Definitely happy with the grow and the quality of the smoke

So far, everything is developing well. The Bruce Banner has been lollipopped, perhaps a little too much, but let's wait and see. I trained the S.A.D. #4 with plant clips, as three shoots became too dominant. This worked very well so far and the other shoots caught up well. I also noticed that the Bruce Banner was getting slightly yellow leaves. I don't know the exact reason, but it may have been due to the low CalMag dosage in the previous weeks. I also noticed an infestation of fungus gnats, nothing serious, but today I watered with nematodes and this problem should have disappeared.

Hey Friends, I just started my very first grow. Excited to see the outcome, Its a learning process, discovering new things everyday. Plant #2 growing rapidly, seed was very dark compared to others, does that mean something? On day 4 i noticed the leaf turning yellow on the borders, currently only feeding water, will keep an eye on that and do some research on the topic.

I took a lot of precautions because my last run got eaten by slugs (probably because of the top dressing (leaves) you can see in the very 1st image). Besides that, I just focused on a stable and humid environment for the 1st Week. A very exciting aspect is that I noticed a variegation on the Mimosa Cake Auto right from the start! Notice how there are random little plants coming up, as well as mycelium, moss, et cetera? The system already starts to stabilize itself and creates a breeding ground for all sorts of organisms that - in the end - will benefit the symbiosis and longevity of said system. About this grow 01: Mimosa Cake had water contact on 01.12.25, Gorilla Z on 04.12.25. Mimosa Cake broke through the soil on 04.12.25, Gorilla Z on 07.12.25. The documentation starts at 04.12.25 (so you have to add about 3 days to the Mimosa Cake to get the real age including the germination). 02: I used the nutrients tab to show the light intensity (ml/l) (I will rarely fertilize because of the living soil). 03: This is a low-noise, low-budget grow (less than €200 acquisitional cost, less than €20 per month, less than 30 dB). I don't use an air filter and try to minimize every use of electricity (the system can't draw more than 105 W). I will try to add an Info tab as soon as I've figured out how. 😅 04: This works, because the goal is to learn how living soil (and nature really) works - healthy plants are just a side effect. To this end, I am intensively engaged with the biological functioning of plants (which is also an important part of my profession as a product designer focused on biomimicry). I take what is known, question it, compare it with knowledge from a wide range of disciplines, and try to develop a system that is as durable and as efficient as possible. 05: So, yes, I could use higher PPFD + increase the substrate temperature to 26°C, but that would be inefficient (in my setup) because none of the values are in a critical range right now and stay like that naturally because of the ambient enviroment (just so that you understand my reasoning for this experiment).

This week we moved the plants to a more secluded location, which was easier with small autopots. Leveling and terracing the equipment was a pain. I put individual 6 gallon reservoirs for each plant. This allows me about three days before filling up the reservoirs. The biggest problem again was the plants falling over because of wind. They have hit the ground over 20 times, maybe thirty. Each time this dumps the reservoir, so I had to make a ton of water this week. But they keep chugging along. I staked and wired them down and so far so good for three days. The plants are big, with my biggest being 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall. They have mostly recovered from falling over so many times. The branches have hardened so I can’t really stretch out the branches anymore. They’re tighter than I planned…. Flowering has started and should start stacking up on one or two of the plants next week. I’m just running Jack’s RO for weeks 4 to 8. I may start with some fulvic and humic acid soon. She has been a pig drinkin al the water every 6 hours in this tiny spam DWC. she grew another 12 in this week alone bubba cheesecake is groing like its onsterods and workin out

Plants are looking good, some yellow leaves, pulled them. Added B-52 to the nite mixture this week, it might help slow down the yellowing, will see by the end of the week.

11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1 hours, rough trim. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wa 465grams. From one of the videos you can see where 3 of her branches were broken because they were tied down. Self inflicted supercrop. A testament to how resilient these genetics are.

The northern lights 10 seedling has a smell of skunk it’s pretty nice I hope it stacks nicely like a skunk plant it’s one of the biggest and bushiest plants in the tent and seems to like to branch out This past week was smooth sailing and I topped all the plants

Producing more resin now colas are starting to fill in Typical jack herer fuel smell coming from them Buds look quite light green at this stage EC 1.5 Coming up to the half way mark on a 10 week strain flowered early at 19 days of light after germination Normally plants flowered that have received fewer than 30 days veg tend to look a little bit behind schedule until week 6 to 7 when they catch up So far the SH pheno & the Fire OG are maturing at a standard rate at 35 days of flower they look like 28 to 30 days worth of flower development I expect this to catch up by day 45 at day 45 they should look like a standard 45 days of flowering development The slow phenotype has only been allowed a little bit of space this one looks like a 12week + plant I will only allow it 10 weeks it's too small to be worth waiting for her to finish Day 37 Removed some leaves at the middle of the canopy to help with light penetration Day 39 resin production and colas filling in has increased significantly over last few days starting to smell like pine along with the fuel no citrus smell

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Not much to report this week. Going well, 4 more male growths. These girls are on autopilot for the next 4 or 5 weeks. Finally done the last big defoliation. I am happy with the amount of tips, I dont mind sacrificing a little size and quality for a potentially much larger yeild. No real stretch to be seen, I guess the scrog is to blame for that. A side note, I may have a little bit of a micro nutrient deficiency, iron in particular. I know this is rare but I did miss the iron last week, long story. Its presenting from the top down with choloris near the leaf base moving outwards. I also think I have a slight k abundance at this stage but the plant should take care of that as it begins to demand more.

Seventh week, day 46, keeping on cropping and LST, dominant colas in #1 have been fimmed and #3 has been topped. The stretch should start within a few days. Feeding schedule is going to change just after the stretch.

Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

Lilly x White Widow is doing great under the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights, in the Athena blended line nutrition. The canopy just got lollipopped. I also selectively defoliated the canopy. She has started to show her first pistils. Everything is looking great.
