I’m back! So long story short on my previous grows I was trying way to hard and couldn’t keep up with all the strains. Life got ridiculously busy and well here I am again. This Sunet sherbet sprouted almost immediately and has been growing will in my veg. room. I’ve ordered a Fluence Bioengineering Spydrx light and will be flowering under it. Super easy so far as it always is in veg. I also am now using Cyco nutrients in place of my previous Fox farms. I found that the added salts in Fox farms caused me too many problems and will be watching this grow closely to see how it compares.
My watering schedule will be as follows:
Cyco nutrients Day 1
RO Water Day 2
Nothing Day 3
Compost Tea Day 4
RO Water Day 5
Nothing Day 6
This week has gone great! At the beginning of the week we flushed the remaining Fox farm nutrients we had been using before with Sledgehammer. After we treated with an organic compost tea brewed by our local hydroponic shop. We started with the Cyco Platinum Series this week. It’s still a bit early to tell but we will see how this nutrient line performs. I am very optimistic. As you may be able to tell I have a reservoir with coco coir mix on top with a drip irrigation system. I’m going to be trying out this system and an ebb and flow system in the upcoming weeks. I’m looking to maximize quality and quantity and believe these two system offer some of the best results. We look forward to starting that project! As for the lady she is looking extremely healthy. She is recovering well from being topped and lst. We’re going to let her grow up a bit now and stretch her out across the first trellis. My experience says this should be in 2-3 weeks and the. We will let her grow up through the second trellis. All in all I believe I’m looking at a 7-10 week veg. My goal is to shoot for a minimum of 1.3lbs from one plant. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Leave a comment if you have any questions or if you have any suggestions! Please check out my Instagram. Link in my Bio. Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thanx 👍
Well it’s been another average week. I topped once more and did a slight defoliation. She bounced right back happy as can be. She started showing signs of sex this week and well, IT’S A GIRL! The clone I took from her 2 weeks ago has finally started to show roots. It took it a bit longer than I had hoped and it’s showing some deficiencies, but we will let it root out a bit more and then plant her into a pot. I plan on using some mycorrhiza when I transplant it into its new home to help stimulate fast root growth. The temperatures in both tents were getting a bit hard to control and I needed to have better control over both tents individually. I originally had them daisy chain ventilated together and now I am using 3 fans with a Y connection to individually control their climates. We have added a CO2 bag to help increase growth in the vegitative tent. This plant loves to be low stress trained. I have new branching popping up everywhere. I got rid of the lower foliage to help it stretch out to the trellis. Soon I will spread it out across the trellis and open it up some more so that all of the branching is receiving more light. I have to say so far I’m highly impressed with this light. Fluence Bioengineering’s customer support has been amazing and I’ve been staying in contact with them. They provide knowledge and support for not only commercial grows but also home hobbiest. Their support team offers guidance to help their lights preform at their best and increase yield. According to them the potential yield I can achieve under this light is anywhere between 1-1.8lbs. I’ve also seen grows with the same light come out to 2.2lbs. That comes out to 2.98g per watt. All in all everything’s going great so far. I’ve cut back my feed from every 4 days to once per week. I haven’t seen any signs of nutrient burn but I would rather be safe than sorry. The Cyco nutrient line has been one of the most stable nutrient lines I’ve used and I am also highly impressed with its results. I am giving away an Apollo Horticulture grow tent, a Bestva 1200w LED grow light, a 5 pack of seeds from royal queen seeds and KindBudz merchandise. Thanks for stopping by keep growing those KindBudz!
Well there has been some excellent growth this week. I tested my runoff water and holy crap I’m glad I did. The runoff tested at 2300ppm. I flushed with a couple of gallons and will continue to water with plain Ph’d RO water until it drops down to around 1100ppm. Luckily since I am supplementing CO2 and have an intense light there has been no signs of nutrient burn or nutrient lockout on the plant. This plant loves to feed if the environmental factors are optimal. It has made a push through the trellis and I’ve started to SCROG it. I am aiming to fill I. The entire 4x4 area with this one plant for this run so I would say the are still several weeks to go. Don’t forget to check out my giveaway on Instagram @kind_budz_crops. I’m giving away a brand new Apollo Horticulture Tent, a Bestva 1200w reflector series and seeds by RQS.
A lot of growth this week after the heavy defoliation. I think at this rate I will only need to veg out for a few more weeks. I’m waiting until it gets to just below the upper trellis before I make the switch. My goal is to completely fill out this 4x4 tent with just the one plant. I believe I should be able to yield around 1-2lbs. That is at least my goal. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram: @ kind_budz_crops
Took 2 clones from my sunset sherbet this week towards the end of the week. There continues to be explosive growth with this plant. I plan on switching to flower in a month or so and we will find out how she really performs.
Forgot to water these ladies for a couple of days but after a heavy watering and a good feeding they perked right back up. I have 2 flower tents running with sunset sherbet right now. Regardless of wether I think they are ready or not I will be switching them to flower in 3 more weeks. Can’t wait to see how these ladies flower!
This was the most beautiful grow I have done to date. There were a few mistakes I made along the way, like not defoliating enough and some over topping but I still highly impressed with the results. Looking forward to growing this again.
