Flushing using 10L of water with Flawless finish- I'll be using this every other flush. , getting 50% run off, I can't measure ppm, I have ordered the tool to start learning this way also. I haven't measured run off ppms before so will be interesting to see. Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Doggo update Couple vids sprinkled in here. Love doing slo-mo with frisbee throws and treats catching in their mouth. Slo Mo vids didn’t upload slo mo so I had to go thru and edit them and screen record it just to get them in slow mo on the site but they’re worth it Dukes ear has been bugging him and so he pins it down sometimes with the other ear straight up and he looks goofy as hell.

So the girls are doing welll, water change and nutrient top up. Girls were looking a bit light green. But less is more, you can always add nutrients but can't really take away. Just a rule i like to go by. For some reason one of the girls overnight just turned bad/and a bit crispy like.. she's still trying to flower so ill see whats up. I'm putting it down to genetics as the other two are fine and I've been giving them all the same treatment.. if anyone knows do drop a comment. Other than that all is going great, ill be adding a new spider farmer sf2000 to the mix for some bigger buds hopefully.. so i will have some good coverage. Week 8, Things smell heavy🤤 Watered NL's 2L with 0.5ml/L Bloom and 3ml/L Topmax. Sb1 got 2L with 0.5ml/L AlgAMix, 0.5ml/L Bloom and 0.3ml/L Grow. Sb2 got 1.5L same Bloom and AlgAMix. (Day 50) Checked NL 1, give her about 6 days to harvest. Ph was to low on her, did too much Training and bad Environment. Learnd very much, thank you little buddy Waterd NL's 1.5L Water (PH 6.5) Sb got also 1.5L but with 0.5ml/L alg and topmax ( Day 52) very worried about SB 2 Flushed her today, should do this earlyer runoff ph was about 5 Sticky Beast back on track lets call her 👌‍♂️ NL'S trichomes getting more milky, not so far from yielding✂️ (Day 56) gave both Northern lights 1500ml and Sticky beast#1 1000ml Water. 24/05/2023 - 78 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed🌱 Tenth week of my Jack Herer 🌿🌾🌲 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish - 2ml - I rinse the plants two weeks before harvesting so that they have a clean taste and smell 😋👃🌴 -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Lights: I use a Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light for vegetation and flowering use 💡💡 Training: No training is needed this week In general: As I already wrote, Jack did not go well for me this round. I still don't know what caused the burnt leaves. Whether it was a small watering and high heat, or a bad reaction to nutrients. The pH of the soil was fine. 1st week out of the veg tent, post 1st defoliation. I like to do all my major training in Veg to prevent further stress in flower. I cut all lower fan leaves off and any unnecessary bud sights (ones that I know will not get any light) - Keep in mind these bitches STRETCH & grow massive fan leaves which block out almost all the light to lower sections of the plant. So you will have to remove leaves, how many is up to your preferred method.

You've to have everything going strong and no mess ups to give you a higher chance of getting purple. Even, then you may not get it. But, color of fan leafs has never really been important, nor will it ever be. I do have the temperatures to help me get purple if I want. But, asl I do so many grows at the same time. I keep an even temperature as much as I can throughout the entire crop. 19-22c atm that is. My drying room i can reach 10c at the moment. That will come up to 19c by April. (At this stage I should have my winter crop all dried) This is my last plant to start for this crop. I'm pushing it to the max this year. I've many plants. A few I plan to grow big. But 70% will be average grows which I'll be happy once they hit or go by 40g per plant. She has between 15-19% THC.. not normally a preference for myself. I like much stronger phenos. But, I had to give this strain a go. I'm getting round to the classics. As this is more or less what I grew up on as a teen. So, looking forward to tasting this baby. Edit After 30+hrs. Seed was placed on wet substrate that was soaked in 1L of Pure Zym.& Power Roots. After placing the seed i then added 0.1 of a liter of dry substrate on top of the seed. (Just moist soil) this will lower the risk of damping of completely nearly as this won't need watering for at least 10+ days. 1/5th of BatMix was added to the end of the pot with the rest been filled with Royal Mix, both are fertilised soil. But to get Alga Grow going as its an Organic product you should try get that going early. Just a small amount to kick-start the Organic process which takes longer while using Organic products. Pure zym & PR will help it break down any nutes as she's a seedling after all. So, I hope the soil won't be too hot. So, I'll hold off on any NPK feeds for now or anything else until she's into veg. Just flushing the girls this week, waiting for most trichomes to go cloudy instead of clear. Ive now switched the lights off for 36/48 hours and will harvest in the next couple of days :))

Week 7 of flowering 10/30/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 7 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Last week PH drop happened again a couple of days after the major flush. PH in rootzone is getting lower every day. Runoff still at 10-20%, so no salt buldup, EC same as intake or litttle higher. Flushed again with FloraKleen and watered with TriPart Micro, Grow, Bloom with CalMag. Bought Potassium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate as suggested by "Aqua Man", to buffer coco in the future. ZigkGrow is back in the game😎 Hello to everyone guys. I hope everyone has been growing epic buds since the day I finished my first diary. My first diary went pretty cool. I enjoyed a lot but knowing myself I knew that I had to learn more about growing cannabis to achieve higher levels and be okay with myself. So Zigk after many hours of researching, smoking and having fun came up to this day with this diary. Hope everything goes well and what I've learned will bear fruit in this grow (literally😅) Let's talk a little bit about my setup and the flashy "Automatic-Watering System" to shed some light in the tunnel. I bought a tent 0.40x0.40x1.40cm so we are pretty tight here but I am hoping for a "one and good" plant. I am going to use for lighting the led panel from Spiderfarmer SF-1000, big upgrade compared to the 250w CFL I had back then. I will be using coco coir in a 6lt airpot with high fertigation and a RTW/DTW hydroponic system. I've also got some pretty good meters. HM Digital PH-200 for pH and HM Digital COM-100 for EC. There is also a humidifier and a carbon filter from Airontek with a VKO 105m3/h exhaust fan. So how does the Automatic-Watering System works and how do I achieve high fertigation with that : There is a reservoir (blue box in my case) out of the tent where I keep my nutes mixed with water. Inside the reservoir is an airstone that provides oxygen and a submersible water pump connected to the pipe. The water pump plug is connected to a timer which I set when to run and for how much time. When the pump is on is sending nutes to my plant and I can control the flow of it with a valve. Practically I dont have to water by hand and I can achieve high fertigation which means watering with nutes many times a day. My plan is to water 5 times a day. Now is the time for the big question. Will this work and give me higher and better yields? I am not going to explain the science behind this theory because I want to keep the diary clean and talking about this would need many rows of words. You can search it on internet tho and find many articles. I am not capable of answering with confidence now and we will only be sure by watching the results. So let the time show us and have fun!😄
