Week 4 flower has come to an end if really happy with the look of things atm all plants are stacking nicely and kicking the crystal right out there's a nice variety of strains by various breeders all different sizes and smells 😊 the Divine indica by divine seeds has the largest flowers this has been an awesome strain that will definitely be getting run again the opium also by divine seeds is huge aswel. The 3 barney's farm strains left in there also look very promising the mimosa evo smells unbelievable and the pink kush and weeding cake are ticking all the boxes. 👉The daily routine of twice daily fertigation has given me a small insight as to what Phil Conners may have gone thru. There has been promising changes however that re-assure me that the plant is indeed maturing and will finish soon. The top leaves are starting to fade, and a couple of amber trichomes have been spotted! So far the amber color is light, almost yellow, and should darken up a bit by harvest time. At the rate they seem to be getting cloudy/milky I could be harvesting in as little as 3 days, but that is just wishful thinking I'm sure. I'm hoping no more than 10 more days. But I will let the plant decide...as long as there are only a few clears and the rest cloudy then I will harvest. 👉I took one small cola tip bud from an upper level, secondary branch. It weighed 30g with leaves, 10g trimmed and when dried to 20% should be 2g. I did this to be able to inspect the buds with a little more stability when using the USB scope. Those pix are the first 6 on this page. 👉Nutrient mix is the same recipe: week 11 on the General hydroponics flora series drain to waste chart. I reduced the concentration to 1ms from 1.3. The saturation level for the pot is averaging around 1lt per fertigation. I give it 2.5l at lights on, and 2L 1-2hrs before lights off. For some reason this grow session there is a persistent/prolific algea growth on the outside of the pot (cloth pot). I have the same fan setup Ive been using all year. It may be that when I didnt spray the pot off for a couple week the algea got a firm hold on the pot. I use a pressure sprayer with a H2O2 solution (1gallon water with 60ml h202) to spray off the exterior of the pot every couple days. THis keeps it at bay somewhat. After harvest I will cut open the cloth pot to see if the algea extends inside the pot any and if has affected the roots. 👉 While trichome hunting is very kewl if good pictures are taken, its very frustrating to get a decent pic due to any slight shake causes the pic to blur. When doing daily eye loop inspections I dont turn off the grow lights or fans. But when trying to get pix I turn off all the fans and both grow lights. This helps a little when trying to take pix with the USB scope.I have the small scope mounted on a tripod and that eliminate my own movement, but just trying to focus proves to be tedious because any touch causes the image to shake wildly, which results in very slow progress as I search around the plant and try for decent pix. Today I got a tube extension set for my 35mm DSLR. It turned my regular 55mm lens into a macro lens. While its not the same as a regular macro lense, its way cheaper....35$ for the tube set as opposed to 300$ for an actual macro lens. THe high resolution allows me to get sharp images with a deeper feild of focus than the scope. I still need lots of practice and need to work on lighting. I included some cropped and un-cropped macro shots done with the camera. The other macro shots are the USB scope. You can see its still got plenty of clear, lots of cloudy, and an amber here or there. The areas that I have touched have strands of resin that look almost like spider silk. SOOOOOO frosty! Santa is going to really enjoy his milk and cookies when he visits my house.

This Blue Dream did not grow very big, probably because it did not grow much compared to what I think it should have done, so it did not put on much body but the flowers are exceptionally good. Thanks to a wise use of the hours of darkness and 48 hours and more in the pre-harvest phase of total darkness in the coolest part of the house with fans turned on. Resin of that kind that leaves the flowers seasoned if you make sure the darkness is good at the end. In summer not bad at all. ** We remind all users that we grow two plants per strain, one worked with specific techniques and the other left to grow freely this is a worked with main lining. I germinating new one ☝️

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Noticed some yellowing tips. I think I need to dial back the nutrients a bit. I increased them last week to see what they could handle. There is a lot more growth than I expected this time and I've let them veg longer than I usually like to but it was necessary to let them recover from my previous mistakes. Tomorrow will be a good day to defoliate and start the flip into flower. If it isn't nutrient burn, then what is causing the yellowing leaves and tips?

This may be my last week with this run and moving quickly onto the next one I jave a few plants in veg so we can skip the first few weeks where notning really excing happens

I know Runtz well, I know Zamnesia's Runtz very well, I have grown it in all its forms, photoperiodic, normal autoflowering and f1 autoflowering. In 12 months you could do 6 cycles, unlike normal autoflowering plants which take 3 months on average, i.e. 4 cycles per year, knowing how to do 12 divided by 2 and 12 divided by three, right? Cutting this plant down around day 67/68. Starting to let the plant dry back every other day. I’ve had to lower the light intensity the last few weeks of flower because of temperatures but it still looks pretty good!

This week the weather is better. The buds are getting fat and she is developing well. Terpes are amazing, sweet fruits and fresh mint.

Day 44 - Today it's time to say sayonara to the undergrowth as I clear away a lot of the fan leaves and make room to further shape the canopy. I took each of the 8 branches that I previously cuffed off to fan leaves, and tied them down into their final resting place - rounding out the final shape of the plant. Day 47 - Defoliation ✂️ - over the course of 3 days, this lady bushed out like woah - causing me to dive back in the the scissors. Ermahgerd! 😱 She showed me a ♥️!

I put the baby’s into the scrog a few days ago they look super healthy and are growing rapidly:)
