If you're just joining us, we have these photo-dependant ladies vegging in our 48"x 24" VIVOSUN tent. I have been doing a lot of heavy defoliation and pruning the past week. I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots. - I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate. - I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. I mixed 12 gallons of solution for all the plants I have in flower. 1 gallon of that was then measured and fed to this cultivar. 👩‍🔬NUTRIENT SOLUTION👩‍🔬 ⬇️Mixing Rundown⬇️ The solution starts with 12 gal tap H2O through two kdf filters mixed in a 36 gallon reservoir. 8/23 Fed 2 gallons of nutes to the garden. I'm planning to increase feeding to three gallons as plants look hungry. Ice cream cake isn't as vibrant as it once was. Still losing leaves but I find that is consistent with others in my area according to the local growers page. The hurricane missed us but the rain and humidity are still a problem. It's not raining (plants were soaked so it rained last night) and rh is still 100%. It's outdoor so what can I do? What I NEED to do is spray BT and something to combat PM. Plants are flowering nicely. It's good to actually have some flowers to look at. The smell is great too. 8/24 Didn't water as it rained last night. Defoliated what was dead. Fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everything is in flower. The little ice cream cake flowers don't look like they like this rain. I don't blame them. I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at night. I noticed more damage on plants or maybe old damage. Either way bud shoots are gone on a few lower limbs. I can't pull up my bags as the are firmly rooted. I checked under the five gallon buckets (which were also somehow firmly rooted) and found a shit ton of earwigs underneath. I killed what I could. I tried spraying a bug with dawn but it didn't kill it or at least didn't kill it right off. I stomped on them and tore open the earth. Logic dictates they are probably under the grow bags as well. I'm going to try Spinosid tonight. I'll look up some other methods as well. If anybody has advice please hit me up. UPDATE: Went back down at 6. Super sunny and humid today. Temp was 92 with humidity about 90%. I couldn't spray. I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Found four more moth leaves on the sick isolated plant. They must like the injured ones better. 8/25 Watered and defoliated what needed it. Buds are growing rapidly. Took pictures but have been unable to upload due to slow internet connection. Hopefully the weather will allow me to spray tonight. 8/26 Watered heavy as it's been in the 90s. Couldn't spray as it was to hot last night. Buds are tightening up. Ran out of LCPT so I need to find an alternative. Now that plants are flowering it's easier to see the damage from the earwigs. No buds where they should have been on some low branches. Not many and hopefully the few that got lollipoped will focus growth on the top. I hope I'm able to make it down late tonight to work. I was worried about my plants flowering late but that might be a blessing in disguise. I've seen lots of people losing plants to bud rot. Thanks for stopping by and please leave any thoughts or advice in the comments. 8/27 UPPED MY FEEDING REGIMEN TO THREE GALLONS AND USED TWO TBSP TIGER BLOOM IN PLACE OF KOOL BLOOM AND USED A WHOLE TBSP KELP FOR THE HEAT. This heat is killing me. Yesterday was over 95f with rh in the 90s. My medication makes the heat harder to bare. Defoliated what needed it. I'm in town looking for a fungicide. Planned to use apple cider vinegar this morning but of course I couldn't find it. Buds still rapidly forming. I'll update later. I picked up potassium bicarbonate and citric acid and have the recipe and ingredients for both diy green cleaner and green cure. Once the sun starts going down I'm going to use the potassium bicarbonate recipe. Bought a bunch of potassium bicarbonate and citric acid. I am now able to make diy versions of both green and green cleaner. I mixed 1tbsp potassium bicarbonate with 1/4 teaspoon dawn and sprayed two gallons on the plants last night. Leaves were yellowing more and traveling upward on the blueberry. Bleeding like nitrogen deficiency. I'll monitor. If plants don't improve I'll need to do a flush and an application of Spinosid. Wanted to take pics but the phone died. 8/28 Thoroughly watered today. I also had to defoliate a ton of yellow leaves on my blueberry's. I'm hoping it's not nutrient lockout. I still have three issues that could be my problem 1) the WPM 2) PISSIBLY ph fluctuation or worse w lockout and 3) earwig or inch 🐛/ moth larvae causing damage. I'm coming out of my funk so hopefully I can fix these issues. Smell is amazing and the buds are really starting to develop. They looked bigger in the evening than they did in the morning. It was over 90° f yesterday and I woke up to 50 this morning. I'm sure these big temp swings don't help much. 8/30 Rained last night but I watered slightly as there wasn't much rain. ADDED TWO MORE I.R. CAMERA'S last night. I feel more secure as the area is also protected with motion sensors and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm not going to mention. Anything bigger than a porcupine and things get bright and loud and signals get sent, roads blocked ECT. Not my first rodeo deep in the Maine woods. The grow will not be left alone and hadn't been for a few weeks. Anyway I lifted a 5 gallon bucket and found more earwigs. It jives with some of the damage I've been seeing. I'm thinking of spraying spinosid instead of BT tonight. At least the buds are starting to fill in. They don't seem to bother those as much. They did bite off a bunch of grow shoots though. Either way I have a few issues to deal with. As long as the weather stays alright until October I should be fine. My ice cream cake is barely flowering and it's HUGE. I have another seed that's in a similar state. Others are further along. We shall see how things go. The little ones could be transported inside at night if necessary.

I did a top dressing with the dynomyco last week and washed it into my coco upon watering. Not sure if the extra fungus helps or not, but can't hurt. Thc bomb is getting rather large for a 100 watt spider farmer SF-1000 light. I am running the board at 11 to 12 inches from tops of plant. Which is safest I can get the light in my growing conditions. I have been steadily keeping upped Amounts of phosphorus and potassium. While trying to reduce nitrogen levels. I been keeping underside clear. Waiting for the flowers to start stacking up. Looks like this will be a longer grow. Day 50 Finally got my phosphorus deficiency under control. I will be checking Trichomes on day 53 and go from there. The Hindu will have another couple weeks.

Just a perfect outdoor grow, after last year I wasn't very confident that the plants would finish, but the dry weather helped a lot. It's about the journey too for me, just love to see them grow everyday, combat problems and have a big community here that's always willing to help!

Nothing special this week. I've defoliated the plants this week even though I've planned to to that next week, but it was just getting too messy. I'll need to defoliate even more later this week so that I can switch them to a 12H cycle on the 7th week, and not cause too much stress doing both things at once. Happy growing 🌿

Seeds germinated in room temperature water for 36 hours in the dark.Planted today in 3 gal pots with a mix of happy frog and ocean forest soil.Used recharge in the first watering and now I wait for these 9 girls to be born .)

02/01/18 - Week 7 / Day 38 Added PK 13/14 last week as per the CANNA COCO schedule I've been following for this grow - the buds look a little more plump and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks have in store. The smell is amazing - sweet and citrusy, with a candy aroma. There is great variation in the smell of the resins from the 4 GZ plants - one of them smells like a sweet tangerine while others smell less citrusy and more sharp/pine smelling. There doesn't seem to be much of a variation in phenotype, one has a great inter-nodal distance and the other three look about the same in terms of stature. Two look identical in the shapes of their bud, one has very GG4 looking buds and the last one has the least developed buds. I think this is because it has the most lateral growth and multiple bud sites which cant get the light from the canopy - I got a little greedy and didn't want to trim these away when defoliating early flower but I looking back I regret not doing that as the other three (which didn't have nearly as many smaller side branches) are doing excellently. Alternatively, this plant could just be a couple days behind lol. More updates on 8th. Happy New Year!

So at the bottom tent we have amnesia haze who is very frosty with a sweet gassy smell. Then there is bubble gum more on the earthy side. At the top tent we have that GMO Cookies I got from the bottom of a bag is extremely frosty out of the three in there

Got everything moved around & the new carbon filter, fans & lights so hopefully I got better coverage with less power👍🏼 Topped 1 of the Gelato OGs today was getting way taller than the rest we will see how she bounces back! Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

I really can’t believe it’s 63 days from my baby’s showed there first set of “ true “ leaves :) .. It’s been a pretty straight forward grow no complications, well so far haha , but working in soil and feeding organically with biobizz it’s rare to get any problems . And off course Good genetics from a trustworthy breeder always helps keep problems at a minimum as well . All the girls in my growroom ( I say room it’s a cupboard) are loving the new leds but the C4 from Fastbuds is out preforming In speed , size , smell and at the minute yield :) , the closest to her would be another fastbuds lady the Gelato that’s been slugging away in the corner And seems to be one to watch .. Anyway at a guess I would say another few days a week at most and I will harvesting the C4 Matic :)
