Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! frost banger la plante m'a surpris. je pensais à vue d'œil recevoir dans les 250 grammes . mais les tête sont dense et lourde . donc resultat final 370 grammes humide . le nombre de trichome visible et impressionnant super plante à première vue . plus que le séchage et la dégustation la deuxième plante est plus grosses. donc 1er conclusion elle a l'air d'être exceptionnelle attendre la suite

Week 10 behind a few weeks

First attempt at attending the Eternity Grow Cup was a major fail. 2 seeds did not sprout. I planted two new seeds and they came to life. Lost a lot of time. I think my chances to get this run finished within the deadline is almost zero. Now it's a passion project and my training for next years collab between Zamnesia and Plagron.

Day 30: Let grow, no water no feed. Thick stalks, RapidStart making a HUGE difference. Baby + Speed looking good for a baby. Big + Speed taking LST well. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 53º PPFD: 700 VPD: .67 kPa Day 31: Both + Speeds looking really good. Excited to see how they stretch in the coming weeks. Fed 4ml FloraMicro, 4ml FloraGro, 6ml FloraBloom, 2ml CALiMAGic, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 1ml Floralicious Plus, 1ml Liquid KoolBloom and 5ml FloraNectar. 11.5cm/4.5" growth this week. She may need some water, look at her droopy lower leaves. I will monitor this situation.

Okay. Sorry for the slacking where I slacked here. But here we go. I have one photo when I transplanted to my 8 bucket system. They were very mistreated, left in a cloner with plain water for months. They looked haggard. But after a couple months of tlc. I vegged them back to perfect health and flipped to flower. Not going through the weeks of vegging because honestly it’s the auto pilot part of the grow. I selected this mozzarella out of 3 moms. Now for my first harvest replicated. I started day 0 flower Jan 19th of 23. They were about 12 weeks of veg and stretching to get these where I wanted for my scrog. Mozzarella stays very short. So turning my lights down and spacing far away was necessary to stretch. She is a heavy feeder and rewarded. tolerated ppms of 1400 in the past. No Co2 used. Yet. My lights draw 800w each 2 in a 5x10 tent.

Week 5 No weekly updates anymore since nothing is changing except the height. Planted this lady under low stress training into the ground.

Hi there!😎 This is last veg week. My little girl is small and bushy with at least 4 promising side branches beyond the top one. Other branches still in development. She reacted very well to last week feed and now the leaves have much better color. Expecting some stretch and the first signs of flowers for the next days. Just fed water for the last week, had to dry in a drying rack due to lack of space. Nice flowers. Both plants look very similar but both smell different to each other. Both smell nice. Will update.

02/26/2022 Just enoying the smell, pollination was successful! On #6 seeds forming nicely 🙏🏻 Also some weird stretching I'm top buds from accidentally leaving light's on a couple days. But should be good. looks like my efforts to pollinate one branch didn't do so well plenty of seeds to grow out now lower buds look clean of pollen no sign of pollination. Should start adding weight in next two weeks.

Nov.8 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.9 - Moved these girls into Vivosun tent under Phlizon 1200w light from a Marz Hydro tent 5x5 with Marz Hydro ts 1000 light. We needed to move these girls to this tent and have our DWC in the bigger tent so the DWC plants don’t get too hot at the bottom *once girls were transported to new tent the leaves turned to curl and lift upwards, the light is on veg and is 24” high Nov.10 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.10 - Decided we don’t like the blurple light and took one of our Mars Hydro lights from our big tent and switched it Nov.11 - Watered each plant, 500mL, 1mL of each nutrient. Our girls drank soo fast so we are bumping it up a bit Nov.12 - Our girl #1’s leaves are a little droopy and are looking a bit weird in some spots (darker green and almost wrinkled). Our girl #2 though is going great and we started some LST training on her today. Let her growww Nov.14 - Started our girl #1 on LST her leaves are much happier now! Ohhh boy #2 is sprouting so nice she’s starting to fill out so well and she just blossomed once we started LST, she was facing upwards in less than 24h!! Nov.15 - Our girls are thriving so I wanted to FIM #2 and my boyfriend wanted to Top girl #1 Let’s see how these girls groooww Nov.15 - Watered each girl 250mL and 0.25 mL of each nutrient we are going to water them just enough to soak into the ground every day for them to soak up as much nutrients and drink as possible without over watering.
