How do you control really huge fan leaves that are putting too much weight on lower leaves?

11/4 Week 6 Light training to get the buds in light and keep her dry. Watered 11/3 one gal @6.5PH - Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo syrup 5ml Just keeping an eye on her 11/5 Gorgeous smell coming off her purple buds, reminds me of a taffy shop. Drooling over her Growing well got her into the canopy better. 11/7 Update and bragging! Watering/feeding day today, she loved it! She is turning so pretty! The deep purple looks like fairies stole in the night and are using the little brushes to color her leaves. He hairs stand tall! First strain I have seen with them this tall. The smell is sweet with a warmed fruit smell...for those that bake, closest I can come. Still have some questions as if this is a true Runtz. From her coloring and bud development and her leaf shaping she is a good match. Res change at day 29. Have to lower nitrogen a bit cause its clawing and pretty dark. Otherways everything is just fine and it grows nice. Ad calmag 5ml to 20L.

June 6, 2025 the apple fritter continued to have a great growth rate just nonstop growing. I feel like this plant grows throughout the night. It’s getting energy off that damn moon at this point but continued the same regiment every seven days given it a boogie brew, heavy harvest tea every four days using pure Protein and soluble seaweed been checking the soil, moisture levels. I was suspecting that my holes were getting dry in fact, my holes are very wet and I can slow down on my watering which I’ve been doing very minimal watering anyways, but due to the near 300 gallon hole size they retain water extremely well Therefore I have actually slowed down on my watering more this year than I ever have before the leafhoppers this week were a little more aggressive also applied name seed meal and name seed spray to the girls, hoping to deter the little leafhoppers from messing with my stuff but all in all week five apple fritter is doing great expecting big big things from her

added GH Enhancer 3g/300ml @ PH 6.3 and removed 820ml water from the system

So I set up the veg room at last since I want to flip the main plant. That meant light proofing it, which I did with air con putty, myler blanket layers and A LOT of duct tape. It's not pretty but I hope it will get the job done! Perpetual grow is the grow, harvesting every 2 months. The clone I made from topping got transplanted to a solo cup, and I can see a root through the clear inside cut so I guess she is doing her thang., Also added lights to the flower booth so it should have 153w. Put 4 led bulbs with the tops popped off to see how they go, apparently, they are more economical than cfls? And I am considering what to do for side lighting, leds might be a choice because they have a lower profile, Or LED strips? Or fluorescent tubes? I guess it's not neccisary for this grow but in the future. I've tied down the main branches so I think they will all have their own space to get light. I think I've done enough training to flip. Can't wait for her to start flowering :)

Läuft, ich schätze dass der Grow noch mindestens 3-4 Wochen läuft. Wie zu sehen sind die Trichome erst gerade am entwickeln und natürlich noch Glas klar. Die Temperatur überschreitet 22C seltenst, dementsprechend zieht sich dieser grow garantiert in die Länge.

Nothing much happening of note this week except that they have suddenly begun frosting up faster than I expected. Had to do a couple more defoliations just to take care of the humidity. Shot this video today at the 10 week mark. Maybe another 4 or 5 to go.

These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower Nice progress with these ladies, I honestly did expect them to stretch this much. They were pretty heavy on leaves so I did a bit of cleaning of big fan leaves and bottom useless growth.. I admit, went a bit too far with one of them. Should've left a few more fan leaves behind.. 😪😓 Other than that, things are looking good. Bud sites are more visible, sure hope they keep growing out. Stopped adding grow nutrients, only bloom now. 25.07.21 Tag 51 der vegi hab alle Ladys neu runter gebunden und Lady nr.4 getoppt und ausgehackt werde die Stangen die ich für die Tomaten Halterung gebastelt habe entfernen sobald die Pflanzen aussen herum gewachsen sind und den Ring dann am Topf fixieren zur Spreizung der Äste,ich glaube das die Pflanze sonst die Stäbe einfach hoch drücken wird........... 27.07.21 Tag 53 hab heut morgen mich darum gekümmert das die Riesen Töpfe etwas erhöht stehen damit die Luft unterm Topf zirkulieren kann und die Töpfe nach dem Giessen nicht Klatsch nass stehen sondern noch nach Tropfen können, habe dafür mein altes Gestänge wo ich sonnst mein netzt drauf Spanne zum scroggen verwendet is ja knapp 90x90 gross mit festem Hühnerdraht aufgespannt Steine seitlich an den Ecken drunter und Holz in der Mitte zur Stabilisierung damit der Zaun nicht so stark biegt und die Töpfe somit nicht allzu stark schief stehen hat ganz gut geklappt wie ich finde. Zu den steckies 2 davon sind im Garten in einem 20 l Stofftopf gemeinsam ich weiss jetzt denken viele oh man das geht schief wir werden sehen ich experimentier so gerne. Der 3te Steckling steht beim Kumpel auf dem Balkon hab ich ihm geschenkt hatte kein Platz mehr dafür Bilder von den draussen stehenden Pflanzen werde ich gelegentlich hier mit einfügen will deswegen jetzt kein extra Bericht auf machen,bis die Tage ich komm wieder keine Frage ......... 28.07.21 Tag 4 Outdoor die Ladys haben sich in 4 Tagen verdoppelt und das obwohl sie sich den Topf teilen Mal sehen was die nächsten Tage so bringen für die 2 steckies
