Great week, harvested the Candy Kushs and the remaining girls are doing really well. I've stopped feeding them and just giving water now as I am away for a few weeks and wanted to keep it simple for my partner who is looking after them while I am away. The fastberry can probably be harvested already but decided to leave her longer and hopefully give buds more time to fatten up. The Bubble Kush is looking amazing and the buds are growing and gaps between buds getting smaller, she looks like she can do with a few more weeks, so she'll be perfect when I am back hopefully. This will be my last update until then probably.

Added top funnel watering wick, most insects/bugs use damp topsoil 1-2" to reproduce. This uses gravity, 👊👊👊fiber wicks water, and spreads evenly, to keep moisture under the topsoil out of the reach of bugs. Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Minulý týden jsem nestihl svou týdenní aktualizaci než jsem odcestoval. To ale nevadí protože rozdíl za poslední 2 týdny není tak veliký . Na začátku 14. týdne dostaly naposledy čaj od bio tabs. Nyní už jen čekám na sklizeň 🙂 možná jim seberu velké listy aby lépe dozrály (zatím se rozhoduji).

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

As of March 27, Day 7 of the grow, the seedling is doing alright but showing minor cal-mag deficiency. I will be doing a little cal-mag foliar spraying to help get through this delicate period. I turned on my HLG-100v2 light and have the seedling vegging under a 20/4 hour light schedule. I have transitioned up to .8EC as increasing the cal-mag in the coco is important after a week of low EC fertigation. I maintain a 5 gallon nutrient reservoir with an air stone and H202 to keep it sterile, and have a pump to automatically water 3 times a day for 20 second intervals. March 29, Day 9: I am still trying to correct the minor cal-mag issues, but the Euforia is still growing at a pretty good speed so I am not too worried. March 30, Day 10: running a humidifier under a clear dome to get the RH up for the seedling.

This smoke absolutely stunned me first this was a clone sent to me from California to Virginia in the mail in the middle of winter didn't think it was gna make it but she prevailed and turned out to be so gassy and funky with a zing and it jus lays you down but puts you in a good mood too not a groggy couch lock but a good couch lock lol tastes like candy on the exhale nugs are super dense and the cure and dry came out perfect she was definitely a box

The thrips are gone. It is taking more nutrients it’s more hungry these days still cutting off lots of defoliation lots of buds growing in so I’m having to keep her close eye and make sure I take out anything that’s not worth spending energy on buds are getting huge but it’s not growing any taller it’s going to be a short stocky plan

Popped these seeds on Monday (30/03/20). Germination Method: Soaked seeds in Vitathrive overnight and transferred to Jiffy pellets. I used the excess water with Vitathrive to soak the pellets 👍. Two days later, what I’ll reference now as P1, popped out. P2 is two days behind. These seeds were sent from BF over a year ago. Day 5 - Placed both in 1 Gallon fabric pot with an amended Coco Coir mix. Grow medium (per 1 Gallon) in Vivosun 1 Gal Fabric pot. Coco Coir, 1.5 TBSP of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 2 TBSP Earthworm Casting. I debated doing a synthetic run again but love the simplicity of using Gaia Green. I will start early giving the plants some Organic Cal-Mag for General Organics. Outcome of mix TBD LoL... Lights: HLG 65W 4000k QB for the first 2-3 weeks depends on space. HLG 95W - Week 3 to 6 or until the 3x3’ tent is open for business. I plan (I change my mind on a daily so we’ll see) to do a two plant in a 3x3’ flowering tent under the HLG QB 288 (260W 3000k) Game Plan Last grows I had amended my mix with Feather Meal which caused Nitrogen Toxicity in both plants. For this run I plan to start extremely light and adjust accordingly, meaning I’ll top dress with FM as needed or maybe at week 2. Plants currently under humidity dome with vents open as I have the strawberry nuggets on the other side finishing up (need low humidity for the next two weeks). Veg time will be at most 6 weeks if I’m running both plants in my flowering tent. Recommend flowering time for this strain is 9-10 weeks therefore plenty of growth will occur once the switch is flipped to 12/12. Why Phantom OG? We’ll I’m a fan of Sativa Dominant Hybrids. Read great reviews on this strain and looks like a strain that will produce enormous buds, to be seen.

My lady is a Royal Queen Seeds Purple Queen. It sits in 9l of water with temp of 19°C. Water temp is maintained by using a copper tube within the reservoir connected to a peltier device with a water block. Lamp used is Viparspectra 450W led. All nutrition is from Vitalink. I have recently started using a homemade co2 generator made from yeast and sugar with water. I use Sonoff TH16s for automation incl water cooling and humidity control. The only problem I have ATM is that air temp goes too low but to 19°C at night.

FD36 - True to form I completely forgot to take any pics before the lights were out. The third week in a row. I'm detecting a pattern... lol FD37 - Pics! FD38 - Today, I was proactive in trying to prevent botrytis (budrot) since I have had problems in the past when temperatures and humidity get too high in late flower. I started with defoliating hard by removing fan leaves. That should lower the humidity in the tent as there are fewer leaves to transpire moisture, and also increase the airflow around the buds. Finally, I put my small humidifier in the tent to further lower the humidity. FD41 - The anti-humidity measures are working. The tent went from an average RH in the high 60s to the high 40s. (The average RH in the last 24 hours was 48.9%.) I'm happy with that, which should be enough to avoid budrot. Better safe than sorry, so I did additional LST to open up the plants and thus increase the airflow around the buds. It's also helpful to increase light penetration, so win-win. FD42 - We're at the end of the sixth week of flower, and things are chugging along in the tent. The buds are slowly fattening up, but it will take some time before they are done. There isn't much to do in the tent this late in flower besides watering. Today, each girl got 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.5.

Still flushing and started to fade, not long to go now and very happy with this grow.

Our girl is doing really nice, the training was successful and now part of her is under ground and she is growing nice. I have increased the water intake a bit more

Very nice structure on them.. Already starting to produce resin on her fan leaves this girl has had a decent stretch this week and i removed alot of preflower stretched shoots from the bottom 2-6 branches on each clone.. Week 7 and 8 in the bag. One more light feed then the flush. Fall colors are coming in nicely and they are starting to purple up. They seem to have wanted a bit more water this week, had one plant start to droop before the watering but everyone perked up. Last dose of Great White microbes this week as well.
