Added humidifier. A bit late but I keep it pumped up during lights go. It will stay around 60-70 for the next three weeks. Looking to encourage some stretching. Plants are very short and bushy. I may not even need a scrog. Lets see how they grow over the next few weeks. 10/29 The ladies seem to really like the extra humidity. They are still vegging as to be expected. moving on along. Amazed every time i open the tent. Anxiety waiting is the worst. So i also started another gsc in coco a few weeks back.

Week 2 began very routine so far I have only watered with pH adjusted water and no nutrients yet. But looking to do a 1/4 strength feeding the next time I water. 10/26/2018 - Catzilla damaged 3 plants!!! I left the tent open for 5mins to get some water and by the time I was back the damage had been done. I am hoping they will still pull through. Any suggestion on what I can do to help save them??? First day of third week, its been 15 days since they got fresh air for the first time! Its been quite amazing to see them grow pretty fast, since this is all new for me im pretty amazed! Plant two, being the one in the middle, has much larger leafs than the others, but i guess thats because its directly under the LED, i wanna start LSD training but tbh i have no idea what to do with so smal space * and i have zero practice with this! Plant two is also showing some yellowing signs on the tip of new leafs which i have to figure out why! asking some help in forums aswell now and see what i can change, i havent introduce them to bloom nutrients yet and that also might be it, will see what to do very soon! Might need to also increase biogrow levels on that one, since shes taking more light than the other two and growing faster, was wondering if switching places between them would help for now im watering them daily each with 0.5L per day, with a 1ml/l of BioGrow, no idea if i should increase it or not, but ill learn

Ok had some teething problem. My first pack of seeds only 1 germinated so had Tovar’s order more, 2nd lot cracked no problem and is pushing up in the plugs hopefully a day or 2 and they should be Out the soil.

So I set up the veg room at last since I want to flip the main plant. That meant light proofing it, which I did with air con putty, myler blanket layers and A LOT of duct tape. It's not pretty but I hope it will get the job done! Perpetual grow is the grow, harvesting every 2 months. The clone I made from topping got transplanted to a solo cup, and I can see a root through the clear inside cut so I guess she is doing her thang., Also added lights to the flower booth so it should have 153w. Put 4 led bulbs with the tops popped off to see how they go, apparently, they are more economical than cfls? And I am considering what to do for side lighting, leds might be a choice because they have a lower profile, Or LED strips? Or fluorescent tubes? I guess it's not neccisary for this grow but in the future. I've tied down the main branches so I think they will all have their own space to get light. I think I've done enough training to flip. Can't wait for her to start flowering :)

2nd ever grow and first time using Fastbuds genetics. I'm running 3x Six Shooter, 2x Pineapple Express and 1x Crystal Meth. I'll be starting diaries shortly for the other 2 strains as I'm hoping that these plants might be good enough to enter in diary of the month competition. I was supposed to be going with 3x Shooter and 3x Pinapple express but unfortunately even though I germinated 4 of each, only 50% of my seeds sprouted. I know theres only 2 six shooter in the photo but a friend of mine has one spare from a batch hes germinated so has kindly given it to me. The Crystal meth was a free gift seed so I'm running that in place of the dud pineapple seed. I've put them in a little 1x1x1 veg box that I built this weekend. Made it to fit alongside my larger tent. Plan for these girls is to veg them in the box for 3 weeks under the cheap 300w LED with plenty of co2 then move them to the bigger tent where I have 4x 315w CMH lamps. All 3 will be topped and if I have space will go under a scrog. They are actually only 4 days old since sprouting but I do all of my diaries on a Sunday as I get chilled early and have time to take photos and do weekly reports. See you guys next week!

So this week I took the decision to bend over her cola to clear the lights. I didn't want to scrape any THC off when she's moved 😂 Week 2 of flowering is going well. She's doing her thing.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot.
