All going good.

Plants have grown well this week with only minimal interference. The temperature and humidity are holding at a good place (around 70-72 degrees and 65% humidity). Pretty sure that Demeter was just light burn. We moved the lights back a bit, and new growth is coming in good. Kini has taken the lead and is really taking off. Demeter is recovering, and Alice & Lorraine are 6 days behind but catching up quickly. They are starting to eat/drink more, and it will be time for the first res change this week for everyone. We noticed a few bugs in the basement this week, and may have gone overboard on the diatomaceous earth (the white powder all over everything). Also added another 4-port air pump this weekend, and another 4x2 stone in each bucket.

The Pineapple Express was born and continues to grow regularly. It does not stand out for its speed but it will certainly be worthy of remembering the mythological strain.

Had budrot on one plant due to thunderstorms every day last week. Took that plant out last week. Also took the main colas as a preventative measure. Left all the smaller buds. Now I took the one plant which I believe is cheese, I actually grew 2 cheese, 2 gorilla girl and 2 white widow seeds and ended up with these 4 plants.... the one I harvest looks like it's been ready to harvest for some time now.

Welcome to week 8! She’s still looking great and healthy. It seems that she’s still making some height but slowly also the buds getting bigger and bigger from day to day. At end of week 8 I probably have to adjust some branches to give them more light disposal and maybe doing some light defoliation. At the mid of week 8 I can see that the buds gaining weight. More and more orange pistils are showing up and she starts to smell just a bit. At the end of week 8 she’s still doing Great! The buds getting bigger and i decided to a last defoliation to ensure better airflow and also removing some of the smaller popcorn buds to redirect energy flow. The roots already decided to grow outside the pod 😄 they’re looking snowwhite, which is a good sign. I’m still very happy with this strain and also with the performance of the growbox. Can’t wait to see how she’s producing nice, dense and thick buds

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Great week for my gorgeous girls! Not much to say as feeding is as usual 2.5L 💧They have a nice sweet aroma! Next week I will remove some leaves 🌿✂️

Well she is coming to the end. I looked at her tricomes with a 60x handheld microscope and she has about 90% milky and 10% clear, with the occasional amber one. I thought about pulling her today but the smaller flowers look like they need more time. Also, I read someplace that if you think you are ready to harvest, wait a week as there is a 2 week window and waiting one week will put you in it. I have been giving her just tap water ph to 5.8-6.0 with the occasional extra gallon flush as I can not empty my basin right now. The root picture looks a little brown, but that's just the lighting. I reached in and checked the roots, no slime or odd smell. After I maneuver her around (bending her colas away from lamp) my hands smell like a pine air freshener or grass, (not like cannabis)? I have now supercropped 3 of her larger colas which can not be seen from the photos, but they are all the size of my wrist in circumference and about 6 inches long. While some have some toasted leaves, I think the buds will be fine. The extra cfls hanging on the outside have really made a difference in popcorn production! If I get an ounce out of this I am considering it a win, however I'm thinking it might be more, we shall see. Thank you for following my grow. Hi everyone this last few weeks have been crazy as you all can see this Gelato turned out to be a Photoperiodic plant. Week 17 in to flower for 2 weeks now. All was going well but I did not have much time to look after it. And got some light burn in the early stages did some training techniques and She looks is recovering now. Some nice pictures how big one of those can get when I wasn't expecting this plant to be a Photoperiodic. But let's see she turned out a female so that's great will be a nice surprise probably. This was a funny journey. It reacts better to scrog than LST, lst one only yielded (wet) 159g while the one with scrog yielded (wet) 346g. Unfortunately I got mold on the top bud of the lst plant, high humidity is very dangerous to this strain (atleast for me was). After drying for 1week and curing it for other week I decided to try it out and I got pretty happy with it. First grow and the buds taste very fruity and sweet, from 0-10 the ash is probably an 8. I am excited to try the other one out since it received much more light (it has 17colas). Loved to grow this ones, highly recommend this strain for beginners. I'll update the outcome whenever they dry. Thank you everyone for supporting me on my first grow. 87g dried, not bad for 105W (tgl star 100), taste is pretty good and It gives an uplifting buzz.

She is bursting with terpenes! I pressed a 6.6g puck and I got a 1.74g return at 220F (26%) my mold is made to hold about 15g so I suspect I lost some recovery to the filter bag. Just learning on the press but I’m getting wonderful results and returns around 25%.

And today I start grow Do-si-dos Automatic Royal Queen Seeds.. As I know it is a very strong THC variety.And with good parents. 20 hours in glass of water. then Paper towel, until I will see the root.

10 January - 16 January 10/1- Last feed

Well, I've confirmed through sources that we officially entered the flowering stage as of last week. Time for some adjustments. Just prior to confirming flowering, I did one last trim, removing the larger fan leaves at the top to allow more light to the bottom. Good thing I did this now, as any later I've been told will shock them too much. With confirmed flowering, I switched over from both blue and red lights to just red. I also lowered the lights closer to about 9 inches after being assured that they won't burn the leaves any. With the transition, I gave the plants one last watering with the N-P-P mixture.

Nutrient

Another week gone by and the plants are growing nicely. I had some yellow coloring of the lower leaves at the beginning of the week and so i increased the fertilizer a little bit and the plants are responding well so far. Since they are in the bigger pots i also dont need to water them every day anymore, this week i only watered them twice. I also picked some of the lower leaves which dont receive so much light anymore, topped the remaining strains and tried to bend down some of the branches with some garden wire but didnt work as good as i hoped it would. i still have a scrog-net which im going to use later, but i think the plants are still too small. in the future im going to try different techniques and materials, for now i'm not going to overthink it and just let them grow now,.
