Clone#2 : BCN Critical XXL

Hello gardeners! I'm starting my third grow after two good attempts where I learned a lot. In my first trial I was able to pull 40 + 20 + 20 = 80 g under not optimal conditions (limited time mostly), and in my second I improved to roughly 40 + 40 + 60 = 140 g with one additional week in veg and an additional led panel during flower. Now, my goal is to harvest 3 x 60 = 180 g with pretty much the same set up. The differences from my previous grow will be: 1) 1 more week in veg (total 6 weeks): I felt that my girls were not mature enough when I flipped them to 12/12 in the last grows. I wanna see them stronger and more robust this time 2) Use a larger pot size during flower (5 gal): for the same reason as above, I want to give them the opportunity to be strong and robust plants 3) Reduced number of colas (16 per plant): last time I was a bit conservative doing lollipop and removing the little side branches, and ended up with ~23 colas/ plant, which did not allow proper spacing between colas. Although ventilation was never a problem, there was a lot of shade that could not be avoided. 4) Improved feeding regime: (see images) one of my goals with my growing is to establish a good feeding regime that works reasonably well for average strains with my growing medium (PRO MIX herbs and vegetables). Since the medium is a hybrid between soil and soiless, the plants don't need extra nuts in the first weeks, but as the plants grown, the organic compost present in the medium becomes not sufficient. My feeding strategy is basically the GH Flora Series - Drain to Waste chart with reduced amounts in the first 4 weeks and slightly less nitrogen during flowering. 5) Height Control: since the girls will have an extra week to grow, I'll need to be extra cautious and control their height from the very beginning. I'll be doing 1 top in the CBD and GG, and probably 2 on the Moby Dick. I also may try something similar to manifolding on the Moby Dick if she starts to grow really faster than the others. In addition, I'll be scroging everything as low as I can. 6) LED panel distance: last time plants finished flowering about 16 in away from the lamp. Getting close to harvest, maybe one or two weeks more. I had some powdery mildew starting on one plant so I cut those out, drying them now.

Great veg week. Its an increased nutrient week. Only issue was slightly high ph in soil, so I added a little more vinegar to my water. On previous grows, I would do my LST tie downs on approx day 31-33, but growth was really good, and over 10" on 7 of 9 plants, so tied down early on those 7, on day 28. Great color and stalk girth so far.

Did a defol on the covered budsites; feeding straight h20 at 6.0 this week I may have pushed the nutes a bit but that’s okay atleast I know he’s eating. Next few weeks I hope to get some smells coming off for an update 🤟

2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Fat Banana is a unique tropical indica/sativa hybrid. It is the result of crossing delicious Banana and outstanding OG Kush genetics. The strain demonstrates amazing potency and the THC level reaches to 25%. The plant develops a strong and long central cola and grows up 80-140 cm tall. Fat Banana develops a huge bushy structure outdoors. I finally got a new certified TDS monitor and figured out that my last one was cheap and unreliable. I'm getting much better readings for this part of the veg cycle (600-700). Running pH a little on the high side to rectify what I thought might have been a slight magnesium deficiency caused by pH Down-ing the shit out of it before I went on vacation (got down to like 5.5 which I figured would fix itself as alkalinity levels in the water rose). This week I finally proceeded with the first of the mainlining steps outlined in the Nebula Haze tutorial on Grow Weed easy. The plants are freshly topped and their remaining growth tips are tied down. Now we wait and see how they respond in week 4!

Waiting for the soil to dry up so i can chop off Sky2. 04.06 Day76:Today's feed (except for Sky2) 2L tapwater, 3,5ml topmax, 3,5ml bloom, 1,5mlbioheaven, 5ml molasse. PH:6.6 ~700PPM Next week... :D

I dumped the water and added new today with nutrients. Two plants are looking really healthy. I'll focus on these now and let the others slowly grow on the side. The one I transplanted late is dead. Will update more as it develops. UPDATE: Largest plant is drooping a lot. I'm assuming the auto-waterer over-watered again. Avoid this flower pot. I emptied the water and am letting it dry out a bit before watering again. UPDATE: The auto-waterer soaked the large plant. I've poked holes in the medium and lowered the light to just above the plants to hopefully help dry it out quickly. Also have a fan on it. UPDATE: The plant dried out enough that it's looking healthy again. Yay!

I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

I thought I should add, with the way I lst, I like to get as much defoilation out the way before flipping to flower that way all she does in flower is just get fat and lovely. Seemed to work well coming from only doing Autoflowers so just using that knowledge and implementing to my photo grows and tweaking it
