Week 9: Transitioning and Training The Durban Poison photoperiods are officially settling into their long-term homes and showing some impressive vigor. After the successful transplant into the 25-gallon fabric pots, the root systems are clearly enjoying the extra breathing room. This week is all about managing that explosive growth and setting a solid foundation for the structure of the plants. #Environmental Conditions Location: Outdoor Deck Climate: High plains (Variable temperatures and shifting winds) Sunlight: Full sun (approx. 14+ hours of daylight) Garden Updates & Maintenance The focus this week has shifted from recovery to Low Stress Training (LST). Given how tall this Sativa-dominant landrace can get, keeping the canopy managed is a priority.Train: Implementing a DIY bamboo trellis system. I’m gently pulling the main branches outward to encourage lateral growth and ensure better airflow through the center of the plant. Irrigation: The dual-timer manifold is up and running. The custom-drilled hoses are delivering a consistent soak, which is crucial as the Colorado sun starts to intensify. Nutrients:Sticking with the **FOOP Organic** regimen. The leaves are a deep, healthy green with no signs of transplant shock or nutrient burn. Pest Management: The **African Marigolds** are positioned as sentinels around the fabric bags. So far, the companion planting is doing its job—no signs of mites or aphids. Observations The nodal spacing is starting to stretch slightly, which is expected for Durban Poison. The stalks are thickening up nicely, becoming sturdy enough to handle the afternoon gusts. Plans for Week 10 * Continue adjusting the ties on the LST setup. * Monitor for any early signs of "the stretch."

Lots to improve on next time. My first yield with this was 3 oz from a partially sunny balcony. I got about 7.5-8oz dry this time. This was the only female of 3 seeds I got from last years out door. My buddy crossed one of the males with a very pretty purple lady (mendo) and the next round I’ll be showin ya that. Trimming this stuff was super easy, it’s very sticky but I found the trim to be quicker / easier than some of the stuff I’ve trimmed for friends. It’s day 15 after chop, I just got them into jars, starting to smell perrrrtttyyy good! Still not the right structure/density i hope to achieve someday but overall I was happy with the results. Have yet to test it out but will leave a review once it’s ready to sample . ✌️🌲

01/01/2022 Potting up and amending with 5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower #6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green (also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) 💚. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.🙏🏻 01/06/2022 #3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.

I decided I needed another tent the four plants were extremely cramped in the small tent and it was occupied by some photoperiod blackberry kush plants. Its a good thing I have now moved the autos because my last run with photperiods was marred by my photoperiods hermyiing, these polinated the autos sadly. At least this is now a less likely scenario. I have also increased the light hours to speed my autos on . I think the zkittlez will probably be another month before its finished so its gonna be week13 I reckon before shes done

*Ph in soil seems low added lime let’s see if this fixes the issues. *1 more week and let’s see if clones show Sex. *recovery seems great besides those dificiencies that showed up. *have not watered in a week. Will update tomorrow.

Die letzte Woche ist bei den beiden nicht mehr viel passiert....... Sie haben nur noch ph-angepasstes Wasser bekommen und ansonsten habe ich sie in Ruhe reifen lassen. Dann endlich hat das Verhältnis der Trichome gepasst und ich konnte ernten.....😁 Habe sie in mehrere Teile zerlegt und zum trocknen mit der Dry-Rocket in Zelt gehängt........ Das hat mal wieder ohne Probleme geklappt und ich bin happy wie klebrig und fest die Buds geworden sind.😎 Möchte mich bei allen bedanken, die mein Diarie verfolgt und mir die Daumen gedrückt haben! 😎🙏💪👍😀 Ein Rauchbericht kommt natürlich auch noch 😁

I did a heavy defoliation with the green crack for the first time.. the first 3 pics are pre- and the last 3 pics are post-defoliation. Definitely better air flow now as well as more "tops" being seen. Tomorrow going to do the durban.. update w more pics then.

2. Semaines sans publie

Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.

Guten Tag zusammen, Wir sind in Woche 4 der Blütephase angekommen. Bisher läuft es ganz gut. Die Blütenbildung ist voll im gange und so sollte es auch sein, denn nach dem Entlauben letzter Woche galt ihre ganze Konzentration nämlich darauf. Makro und Mikronährstoffe sind sehr gefragt. Wir versuchen einmal am Tag, ca.1 Liter Nährstofflösung in den Topf zu geben. Aber es gibt auch Tage bzw. eher Wochenenden, wo sie mal etwas auf Diät sind da wir nicht Vorort sind xD Bisher haben wir dort aber trotz allem, zusammen eine super gute Chemie entwickelt. Ansonsten zur re vege, die obigen Blätter sind schon dreiblattfinger. Jüngere Blätter beginnen sich zu Rollen was ein gutes Zeichen ist. Farblich gesehen und gesundheitlich passt es bei ihr aber auch. Dennoch haben wir den Haupttrieb getoppt, da es zu viel Masse für das kleine 60x 60x 120 cm Zelt gab. Somit auch nochmal ein wenig Schimmel gefahr vermieden. Ja ansonsten wünschen wir allen Growmies eine mega und erfolgreiche Woche! The seedling had a solid first week. There was misting only when the soil was dry. True leaves showed up right on schedule, stretch stayed reasonable, and by the end of the week the plant was clearly established ~3+ inches with no major stress signals. A few light-distance tweaks and humidity adjustments but overall a successful seedling phase, good foundation set!! Until next week!
