Here we are with another super strain from Royal Queen Seeds!!! This one was my first choice, but she was still not available on March, so I had to wait to have the chance to grow this super plant! Royal queen seeds sent me this amazing package full of gadgets and goods for cultivate, so I'm testing their organic nutrients to see the differences and the yield they will have on my tiny plants :) During this week I was not at home, I waited germination then I went to holiday, but everything was ok when I came back! For the moment the Hulkberry auto is under led light -a cheap one, just for first two weeks- I’ll move her outside when she will become a little bit stronger (I have a lot of snails and parasites in my garden and they literally love this kind of plant 😒) Thanks Royal Queen Seeds to gave me the opportunity to grow this beauty ❤️

Despite the small yield, this appears to be some of the best weed I've ever grown, smoked, or even seen in my entire life. The smell, taste, and potency are all ridiculous, along with the bag appeal. Unfortunately the size of the plant wasn't great, would've loved to have grown her out for longer.

Week 4 flower went fine with all three humming along nicely in living soil. Watered to saturation after applying a 1" top dressing of worm castings, compost, and Langbeinite from Down to Earth. No need for further plant training, defoliation, or pruning. Now, just sit back and let these girls finish their run.

Had few issues this week with slugs and rabbits in this new spot. It’s shot up since she got put in ground, gave her a good feed with grow and plants of water as we’ve had good 2 weeks without rain so ground was bone dry. See how this week goes, if good growth and not been attacked will start to train her out abit. All for this week happy growing 🌱

Just cut down my 3 autos that I hade going including this one. As always, these girls are extremely frosty and are very stinky. They are on day 1 of drying and are at a perfect 60/60 for drying.

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Thank you for checking in on our journey, all the love, support, and compliments were a true motivation, a very needed distraction, and guidance for me and for Sunshine. Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Congratulations!!! I will be contacting you to get the seeds with you!! Thanks for playing to all the others and better luck next time, I will give away some seeds again!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Overall conclusion: I think we can call this a succes. Made back my investment, my cost per grow and we saved the environment. Thanks for all the love, tips and support! Couldnt have done this on my first indoor LED grow, without you!! Wish you were here to smoke a fat one, some good conversation about our hobby and now... I'm hungry.... See you on the next one!! Hello gardeners! I'm starting my third grow after two good attempts where I learned a lot. In my first trial I was able to pull 40 + 20 + 20 = 80 g under not optimal conditions (limited time mostly), and in my second I improved to roughly 40 + 40 + 60 = 140 g with one additional week in veg and an additional led panel during flower. Now, my goal is to harvest 3 x 60 = 180 g with pretty much the same set up. The differences from my previous grow will be: 1) 1 more week in veg (total 6 weeks): I felt that my girls were not mature enough when I flipped them to 12/12 in the last grows. I wanna see them stronger and more robust this time 2) Use a larger pot size during flower (5 gal): for the same reason as above, I want to give them the opportunity to be strong and robust plants 3) Reduced number of colas (16 per plant): last time I was a bit conservative doing lollipop and removing the little side branches, and ended up with ~23 colas/ plant, which did not allow proper spacing between colas. Although ventilation was never a problem, there was a lot of shade that could not be avoided. 4) Improved feeding regime: (see images) one of my goals with my growing is to establish a good feeding regime that works reasonably well for average strains with my growing medium (PRO MIX herbs and vegetables). Since the medium is a hybrid between soil and soiless, the plants don't need extra nuts in the first weeks, but as the plants grown, the organic compost present in the medium becomes not sufficient. My feeding strategy is basically the GH Flora Series - Drain to Waste chart with reduced amounts in the first 4 weeks and slightly less nitrogen during flowering. 5) Height Control: since the girls will have an extra week to grow, I'll need to be extra cautious and control their height from the very beginning. I'll be doing 1 top in the CBD and GG, and probably 2 on the Moby Dick. I also may try something similar to manifolding on the Moby Dick if she starts to grow really faster than the others. In addition, I'll be scroging everything as low as I can. 6) LED panel distance: last time plants finished flowering about 16 in away from the lamp. I feel that I can lower it to 13~14 without problems, so I'll try this too SET UP -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grow tent 2 x 3 x 6" hidden on a closet (0.54 sq meters) Light: 2x LED Panel VIPARSPECTRA 450w (200w real) Air filtration VivoSun 4" exhausting outside the closet Air circulation: 2x 120mm 5v desk fan Container: Red Solo cups / 1 GAL / 3 GAL / 5 GAL Medium: 75% PRO MIX Herbs and Vegetables (sphagnum peat moss, Peat humus, compost, perlite, gypsum, limestone, organic fertilizer, Mycorrhizae - NPK: 0.30 - 0.05 - 0.10) + 25% Perlite Nuts: GH Flora Series Ph: 6.0

Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants has been stimulating for to long. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.
