Heavy defoliation, and feeding water only from now on

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

. FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. The OG KUSH started to show a Cal-Mag Deficiency. Other than that the plants are growing fine and responded very well to my last defoliation before harvest.

One more week of veg then flipping the lights to 12/12. I've been so busy with work and the outside garden that I haven't had much time to maintain these plants but they are doing very well considering. I've topped all plants and pulled branches down to spread canopy. A lot of defoliation has been needed along the way and I've done some lst and hst also. Once I flip the lights they should fill the tent up nicely. Being conservative with the nutrients. I will bump up a little bit once they are in flower.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

So started this in mid June/early July in my greenhouse. This was my first greenhouse grow! During the summer temps reached up to 130f. I was a little nervous with the heat during early flower but she handled the heat very well. Before the chop, temps got low as 45f at night. I never had any issues with pest (I used 500 lady bugs and 2 praying mantis). Checked every week for mold since the buds are super stacked. No bud rot or any type of issues. I will grow this again because I didn’t take clones :(

I provided the girls another drink of bloom ferts... Looks like they need another week of growth to fatten and finish. This strain looks to be closer to a 70 day finisher. Will be switching back to pure h2o for the final week.

Die Woche ist sehr gut verlaufen ich dachte eigentlich sie stirbt aber sie hat sich sehr gut erholt nach dem ich die Nematoden hinzugefügt habe man kann es gut erkennen da wo ich getoppt hab kommen und zwei weitere Köpfe und die neuen Blätter die wachsen sind wieder schön grün und saftig Sie ist nun auch in der zweiten Blüte Woche beziehungsweise der elfte Tag dann schauen wir mal wie es weitergeht.

Salut les growmies 19/01 On commence la semaine avec un arrosage avec l'enhanceur de@greenhousefeeding. Hier j ai finalisé la semaine avec une legere défoliation des grosses capteuses qui faisaient trop d ombre pour les sites floraux adjacents. De plus je viens d augmenter a 90 % l intensité de mes lampes que je vais progressivement augmenter jusqu a 100%. Ce soir quand j ai ouvert la tente les filles m ont acceuilli en priant .
