Both phenos are looking strong: • Pheno #1 – More advanced, pistil clusters stacking into early budlets, filling her frame with confidence. • Pheno #2 – A little behind, but catching up fast. She may have taken longer to flip (since she germinated later), but she’s now pushing out strong, healthy white hairs that signal the start of her bulking stage. This week’s studio and improvised studio photos capture this perfectly—the transition from “flower set” to flower building. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Simplifying for Strength This week, we made an important nutritional adjustment: • Removed: Aptus All-in-One Liquid & Aptus Top Booster • Kept: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why this change? At this stage, the super soil’s NPK balance (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) is already strong enough to sustain healthy growth and flower formation. Adding the All-in-One Liquid or Top Booster would risk redundancy, too much nutrient overlap can actually slow the plant down, cause salt build-up, or push her into unnecessary stress. By keeping only the boosters and biostimulants, we are: • Supporting flower stacking and density (Power Buds). • Enhancing terpene and resin production (Sugar Royal). • Adding a multi-function bloom enhancer (Green Sensation, famous for its late-flower results). • Maintaining structure, transport, and stress resistance (Regulator). • Keeping calcium and magnesium in check (CalMag Boost). 🌱 Educational takeaway: Week 4 is about controlled nutrition, not force-feeding. Her pistils are now bursting and forming thick clusters, but she still sits a bit behind her sister. This difference is natural: Pheno #2 germinated later and is effectively running on a slightly younger internal clock. The 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 hours off) means she is easing into flower at her own rhythm. 👉 What this means: Both plants are thriving, but don’t expect them to bulk or finish at the same exact time. This staggered development could actually be a gift—two harvest windows, two terpene expressions, one journey. Educational takeaway: Even seeds from the same strain can flower on different schedules. Saturday, 12-02-2022 Plants not looking too bad at all. #1 Is smaller than all others but still looking ok. No visible ill effects remaining from DE treatment on all plants. Rain and cloudy conditions throughout the week have limited my feeding. Was only able to feed today since last week. Mix was runoff rainwater with 10 ml/gallon C AB Beta 3.12 and 7.5 ml/gallon Cytokin. Also foliar sprayed with same mix. Runoff water has not insignificant amount of "sand" from waterproofing membrane applied to roof last week. Need to monitor for effect. I cut back on nutrients to 10ml/gallon because the feeding charts of the nutrient I am copying has 10ml/gallon as being the appropriate heavy feeding rate for this stage of growth. Want to start incorporating humic acid to account for the reduced potassium in my nutrient mix. I noticed what appeared to be whiteflies escaping when I LST'd the two plants. Cotyledons seem to have disease. My IPM plan needs to get going next week. I need to remind myself that this Grow is a true trial for me. When growing other plants in the the past, I have sometimes been too "precious" or cautious or lazy. I have loved to death countless plants. I want to to try new techniques I have never done, feed on reasonable schedule and just live in each moment of the grow. I am binging Dog Whisperer now and one of the biggest things you can learn from that show is the benefits of just living in the moment. Forgetting the past, prepare for but don't stress about the future and just enjoy right now 😄. The plants are too underdeveloped to do the topping techniques I want to try but my urge to just do something on them led me to try LST on the two most developed plants. I was in two minds about this. The guide I am following about LST (https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/the-quadsquad-thread-a-community-for-quadlining.464769/), recommends topping first then training. But again, the urge to just do something to the plants after a week of mentally refining 😅 my techniques was just just too strong. Now that I actually did it I don't feel too bad because I see that nodes 1 and 2 are below my first tie downs so I am interested to see how that will work out. That said, I only have three plants left to grow the "documented way" so I need to control the urge to just act for action's sake without a clear goal from that action. Sunday, 13-02-2022 LST'd plant tops straightening out quickly, less than 24hrs after first tie down.

Nov.8 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.9 - Moved these girls into Vivosun tent under Phlizon 1200w light from a Marz Hydro tent 5x5 with Marz Hydro ts 1000 light. We needed to move these girls to this tent and have our DWC in the bigger tent so the DWC plants don’t get too hot at the bottom *once girls were transported to new tent the leaves turned to curl and lift upwards, the light is on veg and is 24” high Nov.10 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.10 - Decided we don’t like the blurple light and took one of our Mars Hydro lights from our big tent and switched it Nov.11 - Watered each plant, 500mL, 1mL of each nutrient. Our girls drank soo fast so we are bumping it up a bit Nov.12 - Our girl #1’s leaves are a little droopy and are looking a bit weird in some spots (darker green and almost wrinkled). Our girl #2 though is going great and we started some LST training on her today. Let her growww Nov.14 - Started our girl #1 on LST her leaves are much happier now! Ohhh boy #2 is sprouting so nice she’s starting to fill out so well and she just blossomed once we started LST, she was facing upwards in less than 24h!! Nov.15 - Our girls are thriving so I wanted to FIM #2 and my boyfriend wanted to Top girl #1 Let’s see how these girls groooww Nov.15 - Watered each girl 250mL and 0.25 mL of each nutrient we are going to water them just enough to soak into the ground every day for them to soak up as much nutrients and drink as possible without over watering.

Added first time molasses during feeding will be doing it for last 3 weeks before flush. For couple plants with redish leaves stems gave epsom salt. Thinking to give it to all of them. To me they look too skinny, but its aftermath of strech i quess ... Would love to have one more hlg 240 ...

everything turned out very well :) and it's only with 50w and with 40x40cm space :) It was an interesting journey with her, a slightly different cultivation and old mistakes were discovered :) the flowers are not dense, but they are really very, very sticky :) I'm happy:)

She grew another 17cm this week! 145cm tall!!!!!!!!! She is totally out of headroom now, her top cola is through the lights and getting close to the roof of the tent 😅 Fastbuds do say it can reach 1.4M... 😁 It's accurate, she is a MONSTER of a plant. This week I have done a quick video showing the result of my experiment a few weeks ago where I FIMed a couple of side branches. Take a look 😃 Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 powder mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. I still had some spots on leaves, but look like the calmag is doing the job. New leaves look better for now. It smell stronger, and plants are drinking a bit more now. Not sure, but i think no more than 3 weeks b4 harvesting HulkBerry 1 and the cookies gelato familly. Royal Bluematic 1 seems to take more time, but is growing well. HulkBerry 2 and mostly Royal Bluematic 2 are really late and weak compared to the others.

They are bulking up a bit more. Still nice and bushy both, still think both will be female. Finally, colours are getting greener and they are filling out nicely. Last couple of weeks before harvest, when my tent is filled to the edges on all sides and the plants can only go up is the moment I will hit the switch to 12/ 12. Blue Dream Auto, Fastbuds, I will train this one very aggressively, and test a new ripening blend I have been developing with the help of @GrowerAR. I will not be using any organics or biological supplements this run, so no GHE Diamond Nectar, Pro Roots, Pro Bloom, only mineral based fertilizers, Tri-Part Flora Series, Cal Mag, Armor Si, Mineral Magic etc. This is a very old seed, but has been in the refrigerator with the rest of my collection since I purchased it. Started dry seed in wet Root Riot on 17-08-2022 Day 1 a. dry blue dream seed is in Root Riot branded root plug with PH 5.5 water on it. b. I will add 5-10ml to the root riot 2 times per day Day 3 a. first signs of the plant are visible b. she may be up tomorrow!! Day 4 - video a. she is in the middle of rising when I took first photo b. lights have been 24/7, temperature in tent is 27 degrees right now c. she is up! wow! 56 hours from dry seed we have a plant! d. in the open with micro humidifier providing nice RH. e. video uploaded Day 5 - hello world a. she is up, and looking nice and strong b. she still gets 24 hrs of light, I will change to the schedule soon. Day 6 - she is up and strong! a. the seedling has solidified its color, and its new first leaves are very strong b. grew 3x overnight, great little seedling c. top water rocks daily Day 7 a. she is vigorous, getting tall b. topped up the rest of the Expanded clay, the stem has about 3cm of coverage now for new roots

Little late on the upload of the diary. She has made day 56 with no real issues. Minor leaf damage from a few pests. The weather has been mostly sunny with 2 days of rain. Purple hues are starting to show up in the buds!😍

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

One more nice week. Defoliating and trimming by cat 🤣. About nutrients in comments, its my first time and plagron do fine i think, i have zero problems.

Week 8 of Flower Lowering Temps/RH, lower CO2 concentration, lowering nutrient concentration, & lower light intensity to mimic fall conditions. Flushing is right around the corner. Day 50 of Flower Temp./RH Daytime:75F/45%RH Nighttime:60F/55%RH Day 53 of Flower Today, I performed a reservoir change for Pheno’s 1 & 2. I lowered the ppm to 400 & the pH is set to 5.8. The temperature of the nutrient solution in my DWCs is lowered because I have been inserting frozen 16 oz. water bottles in order to mimic fall temps. The temperature fluctuates, but it is consistently lower than without the frozen bottles. Day 55 Final flush using GH Florakleen. New LED Floraflex 700 watt.

Cactus Candy Berry wächst munter vor sich hin. Nach dem Toppen hat sie innerhalb weniger Tage die Stachelproduktion verdoppelt. Ich mache es mir mit einer Tasse Tee auf dem Balkon gemütlich und dampfe ein paar Blüten von meiner Ernte aus dem Sommer. Schaue nach CBD Blüten auf GD und überlege welche Strains in meinen ersten Indoor Garten kommen. Noch ist das Zelt nicht vollständig. Aber Ende Dezember will ich spätestens starten, es wird ein CBD grow werden.
