It’s week 2 already. Week 2 is maybe, maybe, the most important week of the plants life. Time to turn the humidity down based on the temperature your room holds, with as much light as you can create. Now is also the time to introduce co2…as long as your humidity and temperature is right and there’s LOTS OF LIGHT. Co2+light=photosynthesis, and in a perfect world your temp is 78 degrees, humidity 50-55%. These are the only things that matter now.
These plants are killing it right now growing visible amounts in just a few days. Every thing was pulled off the plant that is under the netting. While the plants were stretching everything was forced back under the net for the 1st 10 days of flower. Then everything is allowed to grow vertically for the rest of flower.
At the end of week 2 is super important. I let the plants dry all the way out. If you think they are dry, wait another day. This is to get as much oxygen to the root zone as possible. Then I flush the plants with 1.0 EC that consists of 50ml/10gal cal mag, 50ml/10gal of sturdy stalk(potassium silicate) and 50ml/10gal of canna pk13/14. Canna pk13/14 is the only non Emerald Harvest product I’ve used in the last 3 years. After the dry out/1.0ec flush of the plants we push the plants with daily 2.0ec feedings until it’s time to flush with fresh water the last week or so of its life.
Happy growing and see you next week!
@Ezzjaybruh, I was looking at your planet of the grapes and that was one of my choices. Very impressive run you managed my friend! I hope these turn out as well as yours did.
Running Ethos Punchberry Cookies Rbx and if she looks half as sweet as your EndGameThePunchLine, I'll be one happy puppy! Thanks again for sharing your grow experience ;)
@FrontRowAG_BrianG, It's been a hot second since I stopped by for a peek, Bro. OMFG! So, beautiful. Those girls are on fire. Masterful job, Gromigo. If I haven't mentioned yet, thank you for stopping by my diary and chiming in, so very helpful and appreciated.
@HydroHerb420, so my plumbing is now amazing and finally feeds evenly. New pics coming. Each plant has 3 drip stakes. Gonna dial in the feed settings this coming week. Hopefully it’s a little more “set it and forget it” than my last run
@HydroHerb420, usually I do not defoliate my plants at all after the initial lollipop. This go around I’m gonna pull off a trash bags worth of big fan leaves. I think…
Wow @FrontRowAG_BrianG. Beautiful diary with info on grows, photos, observations, etc. Running my first hydro grow in 5 gallon buckets this spring. Also running coco coir for the first time too. Absolutely love the drip design you got going for your coco run. Like, like, like. Keep it smokin...
@GrapevineGrower2, thanks for the kind words. I’m trying to give a little more insight to the grow so new people have something to reference. Next week will almost be like a blog post on the 1st 2 weeks of flower, which might be the most vital 2 weeks of the plants life. Usually I will let the entire net fill before flipping to flower but I had something come up and had to flip early. We will see if the stretch on these plants will fill it in
@HydroHerb420, thank you kindly. Been at this a long time but I don’t do social media. This online stuff is harder to me than growing fire weed. Update coming and all 15 seeds popped in 48 hours
Such big plants bro. Do you think the one that’s foxtailed is actually a different pheno or just where it’s grew taller than the rest and got to close to the light? Strange it’s done thet so late on and the others haven’t.
@HydroHerb420, so I just bought some hash bags and an ice water hash washing machine plus a NugSmasher rosin press…hopefully I’ll have a bunch of goodies to upload!
@FrontRowAG_BrianG, great detailed answer as always bro. Certainly smashed the big bud department. Look forward to seeing some pics of those bitches dried and cured. 💚💚
@LegacyMarketFarm, thanks for all the likes. I’ve gone thru your page and like what you’ve got going on. Yes, all of the buds are rock hard except the largest plant is made up of those large dense spongy buds.
