Here are week two looking lovely

Jungle is growing on top of my washing machine! On the last day of week 6 I lowered lights to 35cm from canopy, this week I’m going to monitor that number and adjust as necessary because the plant is still in stretching + bud setting phase. I’m feeding with high N+mag and I’ll continue until growth slows down, than I’ll switch to megacrop 2parts. I expect that to happen end of this week, 10 days max. Day 42 - changed the fan Day 44 - finally installed the blumat auto irrigation system. It wasn’t that easy since branches are really near the substrate but at least I had the carrot already placed so I was able to do it. High frequency fertigation on coco is a must, you can’t take advantage on coco great qualities watering 1 or 2 times a day. My system has 5 drippers placed in a Pac-Man shape, more or less. Day 45 - This is an important day since it marks the halfway point of this crop, based on my previous results. Coincidentally I’ve also spotted few small trichomes on a leaf, I guess the plant is now ready to build up mass and flavors. I did a minor defoliation to open up the inner canopy and to get rid of some plant’s nitrogen reserve. I prepared 20L of my bloom solution and mixed that with the veg solution in the reservoir. For a week I’m going to use this transitional feeding. Lots of sulfur, seems to be on a volcano 🤣 Day 46 - spotted a minor P deficiency. There is probably too much calcium in my solution that is antagonizing P absorption. I mixed another batch, this is the ppm breakdown N 100 P 100 K 280 Mg 85 Ca 150 Before I had P 40 and Ca ~190, my tap water has 80ppm of Ca that is already counted it. I’ll keep this value for a couple of weeks than I’ll lower everything except K. (Edit from the future - K is too high) Day 47 - plant looks happy and bigger, it drunk 3+ liters yesterday. There is no need for humidifier anymore so I’m getting rid of it. Temperature is 30-32C with 50-60% humidity. Day 48 - buds are swelling, some branches are already showing the spiral structure. Plant drunk 5 liters yesterday, impressive.

Ummm... get Advanced Nutrients. The amazing difference is differently amazing. I can't say anything bad about GHE, it's just insanely better than over here on the Advanced Nutrient side of things. Noticeable differences in 3 days. If you have any questions, send me a message. I've done a ton of research on Advanced Nutrients and can basically tell you "what's what" in comparison to GHE and save you a couple bucks. Knowledge is power, friends! I'm still using my GHE Diamond Nectar in-place of Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin until the bottle is gone. It's all humic acid, no big deal. I'll change to AN when I'm done. My buds are purple. Never in a million years would I have guessed I got purple genetics on my first grow. We'll see if they stay around! Defoliation: Only larger fan leaves to open canopy. Day 46 - 8/12: We had a huge storm that did not knock our power out, luckily. All of the girls are thriving and tomorrow I receive the remaining nutrients. They are going fucking bananas. Temps are 77s and humidity is 45-55. Perfect. Day 47 - 8/13: Holy fuck.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 today and she’s stacking up beautifully and already layered with frost. I really don’t want to do much defoliating right now but it’s looking like she might need a little bit soon but will just keep everything as tucked as I can. She got 2 gallons of plain water today and will get a dose of nutrients next feeding. Day 59 - Looks like feeding her a bit more and stronger seems to of helped cause the leaves color seems to be much better now and not noticing any new yellowing, so hopefully the deficiency is fixed. Other than that, her flowers are stacking beautifully and she’ll probably need some water in another day or two. Day 60 - Everything is going good overall still and no more real yellowing of the leaves. She’ll be ready for some water and nutes tomorrow. Day 61 - All still looks good with this girl and she was definitely ready for some water. Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. Day 62 - All is well with this girl and enjoy watching the flowers stack up on her. Nothing much going on with her so just took her out for updated pictures and tucked the leaves when I put her back in the tent, might do a light defoliating in a couple days. Day 63 - The end of week 9 and though she’s got a couple weeks left, she’s finishing up pretty quickly. All kinds of frost on her and buds are getting nice and plump. She’s good on water and should be for another couple of days. Might do a little defoliating on watering day as well.

That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. Can see the clear difference between plant types. Hulkberry going that typical dark purple green colour which is hard to specifically identify but comes through with a great hue! Smells EXACTLY like berries. Skunks infamous smell is really coming out. Nice!

5 more weeks left on the schedule for the veg cycle, growth has been amazing with no signs of stress. I am also using recharge at every watering at (1/4) strength.

I'm like 5 days late with this update so I have had to pin videos that I took the same week while I was communicating with TRYHARD so ignore any dialogue that's out of context they aren't diary logs they are simply correspondence between myself And TRY, oh and sorry about my language I'm common as muck me. The pictures are just random pics I took that week as oppose to my usual more organised method but hey ho I'll do a more tidy job next week. The week went swimmingly barring some nitrogen deff on the lowers which I initially put down to the hot weather drying the pots too quickly and causing nute lockout with the salt buildup so I flushed then gave them a nice feed after they dried the pot at which point I noticed the most heavily afflicted by the N deff were also the quickest drinkers and had lower EC on the runoff so I have been giving them a slightly stronger feed than the others and it seems to have solved everything so I'm happy with that. Bud development is nice, frost is nice, terps are through the roof right now..... Zkittlez ones are really stinking of lime and candy bubblegum Punch ones are stinking berry berry nice! Flowering period has started very very happy with the result of the LST too the LST didn't cause any stress size of plant is good ec is at 1.35, i started adding molasses for the friendly bacteria I added some pictures of the cat for the Artsy stoners competition featuring my B-class Toyger (designercat).

Loved growing this. Sang its praises rhe whole way through because it just looked like a beast. I like the pretty Cali strains but I always find the yields are close to frustrating for abilities not up up there. Overall the strain helped me take chances that paid off so I really enjoyed it. Will grow again. Threnneighbors should smell this on the balcony this summer 😂💚🙏🏼

This is the last week of the Vegetation stage. At the beginning of the week they were trimmed to allow light to penetrate the canopy. Then at the end of the week they were fed a nutrient tea made from Gonzo Farms - GROW. On the last day the lights were set to a 12/12 schedule to induce flowering. Now, I will keep a close eye on them to spot the males. Once flowering begins, the males will grow "bananas". Then, those plants will be removed from the grow. 😜 Stay tuned for the Flowering stage!
