26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 2024-12-31 to 2025-01-06 This plant has taken on the most potent lemon-lime smell I have ever seen from any cultivar. The sativa genetics are making for some nice stacking. Pollination: I have cross-pollinated this plant with a special cut of Chemdog, as seen in one of my other grows. The Chemdog cut I named CD#2, and used it to produce clones and pollen donors.

2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Here they are, finished! The plant in the smaller tent definitely packed on much more weight. The issue with the other plant was being in a 12/12 tent and having a taller plant in there which was hogging the light. Still got beautiful smelling flowers. These were all taken in the last week of flowering. Super happy with the new setup that I put in with the Mars Hydro light! Very nice plants but they did take their sweet time in the beginning.

Eats very well, no more signs of leaf tip burn. Lots of smaller tops emerging, becoming bushy. Roots looking good for most part, still showing healthy white roots submerged. Still using mister to keep humid in root zone.

Very happy with how both plants turned out in the end! Pheno#1 is a definite keeper, but il be hanging on to Pheno#2 for at least another run or two. Both plants have a very similar smell it’s like a tropical cherry punch, #1 smells the strongest, you only have to nudge it and then whole room stinks. #2 has a gassy edge that #1 doesn’t have. Both smell incredible! I’ve cut both plants into individual branches and I’ve hung them in my drying tent. I’ve removed all fan leaves and any lead with a visible stalk. I’ll dry them for 10-14 days, my RH stays roughly between 55-60 and the temperature fluctuates between 19-24*c weather dependent.
