This is my first time posting anything on a forum or website about my personal grows. I am currently running lights sponsored by a company to give feedback, so I will not be sharing the brand. I buy my own nutes because frankly, Emerald Harvest has given me great success. Shooting for 12 females to run under 3 lights butted end to end.

Still in germination phase, yet the diary is calling it week one. Let me say one thing about rooting from seed…IN MY OPINION YOU ARE WRONG IF YOU ARE NOT USING CLONEX SOLUTION IN YOUR PLAIN WATER AT THIS STAGE. These seeds were put in a cup of plain water 3 days ago. After taproot shows, straight to growing cubes with 20ml per gallon of Clonex/water. 2-3 weeks left of the prior grow. Last pics are my current grow space. 6x12 room with probably 400-500 tops. Total of 12 plants (3 GHS White Widow and 9 Fortune cookies from Humboldt. Room temp 78 day 68 night 1500ppm CO2. The goal, as with every grow, is to have wall to wall tops with a small walk way in the front of the room as a working space. I will update weekly with every technique and the reason behind it. Happy growing

Germination went as good as it could. Trying Dynomyco for the 1st time. 1 tablespoon in the hole created for the root plug. Pure coco, no vermiculite. Usually don’t use a dome and starter plugs but had to leave town for a wedding. Came home after 4 days and picked the best 12 sprouts. Transplanted to 1 gallon pots and there they will stay until moved to 10 gallon pots. Had to use an old led sun blazer to start them because just over a week left on previous grow. I use to use plain RO water but now I follow the seedling and transplant quantities from emerald harvest. Should take off by next week 🤞

Actually week 2 of veg Hello fellow growers! Had one plant not make it to the 2nd week. Grew out 2 sucker leaves and was looking good, but just couldn’t make it…well sh$t happens. So I’ve since started 1 White Widow that was started today. I know the EC value looks high, but remember most of the value comes from the Root Wizard @ 15ml per gallon. Scared me the first time I used Emerald Harvest. Don’t be! Stuff is amazing. I will feed them at this rate until it’s time for the 1st topping. Happy growing! P.S.— I’m cutting down the last grow in 2 days, on Sunday. Everything went stellar and can’t wait for the final weigh in.

Start of week 4 from seed. Emerald Harvest has an early veg nutrient combination that has a scary high EC for how young the plants are, but they never burn and double in size by the week. One more week or 2 of using the root wizard. Usually I us it til I see roots poking out the bottom of the 1 gallon pots. Previous grow was harvested. Turned out amazing. Wet trimmed 6 of the 12 and hung the other 6 whole. Drying regimen consists of turning my flower room pitch black with 60 degree temp at 60 percent humidity for 16-20 days. Tends to dry and cure at the same time at this low temp and mid high humidity. Smell is amazing at the 7 day mark of drying. Even the wet trimmed gets this 60/60/16-20days. Planted 3 white widow in same pot (pic 4). Will choose the best looking one and that will make the 12th plant for the current grow

End of 4th week from seed. 2 tallest plants were topped at the 4th node. This will give the other plants a chance to catch up height wise. Almost hard to imagine that they will be waist height in just a few more weeks. I grow in pure coco and currently water 300ml of nutrient water per feeding. Gonna replace some stuff in the grow room, currently the dry room, after this weekend. Soon these will be under the led lights they will finish with.

Been a minute since I’ve posted. Quick update as I’m finishing rebuilding the grow room. Feeding in pure coco 1 time a day 600ml…they are in gallon pots. They’ve doubled in size in 2 weeks! Almost done, low rise flood tables will be here next week and let’s hope for set it and forget it results 🤞

Finally transplanted using Azos and Mykos. 7 gallon pots of pure coco. Decided to go with only 8 plants instead of the 12 allowed by law where I live. 3 lights, end to end, and the room is 6x12. There is a pickle barrel outside the room for the nutrient reservoir. By next weekend the first net will go up across the entire room. Gonna fill the net and flip the lights in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

This is just an update from yesterday. Put the screen on this morning before lights came on. Lights flipped on and had to tuck some ladies down. Pissed a few off royally! Had to tape one branch back together for stability…completely split when bending from 45 inches tall to under a 32 inch net height lol. They are strong tho.

This is my second run using Emerald Harvest nutrients. It seems no matter how much cal-mag I pump, they show some apparent deficiencies. It very well could be genetics because everything is lush and green…besides a slight purpling on a stem or two. All is well and the net is half full only seven days after transplant.

1st week of flower and time to tuck these girls under the net hard for 2 weeks. They are major stressed right now but good news…kinda…only broke 1 branch and it was a clean snap. Does anyone else tuck during the stretch??? Just an after thought, I’ve only topped these plants one time from seed. These ethos plants have a million shoots. Says something about their breeding imo.

It’s week 2 already. Week 2 is maybe, maybe, the most important week of the plants life. Time to turn the humidity down based on the temperature your room holds, with as much light as you can create. Now is also the time to introduce co2…as long as your humidity and temperature is right and there’s LOTS OF LIGHT. Co2+light=photosynthesis, and in a perfect world your temp is 78 degrees, humidity 50-55%. These are the only things that matter now. These plants are killing it right now growing visible amounts in just a few days. Every thing was pulled off the plant that is under the netting. While the plants were stretching everything was forced back under the net for the 1st 10 days of flower. Then everything is allowed to grow vertically for the rest of flower. At the end of week 2 is super important. I let the plants dry all the way out. If you think they are dry, wait another day. This is to get as much oxygen to the root zone as possible. Then I flush the plants with 1.0 EC that consists of 50ml/10gal cal mag, 50ml/10gal of sturdy stalk(potassium silicate) and 50ml/10gal of canna pk13/14. Canna pk13/14 is the only non Emerald Harvest product I’ve used in the last 3 years. After the dry out/1.0ec flush of the plants we push the plants with daily 2.0ec feedings until it’s time to flush with fresh water the last week or so of its life. Happy growing and see you next week!

So at the end of week 2 we let them dry all the way out and flushed with a 1.0 EC solution. This week we begin feeding heavy. There are tops freakin everywhere! Out of the 8 plants there is only one that didn’t stretch about 15 inches. This is the first time running Ethos Genetics and I’m glad I did. 6 weeks left.

Last week was another major growth spurt. The room has about 200 tops. This week I will defoliate the monster. Shit is growing so fast I can literally pull off bags of fan leaves and the next day it looks as if I’ve done nothing. In my attempts to be lazy this go around I’ve only topped these plants one time. They took that single topping and ran full steam ahead. I’m very impressed with Ethos thus far. The smell is a strong citrus/lemon diesel funk. The 🍋 is the strongest upfront and longest lasting. Simply pulling off fan leaves leaves the smell coated on your hands.

This week the are drinking a lot of fluids. They are only in 7 gal pots and drink almost 1.5gal per day of nutrients. Every 3rd day I feed them straight cal-mag/ph’d water @ 1.5gal until I see runoff. The buds have doubled in width in a single week! The start week 5 of flower and I’m officially impressed. Everything from the seeds from Ethos, the Phtotobio lights, and the Emerald Harvest nutrients. None of these are a sponsor, just thought everyone should hear an honest opinion. This is my 1st post online after 20 years of growing. 1st set of LED grow lights…I was a “hell no I’ll never leave my HPS” guy! After seeing the Photobio led with my own eyes at a commercial grow, I went ahead and tried them for myself. Amazing thus far! Just waiting to see a final yield.

Slowly defoliating the larger fan leaves to allow some light through the canopy. This week we will feed Canna pk13/14 at 50ml per 10gal of water in the nutrient solution. All the buds are rock hard and still growing noticeable amounts by the week. One of these nights I’m gonna have to dedicate a solid block of time to defoliating…it’s just so much and with a wife and 2 kids, well you get the point

Trying some Kool Bloom this last week before a quality flush next week. Added to normal week 7 nutrient solution. Took EC to 2.0 and all the plants are super healthy. The buds are all coke can size and larger. There has to be 200+ of them in the room. It was a good call to run Ethos Genetics!

Hey Ethos! This has been one of my best runs in a long time thanks to your genetics. From day one to day four of week 7 the trichomes turned amber fast! So I guess it’s time to flush them. Lots of bright light and a bunch of CO2 made these End Game from Ethos rock. Even at week 7 there is new growth and they won’t stop swelling. Thanks Guys! I felt it was necessary to give its dues to the guys and gals at Ethos. They are not a sponsor…I’m just blown away! Everything went right this time from temp/humidity to training. Flush is just pure ph’d water until the trichomes are 50/50 amber/cloudy.

Start of last week and yesterday, each plant was flushed with 10 gallons of ph’d water. In between they were fed their normal 1 gallon of water daily. It’s been 6 days of straight water. I want to go at least one more full week to ensure the best quality possible. The smell is of citrus fruit and gasoline and a super intriguing sharp lemon. All of them are rock hard except for one pheno which will have the large spongy dense buds. This plant is literally still building calyx’s late in week 7. Amazing! This particular pheno is my favorite. You can really see the cookies gene in all but one pheno. This odd pheno looks like a mimosa breed I’ve done many times but smells just like the others. Every plant no matter the pheno is packed with trichromes! I’ve dropped nighttime temps to replicate the fall weather, I guess lol. This is all trial and error, but I’m starting to see signs of heavy crystal production on the plants closest to the ac. I’ve never done the 2-3 day dark period before harvest but I might try that too. Anybody got a guess on the harvest weight? There is 8 plants total and one is a damn monster with football sized colas. I’m guessing 5 pounds…I was shooting for 4 pounds and think I will cross that mark. Thanks for stopping by!

First, let me preface by saying this is my first time growing anything Ethos. 100 out of 100 I will be growing ethos on my next grow. I just need to confirm for myself that the brand is really as good as my first impression from this run. Lots of trichromes and loads of oil when touched. Everything is sticky and has a supercharged lemon citrus/ gasoline smell. It clings to you! SHOULD HAVE BEEN 10 ⭐️ CANNOT CHANGE MY RATING BUT SHOULD BE 10 ⭐️ BOUTIQUE BUDS IN EVERY WAY!

I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!

@HydroHerb420, usually I do not defoliate my plants at all after the initial lollipop. This go around I’m gonna pull off a trash bags worth of big fan leaves. I think…

Wow @FrontRowAG_BrianG. Beautiful diary with info on grows, photos, observations, etc. Running my first hydro grow in 5 gallon buckets this spring. Also running coco coir for the first time too. Absolutely love the drip design you got going for your coco run. Like, like, like. Keep it smokin...

@GrapevineGrower2, thanks for the kind words. I’m trying to give a little more insight to the grow so new people have something to reference. Next week will almost be like a blog post on the 1st 2 weeks of flower, which might be the most vital 2 weeks of the plants life. Usually I will let the entire net fill before flipping to flower but I had something come up and had to flip early. We will see if the stretch on these plants will fill it in

@HydroHerb420, thank you kindly. Been at this a long time but I don’t do social media. This online stuff is harder to me than growing fire weed. Update coming and all 15 seeds popped in 48 hours

Such big plants bro. Do you think the one that’s foxtailed is actually a different pheno or just where it’s grew taller than the rest and got to close to the light? Strange it’s done thet so late on and the others haven’t.

@LegacyMarketFarm, thanks for all the likes. I’ve gone thru your page and like what you’ve got going on. Yes, all of the buds are rock hard except the largest plant is made up of those large dense spongy buds.
