Blazing hot week spent mostly trimming/harvesting. Even broke a pair of scissors :) Smooth trim from start to finish - plants were flushed in the last week

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

NOV 12 - DAY 65 - I just FLUSHED her today with SLEDGEHAMMER NOV 17 - DAY 70 - LST to get more fatness on buds, we'll see how it helps

Well, she keeps disappointing me a bit. If you see her development compared to the two other strains, she is miles behind. Not stretching that much, and flowering stays behind. Im checking for male signs every day as I suspect she might go on me. All conditions are the same. This is a 9 euro seed. 4 of them didn't germinate. 50 bucks down the shitter. The plant right next to her comes from a one dollar seed, xtrakush at weedseeds.site. That's why I plead for the growers to share their lucky shots and give the small-time breeders a break. Also a plea for an expiry date on the products, for the price vs cost of production, we can expect that service. that way renowned breeders also protect their name when third parties sell old seeds to growers that leave bad reviews. Hello once again and I hope y’all had a good week! Down in the purple tent this week was strange, it was the first time sense week 3 these lady’s didn’t have an extreme explosive growth and honestly I’m okay with that lol. The bud sites however have started to plump up as expected and I’m hoping they continue too at this rate. Finally ran into a detrimental issue that kinda upset me but was glad I caught early. I started to notice some rust spots on a couple leafs of one plant witch prompted me to take a closer look, PH was spot on and runoff was coming out at 1200(a little higher than it should) so I turned the lights off and inspected with my CMH. Almost all the lower leafs were to dark green for my liking and the newest growth on a few were bright green. This all together led me to believe it was the beginning of nute lockout so I flushed em hard with a 600ppm wash then 400 a couple days later. This brought it down to the 650 mark witch they seem to have responded really well too go going to tone it down with the food a bit until they tell me otherwise. Also this was the final week for my Big Bud so this week I’ll be hitting up that overdrive. All in all I’m loving these ladies it woulda been nicer if the plants were more similar not crazily different phenos but it’s to be expected with autos so happy growing everyone and lookin forward to touching base next week!!!!!!
