Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. 05/04/2024, last pruning, rapid flush, EC down to 0.9, Falsh Clean @3ml/L, from now to harvest I will refill the tank with water EC 2 (approx. 3L/Day (target EC should be close to 0.3 at cut, Sunday or Monday). I stopped the heating control, and set day ligth to 14h and will follow decreasing 1h/day, till 8h light only. 10/04/2024 This is amazing, this year no rush to harvest, we can wait and I have to say it seems to us it's still getting fatter! My issue now is that the humidity has some pics at 100% at night! What could I do?!?!? 11/04/2024 EC dropped at 0.7 by adding only water, pH was up to 6.7 but back to 6.5.

Now comes the fun part. As some friends of the fantastic Growdiaries community pointed out to us, we begin to see that the waiting time is about to be repaid, the peaks are taking on their final shape and I believe that shortly, after a good final blowjob of various boosters, we will leave for a flush of at least two weeks

I watered them with 250ml and 400uS/cm each. I use the photone app to meassure the luminosity and they are receiving 7000lux aprox. They are all doing well. Although Juana has grown more than de others, they all look pretty happy so far. I plan to increase the light intensity at the end of this week since they won´t be babies anymore sooner than later. Today 22 is second week last day and they are starting to grow noticeably each day. This week I raised the EC to 400uS/cm and watered the plants with 250ml, so I just had to water them again with plain ph balanced water one more time during the week and that was practically it with watering. I also raised luminosity by switching 2 more LED bulbs and getting them all closer to the canopi, about 50cm. that is about 10000 lux in the meter I still spray them all day with ph balanced water, maybe next week I'll spray them with a little bit of Algafort, that can be used in foliar spraying. Humidity stayed at +-58% the last 2 days even with the little humidifier and me spraying them all day. I'm trying to raise RHs so next week I'm planning to lower de temp to 22-23 °C hoping humidity raises more naturally. Next week we also will start with a little of CO2 that is always well recieved.

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

This is a really odd plant. Lots of yellowing going on, looks like an N deficeny but ph in/out is 6.5. She's just weird and I have to assume it has something to do with genetics as I'm the only person here who's grown it so far and Seedsman shows it discontinued. It did come from my local seedbank where I got my Great White seeds from which was a disappointing grow. Anyways, I'll take what I can from her. I have 3 other plants going that I don't have diaries for as I've been too busy :( but they all are looking great! (Seedsman Auto Lemon, FB Wedding Cheesecake, SweetSeeds Sweet Gelato).

Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out. Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth. I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent. I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short. This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm. This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period. Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower. There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing. I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

July 5 - The girls are still doing awesome. temps are between 21-26. Humidity is 40-50. Still feeding every 24-36 hours with 3L per plant. July 6 - They are doing good. Showing lots of flower sites now. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures today. July 7 - Tons of progress since last week. I don't see any signs of any problems, and still no pests! The smell is getting A lot stronger as it starts to flower more July 8 - Still doing there thing, no problems, temps and humidity is fine. Have been feeding every 24 hours now as they seem to be really thirsty July 9 - Super happy with how they are doing. No issues yet. Smell is heavier, and tons of bud sites showing up. Only issue is they are growing pretty uneven. July 10 - Time to get a even canopy! First time doing some HST. I also did some defoliation. One of the stems split open a bit but it seems to be doing just fine. I did he HST and defoliation in the morning, i then took pictures of 12 hours later and everything seems just fine! July 11 - Everything seems to be a lot more even and the broken stem doesn't seem to affect the growth.

The plant gotten bit taller but now she is getting fatter. Because of that I know she is finishing the 1st 3rd of her flowering cycle. So I trimmed her, cleaned all the small bud sites and added more flowering food as top dress. She also got boost

Die Letzte Woche war hart. Die Lampe habe ich zur Vorsicht wieder auf 127 Watt gedimmt. Bob hat zu zwittern angefangen und ich habe einige Bananen entfernt. Ich hoffe die Schnittstellen erholen sich, doch bisher bin ich guter Dinge. Aufgrund der möglichen bestäubung habe ich jedoch keine grossen Erwartungen mehr an das Endergebnis. Nichts desto trotz sind die Topcolas wirklich saftig und dick. Der Geruch im Schrank ist Muffig, Süss und fruchtig. Die Mädels erholen sich soweit und werden wieder elastischer und klebriger. Ich verzichte nun bewusst darauf, die Pflanzen zum Fotografieren aus dem Zelt zu stellen und beobachte nun täglich mit Adleraugen die weitere Banenenentwicklung sowie Trichomreifung

Week 10 to the day and it’s time for the chop. Won’t be a whole lot see in that regard. It’s all being hand trimmed, packaged and frozen fresh - right from the plant. Then processing via bubble bags, pressing for live rosin, decarbed and finally - carted. I’m guessing about a years worth of vapable concentrate.

Having to increase cal/mag due to my led lights. Took me a while to figure it out but other than she’s looking good. Hoping she turns out great. Did some minor lower defoliation other than that don’t plan on cutting too much more off. No negative effects from it either. Didn’t skip a beat.
