My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Hi guys entering week 7 veg on the scrog grow of strawberry chemdawg og and blackberry moonrocks under the marshydro sp3000. There very small considering there on week 7 🤔 but now i realised that my light has been on 25% 🤣🤣🤣 now its on 50% until nov 1st when I flip it.

7/25 Did two videos this morning. One where I was only going to water the 3 gallons I had mixed up but it's going to be very hot this week. Didn't want to make the same mistake as last time so I watered everything AT LEAST A GALLON. I need to bump up the volume during these really hot, humid days abd it doesn't get worse then this. Things are getting dusty. Found an inch worm and some minor pest damage. Once it cools down ill spray something. Also noticing small nitrogen deficiency that takes a leaf and moves up the plant a little bit. I'm going to need to start nutes this week. I'll keep this updated. Went back over around one and everything was looking fantastic! Took a few pictures and defoliated a few leaves. UPDATE: I GOT A MESSAGE FROM DAD SAYING MY PLANTS LOOKED DROOPY. I HADNT MADE IT OVER FOR MY NIGHTLY INSPECTION BUT HAVING WATERED YESTERDAY I WAS THINKIBG OF SKIPPING IT. GOT THERE AND SAW THE FIRST 10TH PLANET DROOPY. We got almost no rain so I'm glad I watered like I was supposed to even though the bags had some heft to them. I'm noticing more pest damage. I'm thinking a bt spray tonight might be beneficial. I'll look through what I've got on hand. I may just give them an application of spinosid but we'll see. I still need to move things and put my supports up. Medical problems have slowed me down. UPDATE: Went to check the plants around 3 and they looked great. Bags were still heavy and a little bit moist. I think with the added rain some of the plants may have been overwatered. I should have only watered tue bags that felt light. There is only one plant now that looks a little overwatered and even that is looking good. I found some more minor pest damage. Winds were fairly high. I wondered about my trellis netting but it hadn't been sanitized and my plants are very healthy so I decided to wait. I watched them dance like willows in the wind. I know it won't be like that with big ol colas on them but for right now it's working out just fine. Goal for next week is to move the front row back and move things around to better utilize space, possibly spray for pest and add supports for final flowering after I get the plants situated how I want them. If I do it right I may be able to lst some. Also took a 2 minute video but I cant upload until tomorrow. 7/31 I'm wondering about my watering habits. This morning I watered a couple blue cheese and purple punch plants with just a half gallon as they were light and looked drooping. I'm wonderingvif I'm overwatering. Some plants still seem heavy while others are light? I think the plants may have been overwatered due to the torrential rain and my taking less time hand watering. Hopefully I won't come home from this doctors appointment to wilted plants but I really doubt it. 10th planet requires far less water than the two other strains. Even specific phenos require more water and its difficult with the different size containers but im working with what ive got. I need more ph down and I've gotta get these plants supported. These are some massive plants. Store was closed. Dispensary was opened. Showed my buddy the video then it started raining. By the time I got there the plants looked horrible. Everything was droopy but a couple were really bad. A few weren't bad at all. Actually the one in the ten needed it. I think I just need to give more water at a time and document how I water each plant individually. I also need to take into consideration the weather. Hard to do when it's so unpredictable. I'll wait for them to dry out and then I plan to start low doses of big bloom and grow big but I need to wait for them to dry out first. Then next watering they'll get some nutes. It's sunny now so I may go check my plants. I may also put a fan out for a while on the bags. That might help them out.

Girls are on cruise control, gave them another big feed of the Cronk Nutrients. The info says this strain is 70-75 days, we’re at day 63 and they are still putting on weight. I’m thinking around the 22-25 of September is when I’ll start checking the trichomes more often. Checked today, most are cloudy, still quite a few clear though. I want to harvest my two strains together and as long as they stick to the timeline they say (give it take) we should be good 😊 Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

9/1/23 - Day 80 - Things are going well, the buds are growing everyday still. A couple more weeks! 9/3/23 - Day 82 - I snuck in about 1 min before the lights turned on. I got some cool shots up above. I also snuck in a cool photo from the base of the plant looking up. 9/5/23 - Day 84 - I took a few microscope shots of the THC. They are still very much see through so there is still a couple more weeks to go. I also got a mockup of the hanging system I will be using see pics above. The end of this week marks the beginning of the root flush, the last stage before harvesting, as it’s the final week in which nutrients are applied. The plants have shown remarkable development: the buds have become massive, and the main colas are nearly the size of my hand. I’ve followed the BioBizz feeding schedule precisely, and I highly recommend this brand for its organic formulation and balanced nutrient profile. Throughout the grow, I’ve maintained an EC level of approximately 1.8 mS/cm and a pH range between 6.3 and 6.4, which has ensured optimal nutrient uptake with no visible deficiencies or toxicities. The trichomes are now roughly 50% milky and 50% clear, a clear sign that the harvest window is approaching. Although Sweet Seeds specifies an 8-week flowering period for this strain, my plants appear to need around two additional weeks, bringing the total to about 10 weeks of flowering. I prefer to avoid rushing the process, allowing the plants to reach full maturity and to develop their terpene profile and potency to the fullest before harvesting and starting the drying phase. The only minor disappointment is the lack of the expected reddish hues on the colas—according to the strain description, there was a 60% chance of red coloration, but none of the three plants have displayed it so far. Perhaps some tinting might appear during the final week, though it seems unlikely. We’re now officially in week 9 of flowering, and I’ve begun the flush to remove excess salts from the substrate, ensuring a cleaner, smoother taste in the final product.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. It suppose to arrive my Lumatek Attis 300w on monday and ill plug it on 12/12h already. Update! 16/04: 2 days a go finally arrived my new Lumatek Attis 300, i've also started with terravega 15ml x 5L the same day i've plugged the new light. i've put the dimmable intensity at 100% 60cm above the top of taller plants. Some a them are still little, but the bigger ones are at least 25cm, so next week gonna be 12h schedule. i've made more defoliation before de light time change and after that i'll make lollipoping when the girls gonna be more larger than now
