9/29/2024 The plant is looking extremely healthy! There are tons of flower sights and they are starting to bulk up with nice frost development as well. Daytime air temps and humidity are slightly higher than I would prefer, but working to control it the best I can. Lights are currently at 90%, planning to increase to 95% in the next few days. Stretching looks to have stopped or slowed to a crawl at this point. I am continuing to defoliate large fan leaves and any areas of overgrowth/overlapping of leaves to open up the canopy and promote airflow. 10/1/2024 Raised light directly over the plant about an inch. Starting to put some thought into support as the branches are already putting on some weight and swaying from the fans. Have some 4-foot wooden dowels on standby and plenty of bunchers twine. Small issue with roots in the drain line causing the water level in the bucket to rise. Removed the roots and the issue was resolved. Working to maintain 800-900 PPM in the reservoir. 10/5/2025 Overall pretty stress-free week. Continued to add pH-adjusted water only to maintain 800-900 PPM when needed. Still defoliating a few leaves per day to continue to open things up throughout the canopy. Flowers are developing nicely and the frost is everywhere. The smell in the tent is wonderful and quite pungent! Arm hair is getting sticky from reaching in to grab leaves!

I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. Our summers are hot and humid with frequent thunderstorms. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Lemon girls both had mutations at germination. Lemon Drizzle split ot topped herself. This creates two main plant stalks. The primary and a smaller secondary stalk. Lemon drizzle has stretched above the scrog top opening up her structure. Today she has an erratic top canopy in multiple levels with multiple bud sites. Interesting her nodes have for this week started to develop off set from each other. When opening the tent you get hit by this sweet, fruity scent :) I think the yellowish leaves are comming from nutrient deficiency. Since the PH should be in a fine spot now, I guess raising the nutrients should be the solution. If you have other thoughts on why the leaves turn yellowish, please tell me!

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our summer weather continues to be brutal with daytime high temperatures hitting over 90℉ everyday, and nighttime low temp's rarely going below 75℉ with super high nighttime RH in the 70-90% range. 7/28- I am continuing with my daily watering regime of 5-8g every afternoon after sunset, with the exception of days that we receive measurable rain. 7/30- The Papaya Sherbet photo is continuing her growth spurt and is at 6 1/2 feet tall now! She's got that wide node spacing reminiscent of Sativa's, and I'm just hoping that she doesn't wait too long to begin flowering which would run into our wet season when issues with fungus and mold become more of a concern. 8/1- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now 84 days since she first appeared, and she has really come a long way since. Hopefully in the next few weeks she will shift gears and begin to flower which will be a welcome sight to see!
