Same genetics, same food, same growbox... #1 has the biggest flowers, looks like very similar to the #3 #2 has the most covered in trichomes flowers, looks really frosty and snowy! #3 has the smallest flowers but remember, this plant is an experiment, I've topped at 3rd node and folded all the branches down continuing to top them, so it grew more slowly, underwent a lot of stress and flowering started later. For me was a success, let's see how it will end. The heat wave has just passed, after 15 days of hell no serious problems to report, few burnt tips, some spots where the water has fallen on the leaves. My gorilla now shows a sativa-like leaf pattern. Huge plant, still stretching, cheesy flavor when rubbed. Stay safe Bros

Quick germination. Put seeds into a cup of purified water, let soak for about 12 hours (until they sank) before placing directly into medium. Used smaller containers in the beginning, with zero amendments added to the mixture. Transplanted into permanent home before roots reached the edge, so there was no delay/shock involved.

Last few white hairs left, fan leaves have yellowed off nicely beautiful pink purple colours coming through! Absolutely stinks cheesy kush smell. At one point I thought it smelled like prawn cocktail crisps 😉😂 let me know if you agree and I'm not imagining it!! Great strain would defo run it again!!!

Bud sites started to appear everywhere, plants are looking healthy and are still stretching a bit. I've decided to add x2 infrared strips to the lighting setup, in order to improve the spectrum for blooming and trigger the emerson effect (infrared 15 mins before full darkness). I did notice in the past that infrared before darkness helps a lot and speed up the whole flowering process. I started to add some "Organic Bloom" to my soup. Various phenotypes are showing their traits, some plants are true sativas, others are more hybrids. I'm going to bet that the most sativas will take a few more weeks to finish. Stay tuned!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Realized I was a week behind so I updated a few days early but same same lol she is looking and smelling great. when its calm out she definately has a very pleasurable stank to her within a few feet radius. Shes actually starting to get some nice little flowers on her 😋 mayb i'll get like 10-14 dried grams??? guess well see but whatever it is dont really matter, already stoked to try again next year but i'll be doing things a little differently and also i'll add a couple more now that i know autos solve the issues of outdoor growing in a very short summer season. will not be using fabric pots outdoors anymore being the main change.

Steady week, all the girls seem to just keep getting bigger and bigger! Defoliated which I forgot to take pictures of however, they literally replaced the foliage in days! I Have a slight worry about one of the GG as she seems to be carrying on vegging with no real signs of flowering, just stretching more each day!? This seems strange as the Stardawgs look like they could be ready for flush in the coming weeks.. I am only a newbie so maybe i'm just been a little paranoid!? Either way She's absolutely massive!!
