12/25/2023-Germination Day 1
Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter.
I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.

Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan.

She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly.

Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water..

Today i checked the trichomes and they are all milky.
I will remove all the large fanleaves and i will let them stay in the dark for 48 hours before i will chop them down.

I ran into problems in the beginning but now I’m seeing my mistakes witch is a good thing because that means I’m learning… RDWC is definitely different then soil but I’m loving it. I also see now that I need to turn the center pot lids around so my plants aren’t going under the trellis support pole. Rookie mistakes.

6/30 I messed up and put 8 days last week so I'll have tp do a six day week to get back on schedule. Pounded rain last night I guess. Very intense but very brief. As you can see in the video the plants are found great. A few have revegged so I'll need to defoliate the middle. I could make a TON of clones but it's pretty late for that. I might clone a couple outstanding plants to keep the genetics. Still seeing some pillar damage. Might do bt tonight. I'll keep this updated.
7/1 Super hot yesterday. Reached 90°. We are getting SOME rain today and thunder showers day after tomorrow. Bags still had some heft and everything looked good. I went back aroundcand found about half were at the point of needing water. He'll, they probably all did. My watering can is 2 gallons not 1.5 as advertised. So that means I used 5 gallons on the garden (not watering the 50) focusing the more water on the lightest bags. That tenth planet I'm seeing more septoria like leaves. This makes enough for me to be fairly positive ill need to treat it. I have plant doctor but I think copper works better. I also see more pillar damage so I've gotta apply something. I also need to lst more and I keep to clean put the interior of the plants so they don't get pm.
EDIT: IT WAS 80° and no rain at 6:30. Humidity close to 100% bit plants look AMAZING! I'm hoping this may be my best year yet! I won't grow a bigger plant than tjat blue cheese in the 50 but so far everything is looking good. I may add some nutes to the pink kush in the 50 due to tje slightly less green color. I assume it's just because the other soil is all New amd this was a mix. I defoliated lightly to prevent pm but I have more to do. I just wanted to get a video of the girls looking good.
7/2 82° at 9am. Glad I decided to water even thoughvi watered yesterday. I need to up my volume. Thirty degree temp swings don't help much either. I said I used 4 gals but I used 5. I had one phed already. I'm hoping this will be one of my best years. IT looks like it! I won't have that MONSTER blue cheese in the 50. It was the smallest plant anyway and shows the difference between using NEW soil and mixing old soil WITH new soil. It's a much lighter green. Still need to apply bt and do a little more defoliation.

This lady is all flowers and frost now. No more stretching so I haven't needed to do any more bending. Terrific canopy out of this lady. Man the trichomes and bud structre are golden! I'm happy as a pig in shit with her.
I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

After a lot of research I realized that my plant needs more food. I increased the PPM to 700PPM and plant seems to love it.
Also I started spraying with Neem Oil and Copper Fungicide since I noticed some rust on the leaves.
Also this week I added Roots Accelerator.

Who am i ?
until last november i have always grown hydro for a little over 11 years. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / co2 / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. I am happy that after 11 years I have found growdiaries and that I have met you my friends.Greetings MonyetDiablero.

This has been such an incredible learning experience, back in December a friend and I got bored and decided to build a tent with some scraps in my garage and a single CFL in a reptile heat lamp 🤦♂️and try and grow the seeds I had been sitting on for a few years. The cfl broke almost immediately and poor little lato spent the first few days of her life in the dark waiting for a cheap led from Amazon. At the beginning of this grow we had no idea what we were doing and honestly no faith we could grow anything but mid bud but it was just abt the experience. Both of us spent most of our days researching and learning about cannabis and organic growing. We ended up deciding on a small company called Dragonfly earth medicine and used their full line of bacteria based nutes/supplements (radiant green, fat flowers, brilliant black, lush roots and natural Mystik) to make teas with worm castings and molasses. I wet trimmed a couple nugs just to see what I prefer seeing as I’ve never done this before. Got everything hung up in her tent with the exhaust fan on the lowest setting. Hopefully everything goes well. I know I started this diary late but thank you guys for all the support if you have any questions or feel like I’m missing anything feel free to reach out.

•Morning of day 19, ¾ through week 3.
Did a light defol on both ladies. I gotta say I'm a big fan of Big Bud by Seedstockers! This girl is going to be exactly what her name is. •Morning of day 15, start of week 3.
°Big bud is 32" in diameter after more LST. And 37"tall (soil to top). Less stretching and more compacting of nodes. Very pleased! She's feeding at full strength and looking like she might want more. Very vigorous growth.
°Agent Orange. 30" in diameter after LST. plant did NOT respond well to LST. AND IS 36½" tall (soil to top). Also showed signs of nutrient burn. Will only feed half strength every 3rd watering.

It seems like the plants have reached their Peak THC some of lower parts do need to mature more. It's highly improbable that will be ready because that light cannot penetrate that deep down they look very beautiful dark green with a lot of frost all over it . I will allow a few more days to continue until I see little bit of Amber on those heads . Because all the plans in my tent grow so tall the lower part will not develop very well and the lack of space doesn't help much it is a 3 by 3 ×8 feets. But I think I found a way around it. will trying to implement that on the next grow.

I use RO water and adjust it with calcium and magnesium until I reach an EC between 0.3 and 0.4.

Spiders has taken over the pot of plant C but i guess they will keep the insects away, so they welcome. Pictures from day 42. I do not think they will be ready in one month but we will see. How long do you think they have left?
Im actually going on holiday in July so its a bit of a dilemma for me whether to harvest before or after and hope for rain in the 2 weeks i will be gone. Any ideas would be helpful!

Great strain, would recommend.
Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas.
Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

2020-07-21 (Day 62)
This monster is growing about 10” a week. No sign of flowering yet but this thing is just insanely massive. You can see from the video that she dwarfs my other Autos that are done in about a week or so. She lost a large lower limb due to my murderous cucumbers 🥒. They climber the branch and broke her when I was away for a couple days. Stay tuned, hopefully flowering starts soon!
