Day 21. Weather was cloudy all week, average 2 hours of direct sunlight per day. Messed up trying to begin LST broke the 2 lower branches. This plant will have 2 main colas instead of 4 like was planned.

This week I have seen an explosion in growth, this lady is rather young and taking over majority of the other ladies, either way I ain't complaining, had a few humidity spike problems in the tent due to intake packing in, ordered a new one so fingers crossed next week is a better week for the garden.

Well 46.5 grams from a solo cup grow seems pretty good. It was my first attempt at doing this. Was a personal challenge, and glad I experienced it. I did move the cup around the room during grow. This way i can easily move the pots in and out the tent to weigh them. I also moved the oscilating fan from underneath the canopy to above the canopy. This is because the leaves gets hotter as i increase the light's power output. The Gorilla Kush #2 and the Chemdog #2 are showing some heat stress. Before i watered them i weigh the pots. Dry weight: Chemdog #1: 4.2 kg Chemdog #2: 5.0 kg Added 10L to the reservoir. dry weight of buds after trimming = 93 gram and about 5 gram of Trim so 98g Total. Actual plan was to leave the plant some more days but after seeing some Nanas developing inside the buds i decided to cut it at day 65 of flower. great smell and cant wait to smoke the final product. All in all definetly a good strain for living soil.

Flushed with flawless finish on Monday. Ran through 26L. Ppm was initially 3300 and at the end was down to 1750ppm Tuesday flushed with 16L of just 6.5pH tap water that was dechlorinated. Initial run off was 1200ppm and got it down to 767ppm. Let her dry out for 3 days Flushed again but this time with RO water, 20L at 12ppm. My tap water is anywhere from 285-360ppm. Letting her dry again for 3 days. After will return to the normal 3L watering every 2-3days until harvest.

Day 50 - Decided to veg for one more week. Plants currently 70cm x 70cm wide and 33cm tall, hoping to get to 40cm at end of week. Fixed issue with the low extration rate. Found the filter had become blocked from the humidifier. Have moved it to the opposite side of tent. Hopefully this prevents it from happening again. Day 53 - Have been have Ph issue again due to algae. Plant hasnt been drinking much and growth seems very slow. Day 55 - Defoliated whole plant. Roots have some slime on them. Peroxide flushed with plain water for 12hrs maintained around 150ppm. All slime appears to be gone.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it.
