Crazy Week. Despite Buffering COCO-Perl. Medium with Ph adjusted Calmag as well as always feeding ph adjusted nutrients. The Run off Came about 7.6 and the Ppm was at 1050. I wonder what might have caused the Coco to get alkaline. SO I FLUSHED all the 4 Plants several times until got the Run off to sit at 6.2 using only Ph adjusted water(5.5 - 5.6). Afterward ran one more final Run OFF with Nutrients Solution at 5.5.. Now letting them go dry completely. Not at all sure what cause the Ph Hike. But sure enough that has added up to the already stunted growth. Already purchased more PhotoPeriods. By the Time they arrive these auto's should be at least about to be harvested out of the tent. I'm ducked. 1# OG PLANT is mid 5th nodesDevelopment. 2# another OG plant is on early 5th Nodes development. Gelato Auto is on early 5th Nodes development. Gorilla Cookies is on mid 4th Node development. I thought of doing some plant training but no way on this run. I'd be surprised if even get a quarter of an ounce off one plant. Call me God of Faith but I have no other option but to keeping them and letting them do their thing and try to just learn it through everything and anything that come on the way on this stunted run.

I tried to tie down and make an even canopy with FBT2311 and 2312. These two plants are now starting to fill in nicely with pistils and hopefully are nearing the end of stretching FBT2313 is a very stout plant. I beleive that my lights were turned too high and the fan blew too hard, causing a phenotypic response. Much further into flower development then 2311 and 2312. A much smaller plant means ot needs less nutes, but the soil was amended with organic inputs at the beginning of the grow and I didn't cut back on supplement feeding enough, so it seems to have more P and/or K then it needs. I did not need to tie down but I used the trellis as a way to open the canopy some for air flow and light penetraion. FBT2314 ended up slightly larger and stretched a little more then 2313. Flowers are developing nicely and some signs of deficiencies and possible light burn. Otherwise going pretty good. It's difficult to trim the back part of the grow tent so I am letting these ride and see what happens.

June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

This week was fine, that enjoyable I started a new grow. Black sugar by seedsman. The wonderwoman girls are just doing their thing. outside Temps are getting down a bit, 2°c at night so keeping an eye on the tent. I think the lowest it has been in there was 17°c. Hopefully they're OK with that. Trying to see the t

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

Fed nutes at 6.3 pH. Runoff was close to 7 pH. Other than that they look like they're doing well. Very sticky and very fragrant. The leaves of the CBD Blue Shark are a nice dark shiny green. The Wedding Cake is lighter. The profiles of both are starting to come out in the flowers. The CBD Blue Shark has these long, dramatic white pistils. The Wedding Cake is starting to show its creamy colouration with red hairs mixing in with the white and looking very delicious. The smell is incredible in there now. Fruity and creamy and delicious.

D56 - Today is the first day in the eighth week of veg for #2 and the seventh for #1. This will be the final week of veg for the girl as I'm ready to flip in a few days. I did the last heavy defoliation by removing most leaves and branches except the tops. I aim to get the girl to put all the flowering energy into the tops and hopefully result in big colas without popcorn nugs or larf. I did keep a few clones from each girl, though. After defoliation, I sprayed down the girl with my chili tincture to combat the thrips. I took great care to hit all leaves on both sides. This tincture is harsh to work with, and I was coughing like mad, and I damn near filled my N95 mask with snot (yummy!). After all this snot, drool and coughing, I just wanted to be done for the day, so I stressed checking out how my new scrog frame fits. The frame, of course, fell and broke one of the tops clean off. Ugh! I tried to fix it with some tape but the break was in a weird spot and it didn't work. Not a massive deal as it was a corner top, and there will be 15 other tops. Still annoying, but hey, it's my damn fault for stressing. D57 - The girls have bounced back nicely from their heavy defoliation. I just snapped a couple of pics as I hung a blue sticky trap in the tent. I always have regular yellow sticky traps in my tent to monitor pest pressure. However, thrips aren't that interested in yellow but are attracted to blue. D59 - I flipped my lights today from the veg mode to the flower-inducing mode. I have no idea how much these girls will stretch, so better sooner than later. Also, I finally got around to start training one of the tops toward the middle of each girl. (About damn time!) I've thought about it for quite a while but have been ignoring it. The lights are flipped now, so we are almost out of veg time. Now or never! D62 - The girls look healthy, and I can't see any thrip damage on the newer leaves. Fingers crossed that the buggers are gone! I gave each girl around 2.5-liters of water @ pH 6.3.

4/13 10TH planet is doing phenomenal under those aerogarden lights. I'll wait a little bit then I'll bring them over with the others. I'm comparing the growth to the growth of the mk ultra and the chem dog as they are of a more similar age. I watered the 2 mk ultra and the chem dog #4. The others looked alright so I'll check later on. The three in the middle will probably be culled. The may recover but if they don't it doesn't really matter. I'll have what I need. I'm super excited for this season. I shouldve done more 10th planet. The "kush" seedlings are starting to take off. The leaves are finally starting to get bigger and they are developing new growth. WENT BACK OVER AT 1:30. PLANTS WILL NEED TO BE WATERED IN THE MORNING. ONE PLANT WAS DOWN TO 199 GRAMS BUT IT HAS A LITTLE LESS SOIL IN THE CUP. THEY ARE GROWING AT A MORE RAPID PACE AND I DONT WANT TO INTERRUPT THAT. OTHER CUPS WERE LOW BUT NOT READY TO BE WATERED. I THINK EITHER WAY IT WOULD BE FINE BUT IM ERRING ON THE EDGE OF CAUTION. I MAYBE SHOULDVE WATERED THE DRY ONE BUT HINDSIGHT IS 20/20 AND I KIND OF WANT THEM TO BE ON A SIMILAR SCHEDULE. I GRABVED A TACK AND CHECKED THE DRAIMAGE IN THE BOTTOM. I ADDED A FEW MORE HOLES OB THE BOTTOM SIDE. I MAY JUST HAVE TO JUNK THAT MIDDLE ROW OF 3 I STRESSED BY DOING EXACTLY WHAT THE LIGHT MANUAL SAID TO DO. OH WELL I PLANNED FOR THAT WITH THE 2 MK ULTRAS AND THE CHEM DOG #4. ALL ARE DOING GREAT. SOME OF THE SOECIAL AND PINK KUSH ARE GETTING THEIR TERTIARY SET OF LEAVES SO THEY ARE PULLING OUT AND GOING TO TOWN. THE ITHER ONES (MK ULTRA, CHEM DOG, 10TH PLANET) THAT DIDNT GET STRESSED SEEM TO BE GROWING AT A FASTER RATE. I THINK I MIGHT TRY AN AUTO THIS YEAR. I HAVE A FEW BEANS. ILL THINK ABOUT IT BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE FRESH WEED HALF-WAY THROUGH THE SUMMER. 4/14 WATERED ALL THE KUSH WITH A SHOT GLASS. THEY WERE VERY DRY. ONE WAS IN THE 180'S. I FOUND THAT ONE OF THE PLANTS THAT WAS STINTED HAS FALLEN OVER AND WAS LIMP AGAINST THE CUP. I IMMEDIATELY REMOVED TGE TWO SEEDLINGS THAT WERE BY FAR THE WORST AND I ASSUMED I WAS LOSING. I TOOK THE PEAT PELLET OUT AND THE TAPROOT HAD BARELY PENETRATED ONE AND HADN'T PENETRATED IT AT ALL ON THE OTHER ONE. IM NOT USING THOSE PEAT PELLETS AGAIN. ITS WIERD. I'VE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. PLANTS SEEM TO BE DOING GOOD. IM CONSIDERING STARTING ANOTHER SEED OR TWO. MAYBE AN AUTO. Edit. I added mykos amd happy happy frog to the 10th planet in the solo cups. They are already to the top. I watered them with a shot glass of water amd some mykos. 4/15 I added soil to the top of the cup on kush plants and watered them with a shot glass. It seems like I may need to up the water as it's only lasting about a day. I'm seeing some slight stretching but I have no idea why. They are just seedlings and it's a 150watt hps light! Last year I used 2! I think they needed to stay under the cfl's a little longer and thatci nightve stressed them prematurelyremoving some helmet heads. Or maybe they are having problems breaking through the pear netting. I'll tell you one thing im NEVER using peat pellets again. I have other seeds and autos I could start if needed. I have what i need but if I lose a few more I'll be pissed. Maybe better to startca couole more. Those 10thvplanet are doing amazing and blowing past everything else. They look so healthy. I'm going to download a light meter on dad's iPhone and get some readings with all the different lights today. 4/16 I was able to download a FREE app for a light meter. Apple has one bit you have to pay for readings of any of the "good" lights. I had a very hurried morning and didn't take any pictures. That one special kush that was burned like the other two I threw away (or damaged when I removed the helmet head) is starting to look like it has some NEW growth. I've kept it but a little ways away from the others. I weighed all cups and they didn't seem to need water. I AGAIN packed dry soil into a cup to get a reading. Still 200. When they get within 10 grams of dry weight I'll water them. I measured and found I had the light further away than it should be. I lowered it to approx 3ft from the top of the canopy. I'll try to map the area and see what I'm getting for results. Then I'll plug in my L.E.D and see what I get. I only lowered the light because readings (that may be inaccurate) say it's not enough and two years ago when I used this light i used two. That is unnecessary I think for seedlings. I'm just trying to get them through seedling phase intact so I can move to veg and switch my light. Transplantvinto one gallons. This is where patience comes in. I'm sure everything will be fine. I just am a worrier. 4/17 I used that light meter to check the ppfd. It says it should be between 100-200 but it was only reading at like 65 and this was after I lowered the light. I'd need to go down a ways to get anywhere close. I tried to check my l.e.d and that was low so I can switch back fine. Especially with the light meter app. However the plants seem to be doing better and have tertiary leaves so I'm hesitant to change things when they seem like they are having a growth spurt. I may take the 2 mk ultras and put them with 10th planet since they are doing so good. Won't let me upload pictures. WATERED ALL THE KUSH WITH A SHOT GLASS. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AND USED THE PHONE APP METER ON THE LATEST IPHONE. I LOWERED THE LIGHT RO A LITTLE UNDER THREE FEET. THAT GAVE ME ABOUT 100-120 ON THE HOTTEST SPOT AND LESS FURTHER AWAY OBVIOUSLY. IM TAKING THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT. I MEASURED ME 100 WATT LED AND WITH BOTH SWITCHES ON I CAN REACH OVER 100 EASY FROM FAIRLY FAR AWAY. ILL BE MONITORING GROWTH AND DECIDING HOW TO MOVE FORWARD FROM THERE. I TOOK THE DOMES OFF THE 19TH PLANET BUT THE LEAF TIPS STARTED TO CURL. THE NEED TO BE HARDWNED OFF. THE CFL WAS TO CLOEE AND BRIGHT BUT MORE SO WAS THE RH OF THIS BUILDING WHICH IS PRACTICALLY NOTHING. ILL HAVE TO MOCE THEM WITH THE OTHERS. UNTIL THEN I POKED HOLES WITH A TAC ALL OVER THE DOME. THAT WAY IT CAN VENT A LITTLE BIT. I'LL SLOWLY ACCLIMATE UT TO THE LOW RH INDOORS BEFORE THE GO TO THE 100RH OUTDOORS LOL. 4/18 Didn't water this morning because things were over 20grams dry weight. Came back around one and weighed and most were within the 20 grams. One was under 200. I can see more growth since the light adjustment but I still see some stretching. But I've seen noticeable growth in a short period. I'm contemplating waiting to see what happens for a few days or to just switch to my l.e.d using my meter as a guide. Even though the box tells you how far to hang it. I'm bringing the aerogarden over to the grow tomorrow. I have a few more as well. I'm going to check that with the light meter and am considering putting the mk ultras and maybe the chem dog under that. I mean those are doing great. I poked more holes in the dome and have been exposing the plants to low rh and increased light. They don't have immediate effects anymore. I have the domes popped open too. They are gett9ng acclimated. Realistically I'm wondering if I should just pop more 10th planet or mk ultra or an auto but looking through my other diaries things will be fine. I worry to much and I usually grow clones. Outdoors. Plus most of my stuff was stolen so I'm making use of things the best I can. My money is going into good soil. I also checked the temperature at the hottest spot under the light and it was 80 degrees. This is telling my I can't really lower my light anymore. I've got some thinking to do. EDIT: 10th Planet has done well all day without a humidity dome in this extremely low rh. I'm going to bring them and the aerogarden to the grow tomorrow. I have my l.e.d setup to test. I plan to use the light meter to see what is closest to the correct ppfd. A lot of it will be gut feeling too. I'm interested to see the reading on the new aerogarden bulbs. Those seedlings are doing awesome. 4/19 Didn't water this morning I don't think. I was hurried. Got back and found one seedling that had been growing some bigger leaves just flat on the cup. Luckily I had noticed it drooping (should've watered) and picked up a straw on the way home. It weighed 180 grams. Everything was low and I MAY have watered yesterday bit I don't think so. With this hps so close its bringing the temp up to 80. I checked the cfl aerogarden lights. Wow are those bright! I had to raise them to get in range. I put the mk ultra and chemdog under the aerogardeb light. It's about 300 bit it has a couple hot spots that bring it up to like 4k-5k. The 10th planet's loved it though and did great. I held my hand over the plants and it seemed ok. Now for the hps light and the pink kush and special kush #1. I put my tatu 100 watt (1000 watt equivelant lol) 248ns above the seedlings I had just watered. Since that hps dried everything out so much I gave them 2 shot glasses. I'll keep monitoring things. I feel like this is the best bet for me. If I fuck something up I'll have to pop more 10th planet and mk ultra ect. But I've got to make sure things are in the right range. If it stretches a little I'll just have to repot it a little sooner than the others. When they outgrow the solos they go to 1 gallon. Tomorrow I'm picking up AT LEAST a bag of fox farm ocean forest so I'll be ready for transplant when necessary. I need to get all my pots together and bring the other hps to my cousin to fix. However when they get bigger I might just use the l.e.d AND the hps if I had too.

Week 6 Report: White OG – Shaping Her Future 🌟 We’re at Week 6 of veg, and the White OG is thriving like a superstar! This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Let’s dive into what went down this week and why it’s all so important for her journey. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Nutrient Routine: Trusting the Pellets This week, I’ve continued with the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets as the primary nutrient source. They’re working their magic, providing a steady release of nutrients to support her vigorous growth. As a backup plan, I’m always ready to reintroduce All-in-One Liquid if she starts showing signs of needing more immediate nutrition. For now, she’s thriving, and the pellets are doing an excellent job of meeting her needs. Training and Future Plans Topping a few branches this week was just the beginning. I’m planning to continue topping over the next few weeks to shape her into a bushy, evenly distributed plant. By focusing on creating a strong structure now, she’ll be perfectly prepared for explosive growth when we flip her into flowering. Looking Ahead: Growth on Overdrive 🚀 As Week 7 approaches, I’ll be monitoring how she responds to the additional topping and ensuring her environment stays consistent. The goal is to encourage her lateral growth while keeping her stress levels low and her energy focused. Day 50 Flower (Day 92) Today is the first day of week eight of flower, and we're in overtime. According to the breeder, last week was supposed to be the final week of flower since this is a fast strain with Ruderalis in it, but the girls are still far from done. The right girl is still mostly clear, and the left girl has a bunch of fattening up to do before I'll even look at her trichomes. All I did today was to give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.3 water. I did some bud photography as well, but I haven't processed those images yet. Day 51 Flower (Day 93) I'm starting to see a fade in some of the right girl leaves but nothing major yet. I gave her 3 liters of pH 6.1 water and called it a day. Tomorrow I have to hook up her drip irrigation system so I have a few days to tweak it before I'm off on vacation. Day 52 Flower (Day 94) Today, I finally got around to hooking up the drip irrigation system to the right girl. Setting it up was straightforward - put four drip emitters around the plant, run a hose from the emitters to a 120 l water barrel, connect the hose to a pump, set up how much water you want per day, done. For a long time, the right girl has been drinking 3 liters of water per day. One filling in my small 3-liter watering can. I figured, though, that I should first check if the can is 3 liters in the first place, so I filled it up and then measured how much water there was in it. It turns out that the can only contain 2.5 liters. Chinese quality... Anyway, no big deal when I've been hand-watering, but great to know now, as the system would have overwatered otherwise. I set up the system to irrigate 2.4 liters per day, slightly less than currently, but I think she will soon start to drink less as she matures and starts fading. In any case, I rather come home to a slightly thirsty plant than to one that has drowned. It's a bit clunky to use a timer-based drip system as it doesn't adapt to the plant. That's why I'm currently designing and building my own system, based on a Raspberry Pi, which irrigates based on moisture levels in the soil. The aim is to maintain the perfect soil moisture in each pot, no matter how much each girl drinks. This concept s precisely how a low-tech Blumat system work, and I even have one of those, but I can't use it for practical reasons, so I'm "stuck" at building my own hi-tech solution instead ;) The left girl in the small tent is just doing her thing, slowly fattening up. She is foxtailing hard, though, but I'm not surprised, considering all the stress she went through. No big deal, I'll turn those buds into a tincture instead. The flower that got burned a bit in my main tent is also foxtailing but way less. I also got delivered and installed a fire extinguisher ball in my small tent. Now each of the tents should be protected from accidental fire. I have to admit that the thought of leaving my tents up and running alone for a week makes me a wee bit nervous, so I'm taking the precautions I can. I never had any problems in the past, and I like to keep it that way. Day 53 Flower (Day 95) There isn't much to do this late in flower now when I don't even have to water anymore. Although, I am monitoring the soil moisture levels to ensure the irrigation systems work as they should. Today I also changed my Bluetooth Thermo/Hygrometers to WiFi versions since they allow me to remote monitor the tents when I'm off on vacation next week. They are currently showing the temps as high, but since I put them all the way up in the tent, it makes sense that it is hot up there. I will move them down to canopy level before I leave. I could also finalize our travel plans today after going back and forth, making plans, and changing them again for days. Next week, we're off to Iceland, where we will pick up a motorhome at the airport and then drive around as the wind and mood take us. We have been to Iceland before, but the place is so unique that we can't wait to return. It will be interesting (and a bit scary) to see how the girls will manage while I'm gone, but I believe that I've done enough to keep them safe and sound in my absence. A friend of mine can drop by our apartment and look at the girls should it be necessary, but I think they'll be alright. Day 54 Flower (Day 96) Last night, just before heading to bed, I checked the girls to ensure that the irrigation systems worked correctly. A good decision as there was a big puddle of water in the right girl's tent. Fuuuuuuu... So at 4 in the morning, I had to remove that water. Great. It turned out to be around 2.5 liters, and I guessed that the system wasn't working correctly by watering too much. Oh well, it was late, and I decided to deal with that the next day. When I opened the tent today, there was a new puddle even though I had turned off the system the night before. Huh??? I soon found the problem, though. Each drip emitter has a rubber membrane that keeps the emitter closed whenever the pump isn't running. That's in theory. In practice, however, the membrane doesn't close up properly, and water can flow through. I filled up my big 120-liter water barrel yesterday, which caused the water level to be above the level of the emitters. Considering the leaky emitters, we now had a water siphon system running, pulling water from the barrel and continuously dripping even though the pump wasn't running. Luckily I already had a low and squat 50-liter reservoir at hand, so I put the pump in that one instead, as it is lower than the emitters. That should solve that problem. I hope. (Yes, I know it is terrible with a white reservoir as it enables algae growth but it is all that I have right now and I'll throw a blanket over the reservoir before we leave.) However, from this experience, I decided to turn on the system for 24 hours, collect all water, and measure the exact amount. Honestly, I should have done that from the start already. Oh well, we live and learn. Anyway, I removed the system and taped it to the inside of a bucket, which collects the water, and tomorrow I'll measure it. Besides all this fun irrigation action, I didn't do anything else with the girls today. Day 55 Flower (Day 97) Things are looking better in the tent today. I left the irrigation system running for 24 hours, and there was no more siphoning happening after I switched to the lower water reservoir, so that's good. However, the system was still overwatering by half a liter. Not too bad on a daily basis, but as I'm gone for a week, I need it to perform better. I dialed it in by adding one more dripper but decreasing the frequency. I'm currently using five drip emitters, and they run for six minutes every 12 hours. I did three test runs (simulating a full 24 hours run cycle), and the average water volume is 2.43 liters per 24 hours. Spot on. Day 56 Flower (Day 98) The last day of the eighth week of flower, and everything is moving along nicely. A bit slow since the girls were supposed to be done already, but I'm in no real hurry. I'm off tomorrow for a week of vacation, and I hope I have taken all precautions to keep the girls safe and sound. They should be alright, but a friend will drop by in a few days to make sure. I haven't checked the trichomes in a few days, but that can wait until I return. All I did today was to check that the irrigation systems are running correctly. The cheap system for the small girl is a bit finicky to adjust, but the other system is running just fine now when I have the other water reservoir.
