Esta semana se aprecia claramente el crecimiento de los cogollos sobre todo en el tronco central. Todos aparentan ser un fenotipo diferente. En concreto 1 de ellas parece que no a generado bastante producción.

Growing at her own pace. Lights are about 40 inches away. Day 4 I realize that my solo cup has tons of holes in it. This means the roots will grow through the cup and when I went to transplant it'd rip the roots. I pulled the cup up and there were only a 3 or so roots sticking out of 60+ holes. When I went to transplant I fucked up and the soil spilled everywhere and she toppled over and got fucked up. I just picked her up pat her down. She responsed by bouncing back and growing even more. So I fed and watered her in. First feeding week 2 day 4. You can see she bounced back. Fed her right after transplant. Bad idea, she needed two more days. Ah well. She's growing.

As you can see, I don't do heavy defoliation on my plants as I think it's not natural to shock them like that. I don't give a flying f@ck about yield. My philosophy is turned towards good flavors before all and I like to follow plants development in more natural way when comes to defoliation. I believe that plant will always adapt and focus on where energy comes from, and in indoor grows we all know that bottoms will get bleachy as we enter late flowering. On the other side, nobody wants mids and small buds, so yes, of course I remove bottoms, but only first few nodes and not in a way of lollipopping or something like that. I'm just trying to be in balance with natural process of plant development at all times. I'm not saying defoliation is wrong, but since I never grow the same cultivar twice, it's way safer to observe their natural behaviour, instead of forcing techniquies other growers are claiming to be "the best". With that being said, my plants are exploding from happiness, as you can see. I got two of more indica leaning phenotypes and two taller - more sativa alike specimens. But all have a distinctive OG structure and smell is getting super intense. It smells diesel and chem like no run before. It's the reason why I'm growing it in the first place. And what better way to try out the true OG than from the original creators of White Fire OG. Yes. If you didn't know Terence and Philip, in collab with Rascal, the real OG's, also known as Payaso and Cannabis Gardener, are behind the legendary OG cross and all the rest are just white labeling this famous cross. Know your genetics, brothers and sisters. There are too many copycats out there, so try to show respect to the origins. Noone can make a patent on a certain cultivar, but we as consumers, need to know who are we going to support in the future. Breeding is art and I like to pay respect to those who actually do the work of breeding. Just look at the Blue Dream for instance. Do we actually know who stands behind this cross and who has the original tissue of this genetics? Ask Google a little bit, dig in, and you'll be shocked. Show respect to those who truly deserve one. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

So far these girls are beginning their push towards early stages of flowering! Each node is slowly developing pistils, new growth & reaching for the light! They've widened quite a bit seeing as both plants are slowly making their way outside the edge of their 6.6 gallon autopots. I'm noticing the increase in water consumption with no signs of new deficiencies at the 1.7EC 5.8ph. I will be increasing the the EC to 2.0 after flowering begins to progress.

This was the week I decided to take a look at my trichomes with about 2-3 weeks left why not see what’s in store for me. And what I saw was some pretty milky stuff with surprisingly some amber to me that just means I’m going to get some good thc levels I’m shooting for at least 22-25% thc wish me luck we are almost there final stretch

Day 42: defoliation and single LST for all plants to get 4 stems each. DOS 3 1 stem broken from topping. The main stems are very thin. I use this week 2 times 3L water with 1.5 ml/L terra vega. The humidity is a bit high because of storm outside. I change light HPS 400W to prepare for next week flo. Day 44: Plants look better, put them to flowering stage under HPS 400 W

Día 28 de cultivo y día de trasplante a maceta de tela de 7l. He preparado un sustrato muy ligero a base de turbas, bocashi de pasto, tierra negra reutilizada y humus de lombriz con mucha perlita, vermiculita y zeolita, también arena de rio para mejorar el drenaje y finalmente 12g de arcilla caolín e Illita para mejorar el intercambio catiónico. Con respecto a los minerales en este cultivo los voy a añadir paulatinamente como aporte en superficie, los Microorganismos se encargarán de disolverlos y de esta manera añadiré el mineral según la etapa de cultivo. La plántula ha llegado con un buen cepellón de raíces, antes del trasplante he añadido auxinas en polvo en superficie, después he regado profusamente con agua de lluvia, miel y Microorganismos De Montaña Activados MMA, de esta manera con el sustrato húmedo el cepellón sale sin desmoronarse, además, la humedad pasará al sustrato circundante al cepellón por capilaridad, finalmente he regado por los bordes de la maceta con 500ml de solución. Como la plántula llegó con un tallo bastante alto, he enterrado parte de él, y para estimular el crecimiento de raíces adventicias he humedecido el tallo y espolvoreado mis auxinas caseras de frijol negro. A partir de ahora esperaré al menos 2 semanas para pasar la planta a floración, tengo curiosidad por ver la evolución de esta semilla polizón que encontré junto a otras tres en los cogollos de mi anterior cosecha.
