This week the smell and bud sites are starting to show. I had to cut out the hygrozyme as it fouls the reservoir no matter what I do. I hand water it when I remember which isn't often. Bumped the EC to 1000 per feeding still at 5x a day with just Floraflex B1 and B2 with CalMag and Drip Clean. Wattage is at 120. Distance is around 16 to 18". Guna do a MAJOR defoliation early next week

Keeping an eye on her for any signs of stress. Transplanted to a 3 gallon pot on 4/18. Dirt settled more than I anticipated therefore had some extra space on top of he pot, hence the crease. I have been using 25% of the light intensity up to today which I increased now to 50%. No nutrients have been added so far. Will be looking into LST by next week since at the moment when I bend the plant some leaves touch the dirt. Also got a new sensor for temperature a humidity that allows you to see trends thru the day.

Chopped and hanging in the smaller tent, I’ll be back with edits for jarring and curing… The Acapulco Gold smells like sour green apple WarH3ad candies 🍏 leaves my nose tingling. The Laughing Buddha smells tropical, lot going on in its profile I’m not quite sure what kind of fruit cocktail it reminds me most of but it’s more sweet and creamy. Next up, I moved 4x clones of the Laughing Buddha into the 4x4 tent, and setup drip irrigation. 💧I’ll start up that log soon. 🤘 I’m high.. HIGHLY recommend grabbing these strains from Barney’s Farm. 🏆

Clones did well. Cutting were placed directly in moist grow plug and I kept the best performers. Moving them to temporary containers. Defoliated anything at or below head level. Let's start flowering some plants.

Not much to report this week, strung up the yoyo’s on D60, stretch seems like it’s almost over, some of the colas at the back are a couple inches too close but I can’t really get at the back anymore (usual issue with my set up). All bud sites are forming well, time to sit back and watch them bulk up over the next couple weeks 😎

7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.

This was my first grow and I did a bunch of research but I mostly figured it out as I went and I really enjoyed this strain. It was very resistant and took about 90-92 days from germination to harvest. The strain seemed to bounce back extremely well even after a heavy trimming. Did not really run into any health issues with the strain other than what I diagnosed as Leaf Septoria which is caused from to much humidity and not enough circulation. But overall will grow again and was very accurately advertised by Canuk Seeds. Ended up with 256grams from this grow which I was pleasantly surprised with. Saved all the shake and made Cannabutter and Bubble Hash. Both turned out okay but with room for improvement in the future.

D64/FD36 - Not much to really talk about this week. Things still ticking along. Sweet Cherry Pie not changing my mind yet that its a 10 week strain (Even though everything points to it "supposed" to be an 8 week one!!!). It put on a few more inches again last week (As can be seen in the time lapse!). Defs going forward, only 1 strain per res and I think "Cookies" based breeds will be it for me as they're so easy worked with. RAM Oscillating Fans...again, barely 10 days running and it has died!!! WTF! Hydro place will be willing to change again but its a joke, the batch is useless!!! Not the Hydro Shops fault though! They're bending over backwards as I do a good bit of business with them! :) Apart from that, dropped my EC by 0.2 this week (Pulled back on the base and bloom by 10-15%) just because they're drinking but not taking on food at any big rate - rather not poison the roots with a rising EC when they have a wee swallie to themselves!!! Changed the CalMag to Biobizz calmag as no nitrogen in it (it is a lot dirtier in a tank though which is the down side!!!). Apart from that, no real big changes. Happy Growing all!!! 💪

The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are. usually companies would charge more. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. Buenas tardes jardineros!!! Hoy actualizo las preciosas la rica, que como podeis observar están preciosas y verdonas. Sigo informándome todo lo que puedo sobre cultivos de interior para tener el máximo control posible sobre esta cosecha de florecientes. De momento ni rastro de plagas, he notado como unas crecen un poco más rápidas que otras, pero la diferencia es mínima y no estoy haciendo distinciones entre ambas. Espero que tengaís un gran día y que a pesar de estos tiempos de incertidumbre y encierro, al menos podemos disfrutar de un gran pasatiempo como es la jardinería. Nos vemos para la semana. Week 8 of Flower 🌸. Trichomes are milky . Going to keep these ladies going one more week and just feed them water with a little molasses . Excited about harvest . But the buds aren’t very dense. Even thought they are pretty big . So I’m guessing the yield won’t be as big as it looks .
