Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. Welcome to week 3 of veg. They’ve been growing about 1” per day lately. I’m planning to SCROG these three girls with a portable scrog screen. Supplies arrive today and I’m anxious to test this. (Note that my portable scrog screen didn’t work, so I’m using a 2x4 stretch screen). So far the self watering feeders are working well. The reservoir ph does tend to climb, so I make regular adjustments by adding RO water to the nutrient mix and using ph down. The PPM of the nutrients is climbing too, so adding RO dilutes that. As an example, it had climbed from 925 ppm to 1080 ppm overnight. I diluted it back down to 880 ppm. Saturday: installed scrog net Sunday: checked reservoir ph (6.4) and ppm (970). Added ph down. Adjusted scrog net. Discoloration in leaves appears to be worsening. Waiting for a new dehumidifier to arrive. With all of the humidity that the fiber pots put off, I’m going to need a dehumidifier in flower. Monday: ran pipes for humidifier, heater and dehumidifier through a different tent outlet. I’m ready to start dehumidifying at flower flip. Removed humidifier since I won’t need it until after the harvest (I dry in my tent ideally). Topped off reservoir water with a heavy emphasis on CalMag. Reservoirs are at a ph of 6.0 and 750ppm. Lowered ppm due to start of burnt leaf tips on one plant. Wednesday. Lowered ph in reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1 with ph down and diluted nutrients. Lowered ppm from 780 to 700. Removed growth below the SCROG net. Adjusted lighting to a DLI of 35 which proved too intense for the plants, so I backed it down to 30 DLI. Thursday: wrapped up the week by giving them a foliar spray after lights went out. Feeding 5ml/g or CalMag and 30ml/g of Seaweed Extract. Topped off reservoirs using 6ml/g of micro, 9ml/g of Bloom, Seaweed and 2ml CalMag.

Day 28: Welcome to week 5 start , the ladies are killing it in the house !!!!. These strains are amazing growers all round. While building the framework for their flowering period they responded well and agreed to stay put with a bit of tying down and supercropping. Since that point and flipping to flower , they set off sending every possible budlet to the canopy top. I felt bad stripping so many hopefuls out and reduced their numbers quite a bit all round. The remaining buds are the most stacked and lonely to be worthy of drying. FFT#1 Looked a little sparse after her strip with not too many mains to show for her age but the last few days have changed my concerns as she has put it all into the others rapidly. Bud stacking is nice and close but I have left some of the skinny stacks on the outer edge to fill out too.She needs the help !. FFT#5 is showing #1 how to force your way into the best position !!!. It is a nice sized plant for a limited height grow room. The training of these is a must if your per plant yield is to be achieved in my opinion. She has responded perfectly to the lst and bending and her lower framework has produced a lot of very workable mains. FFT#7 Still continues to be the biggest in the house and is looking very tightly stacked. Like #5 , she has some chunky little buds to create baseball bat colas. The main stem at the soil is so thick and bulbous now that I will need a chainsaw for harvesting. They are all producing frost and oil when rubbed a little and there are distinctive smells between them that are familiar and range from fruity to sour ish diesels. Seeing their size now with another possible 4weeks to go at least , 2 of which will be bud swelling weeks , fills me with hope of a great harvest from these winning genetics . I will be a buyer of these strains when released without a doubt. Roll on the other 9 to try out. Until next week , stay safe and sane , enjoy the family/Home time.

Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.

Day 50. Mix some fish blood, bat guano and eggs shell mix and add to nutrients and let it turn to super tea. Have look how it is going on… Day 52. Watering with before recorded nutrients mix option.. Day 55. Watering with 2.5L nutrient mix and for balance pH level add extra 0.5mL ph down.

Big week here. Got the girls transplanted to their 7 gallon pots. First time with pots this big. Gonna really let them grow. Got a little water with BT and mycorrhiza.

I started Flushing two plants as there nearing the end of there days. I'll start Flushing the others this week apart from the kalimist indica pheno as it started flowering 3 or so weeks after the others even though they were all forced together. (alkward bugger) Some of the plants are showing red /purple colours a little bit 👍

This strain was given to me in really bad shape because a friend of mine couldn’t take care of it. I didn’t even expect it to live but I nursed it back to help and it was a really unique smell to the buds. It flowered really late but I waited until it was a good time to pick and it turned out really good for my first grow.

hi guys, although the plant was born at the end of summer it is growing well and fast, the vegetative growth lasted about 4 weeks

By week 5, I could clearly see the difference between the two auto plants. The first one, I purposely used the LST technique to inhibit. And the second one, I let it grow naturally. The result is that naturally grown plant tend to thrive and flowering faster than the other. When the plants showed signs of flowering, I tried to make the plants thirsty without watering for 2 days, then watered the plants with nutrient solution so the plants could absorb the nutrients well. The results are very positive. I will keep updating, please follow my diaries if you are interested. Peace!

7/18 Plants are looking great. I was able to rearrange the plants so they have a little bit more space and so I can get around every plant. I have small random pest damage (i.e. I caught a four lined plant bug while hunting jpn beetles) but not enough h to warrant treatment. I will probably spray before flower. Sun's out amd plants were praying. I rotated a couple and it only took a few hours for them to "straighten out." I went to look again rhis morning and made the final determination to expand the cage. I'm looking for the 2x4's and the wire in the next couple days. The work that ive done now will but me sometime. I wonder how this rain impacted my soil. 7/19 Plants are looking fantastic. The stretch is starting. One purple punch looks like it's beginning to flower. I think I'm entering the transition period. Jpn beetle damage is evident but not significant. I defoliated a leaf with a a leafminwr or something in it. It's so much easier to get around the plants now. I'm seeing some chunks missing sporadically though. Went to the roses out back and found TONS of jpn beetleson top of each other reproducing. They destroyed that rose bush. I'm going to keep it as a trap plant. My dad's girlfriend wanted to spray it but that doesn't make sense as theflowers are all gone. Dad's grabbing the materials to extend the cage today I think. Right now I can get around every plant but the two big ones in the back. I just cant get to the backs of them and they are huge. Almost reaching the top of the cage. A 4'-6' extension will do wonders in flower. Can't wait. UPDATE: Dad got the 2x4's and we assembled the extension and attached it. He's grabbing the wire as I type this. This worked out beautifully. I had no idea how big the blueberry cheese in the 50 gallon was! This extension (4ft i think) is PERFECT! Then I can get a little extra wire and pull it out if I wanted to. I think I have another 2x4 that I'm going to use in the middle. Lots of great pics and a video I'll upload tomorrow. Hot af today and humidity still super high. Even the commercial dudes was surprised I don't have wpm l and that judging by some of my plants structure that I may do better than I think. I certainly hope so. I WATERED 3 GALLONS OVER THE WHOLE GARDEN. The blueberry cheese in smart pots were drooping. They drink far more water than tje others. I would've given more but we are supposed to have thunderstorms. I left my back tarp off for the night. It will increase airflow and wind is down. I feel like this is going to be my year. 7/20 I updated and loaded everything on the app but notjing would save. Did it again in the website hopfully this saves i didnt put it all up. Didn't water the plants today. Bags seemed okay weight wise. Good thing I did the extension yesterday because those three plants were drooping they were so thirsty. I focused most of the water yesterday on those plants that needed it. The others were somewhat dry but still had some weight. Like i said the blc drinks much more water than any of the other plants. I'm impressed with the growth I'm seeing. Especially since I have been being very stingy with the water and I've only fed like twice and that was just the kelp me/you and big bloom in negligible amounts. I'm watching for deficiencies. I'm just not seeing them. I'm picking up the wire and finishing the extension and then rearranging things. I'll update. UPDATE: WATERED 4 GALLONS CONCENTRATING ON THE PLANTS THAT WERE DROOPING THE MOST. FINISHED ENCLOSURE AND INCREASED PLANT SPACE. TRELLIS WILL GO UP THIS WEEK. VIDEOS WILL BE UPLOADED TOMORROW. 7/21 I should've watered more volume last night. I noticed two plants that seemed much lighter than the rest. After some deliberation I gave them each a half gallon of water. One was the purple punch in the 10 that's huge amd the other was that huge blueberry cheese. I think I'm going to swap places with them, take out a pallet and get some other way to elevate that ONE plant and I'll have even more room. Then I'll add my supports. It's a dream working in there now. I noticed some small interior leaves being used up and dieing. I defoliated them but it was only a couple. I'll need to start nutes at some point. Doesn't need it yet though. I'm going to add some kelp me/you for the heat stress. I need to get the watering down better but it's more difficult when they each have different needs. I kinda have to read the plant. I'd rather be overwatered than underwatered. I tried to upload what I could but some won't. UPDATE: I went over to clip off some fencing that was doubled up AND just to check on tge girls. Found two caterpillars (small but hairy so they were older not the inch worms and possibly what has been contributing to damage on those plants. Things are spread out so it will be harder for insects to move from plant to plant and I have better air flow. I worry that leaving my tarp off might lead to high winds and plants not able to take it buf I digress. I'll add supports later. Plants are huge and drinking far more water than I've been giving them. When I got there several were drooped right over and dry as a bone. The bags are essentially all roots now. I mixed up 8 gallons of water and split it between the plants. I gave less to the two Co trainer plants that weren't drooping and the 10 I watered yesterday that wasn't drooping but for the most part the ones that needed if got at least a gallon or more. The others a little under a gallon. It might rain A LITTLE tonight too. Oh, and since it's been so hot I added 1/2 tsp per gallon of kelp me kelp you to help the plants deal with heat stress. I also noticed that some of the very bottom interior leaves are being used up. I have a feeling ill need to switch to nutes pretty soon. Plus I need to suppirt those plants if I'm going to leave that tarp off and Gove them air. Took a video. But it won't upload here. I'll have to wait till tomm. 7/22 Didn't have much timevthis morning bit I dod a video. Boy those plants loved that water and that kelp. This morning everyone was standing straight up at attention. Supposed to get rain last night but didn't. Good thing I watered. I think I'm going to up the water next watering and then again to the 10% mark if necessary. Especially with the Blueberry cheeses. I'm noticing that a FEW INTERIOR leaves are showing nute deficiencies so I'm probably going to have to start feeding soon. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back over and cut off the extra wire. I'm going to need to water more volume. Specifically on two plants. The two huge blueberry cheese in 20 gallon smart bags dries out much faster than the rest. I'll have to out that on a different schedule or increase the amount given. Next watering will be 1.5 or 2 gallons a plant and it might be tomorrow from what I was seeing. It's super hot and with the added airflow the bags dry out faster. I also went through EACH plant looking for pests and defoliating old leaves that needed it. Plants are still nice and green but a VERY few older interior leaves are showing deficiencies. I know this is Normal especially since they are trying n g to transition to flower. I also saw pest damage on a couple plants. Four lined plant bug. I already found the one on the other plant and killed it but I'm considering doing a spray before flower. I'm thinking either captain Jack as a "catch all", BT which works great but mostly just on pillars or the organocide bee safe 3 in one pesticide. I also have pyrethium and other things. Thus far picking things off manually has been good enough. At the very least they will get an application of BT very soon. 7/23 Held off on watering this morning. Supposed to get thunder storms I DID split a gallon with two blueberry cheese that were the lightest in the 20 gallon smart pots. Thet drink way more. My water volume is going to need to increase. We haven't had nearly enough rain. I'm going to bump it up to 1.5 to 2 gallons each plant which will be 10% for the 20s and a little less for the others. I'm still seeing various pest damage. Nothing bad but I found another couples leaves that were chomped on by a four lined plant bug so I'm debating applying something tonight when I water. I'm also noticing old leaves being used up and some interior leaves showing slight deficiencies. It will be time to start nutes soon. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: GOT THE FEELING I NEEDED TO CHECK THE PLANTS. SOMETHING DODNT LOOK RIGHT ON THE CAMS. WENT OVER AND EVERY PLANT BUT THE TWO I SPLIT A GALLON WITH AND THE PLANT IN THE 50 WERE DROOPED RIGHT OVER. LIFELESS. I SHOULD'VE WATERED THIS MORNING BUT I DIDNT HAVE TIME. I FIGURED THEY COULD WAIT UNTIL NIGHT. EACH PLANT GOT 1.5 GALLONS AT LEAST. I USED SIXTEEN OR SEVENTEEN GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. I GAVE EACH CONTAINER PLANT ONE GALLON AND GOT RUN OFF FROM BOTH. IM NOTICING SKIGHT FADING IN LEAVES BUT IM NOT INTRODUCING NUTES TO UNDERWATERED PLANTS. I THINK 10% IS GONNA BE TGE MAGIC NUMBER. 2 GALLONS EACH. EVEN THE 10 GALLON SMART POT. ALMLST AS BIG AS THE 30S BUT DRIES OUT QUICKER. 7/24 Plants looked fantastic this morning. Defoliated a few leaves that needed it. Showed my commercial buddy and he said things looked fantastic. Since the soils still holding nutes and I'm not seeing many deficiencies I may hold off on feeding. I'm starting early flower now. I will be using nutes soon. I think ive got the watering schedule pretty much down.

I've been having a tough time with shipping getting things I need to properly control my environment and running into issues. I have invested in a new; 4x5 Vivosun tent to give the bigger plants more room, a Spider Farmer 1000 ( MrCanucks, a guy I learned a lot from on YouTube did a paid trial of this product with pretty great results, thought I'd try compared to my current crappy LED.), Sizing down to 1 and 3gal fabric pots for a softer transplant transition next go around, the hygrometer/thermometers, some more appropriate sized fans for the tent ( Genesis clip on and treveda circulating fan) to help with general airflow. Overall I'm actually very happy with all my first set plants (the bigger ones), most seem to be producing multiple sites and growing bigger every day. Noticed the seedlings having trouble about two to three days ago at most. Honestly did not give them the attention they needed. First though it was nutrient deficiency or lockout, maybe, overwatering. Finally checked the soil good and seen how clay like and thick it had become, then took a few out their cups and seen the roots we're choking. I have a grow question up wondering whether I should try to save the seedlings or scrap them in favor of more light for the bigger plants that are obviously growing well? Until next week! Happy growing and much love to all! ✌️🌱 -UPDATE- So I ended up receiving my new Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED grow light and my two fans a bit ahead of schedule today! ☺️ Got the Treveda circulating fan and Genesis clip on fan. Reset all the plants to better benefit from the new gear and a couple other things. Need video I uploaded shows the most current setup. I moved all my bigger 1st set seed to the left side and hung the SF LED to about 20.5-21in from the tallest of the 4 of those plants. Most all are at least 9 inches. I moved the ring of the 1st set and seedlings to the right side under the Vivosun 600W at about 24in. Still haven't received much feedback on my grow question regarding my seedlings. Since I wasn't quite what to do, I ended up leaving them out of the cups and putting them in my germination tray. My hope is I can keep the plants surviving long enough off of regular sprayings and using the tray as a make shift nutrient reservoir until the soil and pots finally arrive. Week 14 - Day 93 Still need some time Updates coming😊 Day 95 this gonna be the last one in the tent so in Europe it's 5 pm now I gonna wait for midnight then she gonna get 48h darkperiod and then harvested. Most of the thrichromes started to get amber. I got 75% cloudy and some clear maybe 5% the rest is amber. This was a long run never expected this but I think she gonna be the strongest and yield the most. Smell is very very strong Diesel, Mint, Citrus. This smells like pure haze but don't know its my first Girls Scout cookies. We will see, so that's all so far I gonna do the full upgrade when she's dried and rdy to cure.✌️

Week 16 (Harvest) 1-2 Drying day 1 Temperature: 24.5 to 19.5 degrees Humidity: 65% to 50% The girls are ready to be harvested! Before chopping them down, i took a lot of pictures. I was able to remove most of the soil from the Biscotti #2 to see the rootball. I hang the plants as a whole to have a slow dry. The exhaust fan is on setting 4. 2-2 Drying day 2 Temperature: 19.1 to 17.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 57% I changed the exhaust fan to setting 2 because setting 4 was a bit high in my opinion. 3-2 Drying day 3 Temperature: 19.9 to 18 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked up on the drying plants, and i see there are some buds touching other buds, so i chopped the plants in half. The buds are still to the main stem for a slow dry, but are hanging more spreaded out to prevent any budrot issues. I changed the exhaust fan to setting 1, as someone told me that it was enough air movement for drying. 4-2 Drying day 4 Temperature: 19.8 to 18.5 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% 5-2 Drying day 5 Temperature: 19.9 to 18.8 degrees Humidity: 62% to 59% Today i checked on the drying plants and the buds are shrinking a bit, they are getting a little bit crispy on the outside aswell, I hope they wont dry as fast, and i aim for a 12/14 day dry. For the next grow i already germinated 2x Chemdog (GreenHouseSeeds) 2x Gorilla Kush (GanjaFarmerSeeds) and 1x Deep Candy CBD (GreenHouseSeeds) And I have some upgrades planned aswell! I bought a autopot kit with 4 15L pots, this way the plants will have water and air 24/7 whenever they need it. I have seen alot of great results using autopots so i am very exited to try it out! Another week of veg for our Fast Version B from super sativa seeds club. At the beginning of the week we gave some bactrex and orgatrex from biotabs. The plant is evolving good! Nice and green
