loads of LST ;))) Will try to lift that midget a bit ... Some flower, some not, Diesels are still the only strain I would grew, but most probably not once ;))) they look amazing !!! 10 out of 10 ! Green Crack still the obvious looser at the moment and is still mostly in veg ... Next watering will be full of goodies for them !!! Couple leaves off here and there, couple branches cropped or repositioned, still waiting for stretch to be over before installing some support. Day 37. One more girl took SuperCroping like champ and at the moment has very even canopy. All garden looks fine, hope feed won't spoil that joy ;))) Day 40. Girls still on water, but during every two days, so it's again pain ... Whatever pot size I take - girls start to go faster, than my laziness wants :))) Cleared bottoms of first row, next watering will clear other 5, just want to see are they ok. Some strains hates any job done to them and stops developing.... Would be stupid to slow them down in final stretch ... Happy Growing !!!

Well I accomplished what i had set out to do, I have a IBL "In bread line " S1 feminized pile of seeds and a little bit of feminized pollen to chuck around and make a Frankenstein strain of my own. I really have to start my grows earlier to beat the heat in SoCal at the end it was to hot in the tent I wanted to go an extra week for the seeds to mature but I have more than enough ripe ones. this grow was more of an experiment that a controlled by the numbers operation. but I'm happy I got what I was looking for. cheers GD community Addendum so after a few weeks and more deseeding I took the 150g of popcorn buds and all the shake from the seeded buds about another 150g and made some bubble hash. I used the T check meter and this is on average 10% THCa considering the plant spent most of its energy and resources making seeds I am not surprised by its low THC level. I will hang on to the beans for now and the next round will be some AUTO's maybe at the first of the year when its cooler. total hash in grams 30g the math seems to work out on the return of 300g 10% is 30g there were 2 hash balls no pictured weighing 6g total. 25micron 73 and 120 might press the 120 and the 25 gonna save the 73 for special occasions. be safe all until next time.

12/4/23-moving to flower. I have been doing LST, just put a screen on it to scrog. 12/5/23 - started new flower recipe and 12 hour light schedule 12/10/23 - has been in flower for almost a week; I have been putting 160ml of nutrients in am & pm, along with adding 24ozs of new water, ph running slightly low at 5.64. A little burns on some tips but looks healthy over all. Still not a tall plant, but short and bushy for sure. When do I see buds forming ? 🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process.
