Hello Growmies, Week 5 of the G.M.O. grow is upon us, and the ladies are showing their distinct personalities. The tallest plant is now 25 cm, standing proud with a robust stem and that characteristic wide-leaf structure. She's been topped and is bushing out beautifully with 6-8 nodes left to flourish. The second plant, a bit shy at 18 cm, has not been topped yet. She's a testament to the variability of cannabis, as sometimes not all plants align with our schedules. Her smaller stature doesn't mean she won't catch up, but for now, she remains untouched, a potential natural beauty amongst her pruned siblings. Looking at the images, it's clear that the topping has encouraged a fuller canopy in the larger plant. The coloration is deep green, indicating a healthy nitrogen uptake, and the internodal spacing is tight, suggesting good light penetration and strong vegetative growth. The smaller plant, while not topped, has a vibrant color and a vitality that can't be overlooked. With no Tent-X controller in this environment, it's a more hands-on approach, but these G.M.O. girls are thriving under the attentive care they're receiving. Every three days, they've been sipping on a cocktail of Alga Grow, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, ensuring their nutritional needs are fully met. This consistent feeding regimen across the grow is paying off with vigorous growth and the promise of an exceptional flowering phase. Stay lifted, Salokin

I was happy when i've seen the weight, i expected 70 or 80 grams and it's the double. I'm not sure if i will grow this strain again soon, there is plenty of strain waiting to grow.

The girls are doing well so far. Advanced nutrients in combination with the Lumatek Zeus 600W Pro 3.1 is a killer combo. Also the coco substrate is working well so far. I placed them in bigger pots today . 🌱

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

Hey everyone ☺️. After 60 hours, the lady's case was already open :-). Today the seed was placed in soil :-). I only use the soil for cultivation because I have it left and it has to go slowly :-). When repotting, it comes in Canna Coco 👍. I watered the soil with some Canna Rizotonic before the seeds got 1 cm under the soil :-). After that, the pot was placed under a hood in which I sprayed clay every day so that the humidity is between 80-90%. I do this for the first few days until the head looks out of the earth. From this point on, I open the hood at the upper opening bit by bit every few days so that you can slowly get used to 65% humidity before the hood comes down. It is also only poured when the roots are right, until then the earth is sprayed. Which training I will use I will decide spontaneously when the time comes :-). Until then, I wish you all a lot of fun with the update. Let it grow and stay healthy 🙏🏻🍀 You can buy this Strain at : https://originalsensible.com/original-sensible-seeds-zkittlez~20503 Type: Zkittlez ☝️🏼 Genetics: Afghan Kush Indica x Grandaddy Purple x Grapefruit hybrid 👍 Vega lamp: 2 x Todogrow Led Quantum Board 100 W 💡 Bloom Lamp : 2 x Todogrow Led Cxb 3590 COB 3500 K 205W 💡💡☝️🏼 Soil : Canna Coco Professional + ☝️🏼 Fertilizer: Green House Powder Feeding ☝️🏼🌱 Water: Osmosis water mixed with normal water (24 hours stale that the chlorine evaporates) to 0.2 EC. As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!

1st photo We did the scrog, it helped us a little more to use as support to tie the branches with threads and manipulate them as we wanted, so we tamed it. but they kept growing as my colleague affirms

Special thanks to @DreamIT for showing me how to add music and animation to video. Check out my fountain video above for a short clip. Thanks to @UnorthadoxDude for influencing me ( by visual curiosity) maybe twisted an arm to buy some carnivors. Well I happened to find some at our annual master gardener plant sale. I will be putting some in the tent. Lots of growth in my carnivores. Flowers on Sundew.

Time for another update! During Week 9 Light defoliation on bottom canopy Added 1 heaping tbsp of GEO Bloom dry amendment 3-12.5-9 with regular PH'd water Watering every 3 days with 1/2 liter of water or more. Trying to keep soil moist without drying out. Seems to be improving the plants Plan week 10 Installing ViparSpectra XS2000 light to help with better light coverage in the 4x4 tent Going to keep RH around 45% and keeping up with airflow Planning to put in dehumidifier in upcoming week if necessary Weaning down on light defoliation at this point. Happy with how these girls are doing! Hoping the new light set up with the ViparSpectra XS2000 will make a difference in yield this far into flower. Trying to combat a little bit of light burn happening at the moment as well. Thanks for checking in! See you next week
