F+30 20190126 - FB#2 has started showing some clawing, and I will have to do some research to diagnose. F+31 20190127 - With the help of some forum inquiries, there was a Nitrogen Toxicity appearing to start on FB#2. To be safe, since both plants got the same amount, they were both flushed with unfiltered, PH corrected, tap water. F+32 20190128 - Both flowers appeared to have improved since the flush. Nice amounts of Resin are easily visible, and the smell is amazing at this point, like a wift warm berries travelling into my nostrils. So sweet. F+33 20190129 - One more flush today, just to be safe. I adore these fabric smart pots. They drain everything but exactly what needs to be there, and they are easy to handle. I also enjoy being able to bust through the fabric to help with LST. F+34 20190130 - Plants still improving. They appear to have bulked up a bit more, and gained some more frosty resin. F+35 20190131 - I can see more pistils turning orange. I estimate about 2-3 weeks to go. FB#1 appears to be behind in it's maturation, but not its bulk or resin production.

Day 56 At first I thought the purple stemming was genetics but from how small her leafs are at the top i think it was a deficiency. This feed pushes plants hard and some just arent up for it,

The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. 8/24 Week 6 Flower Bea is the big girl of the tent, not by a lot but significant. Hero is not far behind and looking great. Reducing Grow nuets will Increase Bloom as we go. Want a lower EC with lots of runoff for tonight, been pretty high and its going up from here. Looking good what to say? Stretch has started but its very reasonable 8/25 They added an inch and some over night Nuets changed to all Bloom 8ml/gal A&B and Koolbloom 1ml/gal EC at 1500 see if we can keep this until ripening 8/26 Resuming twice a day feeds 8/27 Giving a dose of Kangaroots for their early flower root building this is the last of that. Day 70. So frosty and stinky but I can’t smell because my face is rebelling at me. My sinuses 😂🤦‍♀️🏻 She’s will be hopefully swelling more before her flush out. I’m excited to see her in her full glory.

Watered 3 times with Flawless Finish with 20% run off. After that, flushed everything out with plain water and then watered plain water a few more times with no run off (not all at once😀).. Just waiting on the pot to dry out completely 👌🙌

Gonna keep an eye out for crosses with face off OG! Good outcome for 1st grow👽 BHO made made with whip it premium after about 3 days in freezer with column.

Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering.

Hi Gromie's, well it's the end of another problem free week! Week 9 going into week 10 of veg! I don't usually veg for this long but I'm just trying to get the timing right for perpetual harvest. Plants in flowering tent were harvested & drying now for 5 days, so these girls will be transferred to the flowering tent in the next few days for the start of flowering, I've allready planted new seeds for the following grow, so just trying to get on top of the timing for everything related with perpetual growing. Thinking of setting up a 4x2 tent with a 4 inch extraction fan & filter for drying, so I can cut out around a week, that way as soon as I've harvested & cleaned the tent I can transfer plants from veg instead of having to dry in the flowering tent. Have developed really strong & thick structure's from the H.S.T & L.S.T training. Plants are nice & healthy. Performed 1 last defoliation before they go to flower as they get very bushy quickly.

Earlier in the week, I saw a discolored bud, and upon closer inspection, I found bud rot. Ugh. I immediately cut off the infected bud and the one closest to it. I looked through the canopy but couldn't see any more affected buds. Right after, I went out of town for a few days to Mary Jane, the big Cannabis Conference in Berlin. It was the first one after legalization, and it was wild. I had an awesome time, and it was great to meet up with friends while in Berlin. What wasn't so great was seeing more signs of budrot when I returned home—those days of +85% humidity at the start of last week made the botrytis go brr. Sigh :( Checking the trichomes showed it was still early to harvest, but I decided to chop anyway to save the unaffected buds. I also decided to hang each branch separately, as it would allow me to inspect each one closely to ensure no affected buds made it into the drying tent. Another reason is to decrease the drying time. Usually, I prefer a long dry, but due to botrytis, I aim to speed up the process. Overall, I found 12-15 affected buds, and of course, they're always the nicest-looking buds. I don't care about the yield loss, as more than enough is still left. I only hope the remaining buds are unaffected, and I'll inspect them daily throughout the dry. Now we wait. And hope.

Note: I didn't necessarily flush but I didn't add any more additives or nutrients while away so I've set the nutrient values in the diary to null. --------------------------------------- June 12 (Day 90) --------------------------------------- Away - Camping. --------------------------------------- June 13 (Day 91) --------------------------------------- Away - Camping. After camping, they survived the summer heatwave and look pretty good. The stench in the tent is not like your typical Northern Lights or White Widow. It's straight-up funk that hits you in the back of your throat. I can't really pinpoint any specific scents but it's a very rich and pungent odor for sure. I’m 100% confident the roots are probably degrading with rot after the warm temps. The only problem I had while away is was the AC fills into a 5gallon bucket and it couldn’t keep up with demand about an hour before I got home. After a quick cleanup, I took a closer look and I’m happy with trichomes on both plants. This was supposed to be a 65-75 day fast finisher. Today is day 91. I’m satisfied. I consumed a test bud on weekend that went under a 3 day dry. White ash, no harshness, and punchy in regards to the effects. Chopping them tomorrow.

This week was big for me, I had on back order an eye hortilux ceramic HPS bulb and lighting kit, I was previously using their cmh bulb but as my girl started to get ready to flower I saw the new ligh had to be 36” from the canopy but since my tent is only 6’ I switched early.
