25/01 Still having problems with the heat, I've build a exaust with 2 120mm computer fan, this week has arrived the humidity controller and I noticed that is to low for the temperature. Now I waiting for a mist maker to build a DIY humidifier(using a simple water spray for now) I belive this will be the solution to get a better VPD and control this fucking heat inside the tent 😎 30/01 The temperature is reaching more suitable levels, between 25-27°C. Even with the rainy days and higher humidity outside, the grow is stabilizing well at around 65% humidity.

Started flushing at the end of week 9, fortunately the weather is cool down a little bit😅 I planned to harvest her within a week or two

At the end of week 4 the Dough boy feminised takes its shape. The growth of the plant has almost ceased only growing 3cm this week. The pistols are almost at full capacity and have filled the internodes at its peak exceptionally. Her leaves are beginning to dull with most of her energy being used up to swell the calyxes. She’s looking good and stands at approximately 65cm tall she will be fed as required.

2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Purple Queen is an indica dominant kush hybrid that based on the crossing between Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani. This amazing purple strain contains 75% indica and 25% sativa genetics. The plant grows up to 1 m tall and demonstrates beautiful frosty purple buds during flowering. Purple Queen grows well both indoor and outdoor and suits for any growing medium. The warm and temparate climate is ideal for her cultivation. The harvest comes after 7-8 weeks of flowering and brings decent yeilds of resinous buds. You can expect 450 - 500 gr/m2 indoor and 800 gr/plant outdoor. Week 9! Day 65: 2L (pH6.8) + mild organic fertiliser from kitchen scraps. Remember the potato water I spoke of earlier? I blended it up with some ruined sweet peppers from the garden and some applecider vinegar & eggshell to give her one last, very diluted nutrient solution. This feed was aimed more at the soil than the plant. Bud bulking has come to a halt, she's fading. Nonetheless, I discovered some purple leaf edges on one of the buds in particular, I wonder if this might be related to nutrition or temperature. Day 67: 2L (pH6.6) + 5ml/l home-made fertiliser. I noticed I accidentally had turned off the timer on the LED, as well as left it on 20% power the entire night. I was expecting to have to disturb her lights off period to look at her, but there she was just chilling in low light conditions. Also, she seems to have no problems running on the very diluted home-made fertiliser so I'm repeating the previous feed - this time being a bit more precise on the dosage: 5ml/l. As I stated, this is more of a fertiliser for the soil microbes than herself.

Day 62, watering with pure water + enzymes until harvest. I found a great pheno with a mandarin slushie aroma, while the others smell like gas with light citrus notes

Day 43 Flowering: Hi all , hope we are red eyed and contemplating life ?. This week has been another great week for these genetic wonders. lol They have all spent their energy fattening out their intended bud sites and setting up for the boost that is building up fast now. They have all been placed directly under the lights now so have the full spectrum of Mars Hydro goodness beaming down on them all. Herz O.g jas really packed the pistils on now and her mains are very well covered with hairy colouring budlets that smell so sweetly now and have begun to really pack on the trichromes too. With her being a 7 week (49 days !) flowering strain on paper , I don't see her finishing in the next 7 days .lol She has a little to offer yet I think so we will totally ignore the science and go with the lady herself!!!!!. heehee Strawberry Cola is looking nice and shaggy too. her buds rwmjnd me of shook up soda now with her fizzy looking appeal close up. Her node are still in the process of joining up and with 3 weeks to go she has time. She smells really candy sweet now and her trichs are really stacking below decks on the lowers. she should make a nice plant at harvest. Monster Mash has staked her claim on the tallest of the grow. my initial worries of long node spaces are unfounded and she is proving her genetics can handle filling them in now. I can see so many potential donkey dicks in this lady ( not meant to sound like it does! ooops .lol) I expect the coming weeks to continue to impress with these beauties and hope you can stay along for the ride. Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Hello Canna Fam, So week 11 has come to end and the ladies are smelling great! I did a partial harvest to the Gorilla Cookies, LSD-25 and the Girl Scout Cookies as the trichomes were ready to the top half of the buds. I raised the pots slightly and will leave the rest of the buds to mature a bit more before I do the final harvest. I must say the trichome product on these FastBuds is just amazing! Que pasa familia, actualizamos de nuevo estos ejemplares de dutchfem, Casey’s rollex O.G. es una variedad 100% indica. Temperatura va de 21/23 grados ya sea de día o de noche. . La humedad anda entre 50% y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . AgroBeta: 1 ml x L Growth black line , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Tucán , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Flash Root , vía radicular. 0,05 ml x L Gold Joker, vía radicular. . UPDATE : The plant has now been transplanted into a 5 gallon fabric pot which had been pre watered before hand, I also added some great white mycorrhizae that @MrG was kind enough to send out for me shes been happy with the new transplant growing much more everyday she is almost ready for her 1st top in a couple days but here how she looks as of today there is no point in using any mycorrhizae when using sythentic salt nutes as every time you feed it will just flush the stuff away but i played it smart and transplanted a day after water therefore it had a couple days to sit in the mycorrhizae and possibly work, who knows wether it benefited the plant but was worth a shot and still had rapid growth after doing so, it was 3 days after transplant when i watered so it possibly could of got to work in the mean time before i flushed it away also the morning after transplant i increased the light intensity only by +100ppfd 30% power Temps - Day 24-27 - Night 21-19 RH - 60-75 VPD - Day 0.6kpa - 0.8kpa - Night - 0.5kpa-0.7kpa (roughly) I have started to also feed nutrients at small dosages its been 8 days since there 1st feeding and they seem fine from my knowledge but i did water until run off and tested the EC/PPM of it and it was way too high so i think next water im going to have to flush heres what happend water hardness before feeding was 124ppms water run off hardness risen to 1140ppms 1140ppms is way to much the veg stage and i need to lower it down which i will do so in 3 days in the mean time ill keep a close eye on the girl Happy Growing :)
