12/25/2023-Germination Day 1
Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter.
I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.

Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan.

She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!!

Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water..

This is 10 days after the first video in week one, 2 days since running the co2 and they started to take off in the 5x9. BTW the floraflex nute dosages are grams per gallon since its dry. ALSO notice the no calmag, have seen multiple growers using floraflex with zero calmag and ZERO ISSUES they have even told me personally that they seem to have healthier plants without the calmag which is wild to me (another reason to switch to floraflex). The 4x8 were just transplanted within the past 3 days, no co2 yet. Obviously isn't perfect I wish I had everything at the same exact stage but I had an issue with some of the clones and couldn't wait to start them over so I just transplanted some mothers I had hanging around in solo cups from a few runs ago. The small ones are the new clone strains cherry kush mints frosted apricots and Platinum Gushers. Might have some issues feeding everything evenly as the smaller ones won't be eating as much as soon as the rest. Maybe I'll stop the co2 in the 5x9 and only run in 4x8 to get everything to even out as much as possible before the flip. Next run I'll have to be more organized and prepared but I'm hopeful I can pull off some decent results on this one. The co2 in the tents is a little tricky, would like to hear how some other growers run theirs. Constant exhaust on lowest setting? Exhaust on a timer? No exhaust? Today I'm trying no exhaust at all and see what happens like a sealed room essentially but im thinking of having the exhaust on a timer to run every 2 hours for 15 mins just to refresh the air or every hour for about 5 mins. Got alot of cleanup left to do so don't mind the God damn mess mf.

Agregamos tarantula el 24 de octubre y al día siguiente 25 de oct, retiramos esa agua por acumulación de bacterias. Misma nutrición sin Tarántula.

Alright, these ladies are mid way through week 7 day 52 of bud. Just 3 days ago i started the flush stage for these plants even tho I’ve heard 1000x that it’s not necessary for organic gardens. I still do it just because. So these ladies got fed 2gal each of plain PH corrected water. With no sugars of any kind added. They all seem to be flushing out very well with most of their leafs turning yellow with purple on the tips. If you see any crumpled leafs it’s from last week when I noticed my soil PH had drifted to high. So I’ve been trying to correct it but these ladies are just about done so I’m not to worried. It looks like we got 1 week left on the Train Wreck and maybe 2 weeks on the OG and the Melato. The Train Wreck actually looks ready to chop down now but when I got up close with a jewel scope I saw that her trichome development is only at 50% cloudy and 47% clear with maybe around 3% amber. So I’m sure she will be ready by the day 58 mark but the OG and the Melato will probably go to around day 65. Anyways thanks for checking out the garden. be sure to check in on next weeks update when I harvest the Train Wreck🤙

So the green gelato is doing fine inside shes kinda starting to turn purplish red on some parts of her buds.
The 2 Lemon Cherrys are still outside Im starting to lose hope for the 2 girls but fck it hope will still get smth out.

Sooo I think that the gelato is going to get chopped down in the next 2-3 weeks.
The 2 Lemon Cherrys aint getting any where with the weather atm so I think im just gone give them a few more weeks and hopefully this strain will be good enough for a bit of rosin or IceOLator

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

Week 12 Started on June 19, 2022
Finally recovered and lots and lots of defoliation happened, I am talking a compressed ball of leaves and stems the size of a softball.
That means I got rid of most the weight below the buds, snipped the buds I didn't want to see straggling, and lollipopped colas -- left a few leaves on. Took a few clones to see what happens.
She is doing well, more pics soon. I cleaned the reservoir again, fresh water, drained the autopot and made sure my Ph is 6.3 to 6.7
Adding weak calmag+ to deter the iron lockout I think I saw in early week 11, figuring out dosing now, might need a bit more.
Not a ton of nutes added as the plant is progressing well, added a tiny amount of MOAB, also just thinking my single COB flower light is gonna be too weak on its own. We'll see it's early yet. Might need to turn on the supplemental light next week, old school HPS 150 Watt on its last grow. The heat will drive the humidity way way down, and that will be a good thing, just gotta crank the fans on high and no looking back after that. That will be 400 watts in a 3x3 -- HPS is hot as can be.

I worry about the size right now on day 18 of flower, not that big and no sugary stuff yet, I think I need to let her just grow and perhaps add just a bit more flower nutes, but I will wait until she fills in just a bit more, I seriously took off SO MUCH, but last grow I should have taken more off than I did, I was was super aggressive, I don't want larf.

she actually went for just about 10 whole weeks of flower. I’m chopping her at 69 days, as I write this, but I will post relevant photos in a harvest update after it’s dried and weighed.
I watered with only distilled since the last update, and starved her of water and RH in hopes of increasing last minute the resin and trichomes production. Flushed with more distilled and after a few more days turned the lights off for two days of darkness. The next update will have the result.

old schools looking beautiful covered in thc she just sparkles and her scent is great very berryish with a good earthy tone shes packed for sure all colas are nice fat and sticky I'm looking forward to this one I always like ripper strains and this ones no exception so far . she will be hung for up to 10 days then jarred back with the harvest report for this beauty asap thanks for reading happy growing guys

I thought the plants would grow a bit faster, but I also pruned a lot of shoots. The root mass is now increasing rapidly on both plants, and this time they're staying white and healthy. I think the light penetration into the reservoir is lower, the oxygen supply is better thanks to the new air pump, and the Athena Cleanse from the start is also helping. Now I need to figure out the best power setting for the new lamp and the exact setting for the sweet spot. The temperatures should finally rise, so I can soon do without the radiators. It's still much too cold in the basement.
I am always grateful for advice and tips from experienced growers. 😉
Especially growers with experience using Athena: is IPW worth it ?

Damn. Another stupid accident caused trouble. 😡😡 One of the green radiators rolled over to the Sour Fraise and burned the stem of the plant. All the bark is gone all the way around.
I cut the plant above the burned area, treated the stem with Clonex gel, and placed it in a rockwool cube soaked in a cloning mixture according to the Athena scheme.
Let's hope it works.

They loving life so far, bushy and short, topped her and removed some of the big fan leaves.
Love this strain👌🏼, didn't face any issues so far since it's my first grow.
Last week before sending them to flowering, trying to give them some shape, making sure all leaves getting enough light, looking so healthy.

The slow one has turned the corner and starting to grow well now. 👍
I foliar fed them with big bloom and fulvic acid, and gave them a little drink of water with humic acid, endoboost, and molasses.

I gave them their first full-strength dose of nutes today and foliar fed again...hang on to your hats!🤠👍
4/22:
I FIM'd both of them today and gave them about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid.
Later, I rinsed off the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow.
4/23:
Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲
Tomorrow I'll spray them down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins..they'll start flowering soon and I want them hitting their stretch with major vigor.👈
4/24:
I did a foliar application of Harpin proteins and fed them with about 1/4-gallon each. They are both showing sex parts now 😊
I removed all the cool white and blue light, and turned on the 3rd set of QB's and bud boosters so they will get their stretch on-
I also reduced their photoperiod to 20 hours so they can start getting some beauty sleep.
4/25:
Didn't have much time today, but I looked in on them..sexy little bitches..👈
It's getting crowded in here, so I'll remove all the photos (clones and seedlings) tomorrow.

Seems that not much happened during the last week. Only the comeback of the damn fungus gnats..H2O2 treatment....again.
Switched to Athena Fade for the last two week phase.
Let's see if the buds swell a bit more. I'm not expecting much in terms of quantity from this grow, unfortunately. But I'm expecting quality. The smell in the tent (especially from Sour Fraise) is simply divine. And there's way much more frost then last time. I'm really excited how the Sour Fraise will taste after drying and curing.

The leaves are getting darker and the smell is becoming more intense. Unfortunately, they're all just small nuggets. I'll give the plants about 10 more days before harvesting.
