I've been away for a week, leaving my tent in the care of a friend. Coming back I was surprised to see how much bud growth has occurred, as you can see colas are really starting to stack up, and trichromes are already appearing. Pineapple Express is growing as amazingly as ehs always seems to, and this time around there's certainly a lot more of her to be seen. At only three weeks into flowering, there seems to be a lot of potential for the weeks to come. I spent 2 hours trimming leaves today, mainly in spots where they were rubbing against other colas, and there's a good amount of space for each branch so far. Really excited to see what develops. 8/24 I am going to be cautiously optimistic here, the buds on Poly are looking so frosty and a consistent ratio of clear to milky at 1 to 3 with very occasional amber caused no doubt by wind damage. Four weeks to go and the excitement is building. Zona my Zona ... she is just continuing to improve and build buds like a good girl should. Expressing very sativa obviously I dont expect them to be as dense as the indica Poly. I have great designs on the bud she is producing. Fed just bio-bloom in a light dose (1 tsp/gal) 0.5 gal each more to give weight to the pots in heavy winds than anything else. Just some pics of Zona, like children, sometimes the troublesome ones find a special place. Six weeks remain for her god willing and the creek dont rise, so those scraggly little buds are gone be heavy. Beginning the process of bringing her branches higher and supported firmly for both wind and weight protection. I may never cut a plant down again for looking puny. As it turned out she is helping to save this grow :) 8/25 Zona into a seven gal pot for weight in windy conditions as anything else. Just put her smart pot and all into the larger container on top of about 1.5 inch of soil in the bottom and fill in the sides, worked well. If I lose the pot no big deal, those are cheap. ***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

At the beginning of the week the plants was so dried, maybe near death. I give them water and some nutrients, and in two days It have regeined strength. I'm very curious to see the final weigth.

The Pineapple 🍍 Express definitely takes a lot of work with defoliation,,that’s if your training her I guess,,,🤔anyways keeping her well fed,,with the castings,,and some extra liquid potash to satisfy her hunger,,,,I think she might go to 90 days,,,,

Growing report: The growth through veg stage was amazing couldn’t fault the plant or the feed BUT then flower stage is where these genetics goes all wrong! So two weeks into flower I see one plant had Hermied, so gave this one the axe, and then spoke to acouple of other growers that have the same strain Had the same problem So it’s now named (hermie pie) then in week 5 all plants Hermied. I managed to keep the seeds at bay mostly and slow down the process of them seeding until harvest on week 7/8 I got signs of bud rot but dealt with that quick enough it didn’t damage the rest of the the harvest. Once harvested they got a light trimming then hung up for 5/6days at temperatures 20/28 and humidity 45/60. Used Trimbag for the rest of the trimming process, got 6oz off 3plants 😬 curing for 2weeks in one ounce Jars 75% full. Bud report: Smell; is sweet and tangy Taste; sweet spicy taste Density of buds out of 10; 8. Some seeds found in buds😞 Thank you all for watching another stressful but fun and learning harvest.

This is my first grow ever I forgot to add more photos of other plants on next update I will have all photos!! I am doing everything organic, I am using compost soil from my cattle and other top soil I have been composting for awhile now. I am also using earth worm castings… I also have earthworms in the pot with the plants.. seem like all plants have ton of white hairs coming out now I don’t know what that means but I am learning as I go!!

Welcome to week 4 For Enigma in this Seedsman Tiny & Rare pot contest. After a bad start to week 3 she recovered well. Today I have added an air hose into her pot. It's run by a 5v 1w usb pump, connected to a 5v 2w solar usb panel. Using this I have been able to test the effectiveness of the light at different angles and ranges. The pump runs at full power within 30cm of the light. From there it slows rapidly down to 70 where it stops completely. I need a better light. Day 23: I have reconfigured the tent. I replaced the solar panel with a plug as I need the air to run when light is off too. My idea here is that if you can DWC with airstones, maybe if I blow air to her roots she can handle being in a saturated medium, thus allowing me to ensure she always has nutrition available. If it works as I hope, I may be able to have her exceed the size she might otherwise achieve in this pot. I have refilled the pot with fertigate every time the bubbles stop. There is no way its evaporating this fast. She has now been totally saturated for at least the last 6 hours and no drooping. Day 24: Been a bit lazy topping up her liquid but I'm confident the air pump is working as intended. Day 25: Enigma is on day 2 of a little dry-out experiment. Day 25.5 Enigma was wilting, so I fertigated her until the pot was full and then topped her up again twice. Day 26: Drowned her. Whoops. Day 27: Let her get too dry. Whoops. This is not easy. Day 28: End of week 4. Enigma suffering. It's difficult to get a balance between sufficient nutes and moisture levels.

This strain is an awesome smelling strain which begins too give beautifull colours towards the end of harvest! Shes definatley one too grow and I'd highly reccomend as she grows effortlessly and with ease. Well done fastbuds! I shall return too this strain indoors in the future hopefully too get a full harvest in perfect conditions

(Look back at week 1+2 for horror pictures) Whole of week 4 i worked on my climate control automation. I will keep the set up for atleast a week. 👽👉26/9 Big LST day. I got new supplies to manage the rest of the ladies properly. Topped another one ( 5/6 is topped) Cut just a couple of leaves. The crusty ones that did not receive light and the ones casting shadows over my lovely budsights. 👽👉27/9 Waterday* and recovery 2ml/L Bio heaven + fish mix / 6.4 PH 1.68 ECLetting them recover Humidity a bit higher during night because of watering, turned the temp up to match the VPD. 👽👉28/9 They look content, humidity a bit higher during night because of watering. 👽👉29/9 I am happy how you thrive, but they need some pruning/defoliation as soon as they have recovered from the stress training. 👽👉30/9 Did some defoliation, decided to flip to flower after their recovery. 👽👉1/10 They had a case of empty humidifier, resulting in high vpd for 7hours. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters.
