Pretty sure these girls are now all stretched out... if not... they need to be ๐Ÿ˜†. Now cruisin' on autopilot. UPDATE 3/4/24 "B" is blowing my mind... everything's else seems on par but she's very robust nearly tripling her size. Think I've successfully maximized this tent. Time for these ladies to bulk up! Update 3/8/24 Installed 2nd layer of trellis, since these ladies decided to really stretch out, specifically the SLH.

Week 8 Day 49 Week 3 of flower FINALLY I think shes done stretching!! She definitely went a LOT longer, than I thought. Canopy is broken all to hell, spacing is a little cramped, but it is still working out fantasticly! The buds look like tiny pineapples or cone heads. Let the swell go! Biggest lady yet! Packed her with another 8ml kelp and 1 tsp recharge. 3-13 Day 52 from seed, week 4 flowerish. More so playing with pictures. Very pleased with progress. Buds lookin nice! Enjoy!

Week 5: Comeback Queen ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ The relief I felt this week is immeasurable. My pineapple is BACK! Not only has she recovered from the snail attack, but she's thriving. She's getting bushy, pushing out new leaves and reaching for the sky. I knew she had it in her. Given her impressive height, I decided it was time for some strategic intervention. FIMming to encourage even more branching, defoliation to let the light reach those lower leaves, and some gentle LST to keep her shape in check. She took it like a champ. The best part? I took some of those trimmed branches and dipped them in cloning gel. Fingers crossed for some pineapple babies! This girl is a fighter, and I have a feeling her offspring will be just as resilient.

Hi Gromie's Welcome to my Experimental & tent filler grow. 2 Orange sherbet FF FASTBUD CLONES that were left over when transplanting my current other FF FASTBUD clones into final 15 ltr pots. Originally had 4 left over however due to my mistreatment & lazyness at the time, only feeding/watering every 3 to 4 days, which caused slowed growth, the other 2 died & these 2 were brought back from the brink of death! Picture of them in white container next to current flower run. Transplanted from small pots into net pots, plant#1 had 1 small root protruding from pot, #2 had 1 little main root not even growing out of pot! Put them into 15 ltr Dwc pots running 2 airlines & stones per plant to give plenty of oxygen & help combat any root issues & quick growth. Hot temps as it's summer rising the same temps as environment inside tent. Have been placing frozen water bottles into pots to reduce temps. Add 2 frozen bottles per pot, reduced temps right down to around 17ยฐc. Change bottles out twice a day. Temps slowly rise over extended period until ice melts. Experimenting with different training methods, lst ,hst Mainly super croping. Have been Hst bending, pinching stems & roughing them up.which causes the stems to grow stronger, repairing themselves along the way as well as the hst bending, I also go around & pinch/ squash the stems every few inches which really strengthens the stems & branches! In fact I've done no tying down! I've managed to create a flat table top canopy with out tying down to hold shape. Super crop them over, they grow strong stems & hold that shape, as they grow out they always start to grow back up towards the light & I continue the process of bending, pinching & damaging stems so they grow strong & hold shape by them selves. Going well & it doesn't seem to slow them down much at all, given I grow perpetually using separate veg & Flower tents makes it impossible to train through scrog net in veg! Trying to train an established plant through a scrog can be difficult & easy to damage or break branches . However I like the benefits off scrogging so looked at a way to make it easier to scrog already veged plants. This is the training methods I've come up with, taking & incorporating established training methods of various soughts to create plants with flat table top canopy. That way when moved to flower tent I can just lower scrog net over the top of plants to hold them in that shape & train through the net as they go through flowering stretch, making it a lot easier! I've come up with a name for it & I'm calling it the pre scrog ! Method of training. In fact it seems to be going so good that the plan is to see if I can scrog them without a scrog net as they are holding that table top canopy shape & have super strong stems that are solid as a rock, can't squeeze or pinch repaired stems, they are super strong, holding shape & should be able to support the weight of the buds, lower growth already lolliepoped as I don't see the point growing that lower growth out just to lolliepop it & remove it once in flower. It's similar to why I grow relatively short plants when scrogging. I see some growers growing 2 to 4 foot plants which take longer to veg only to lolliepop & remove bottom half to 3/4 of the growth, so you end up with 2 foot of bare lolliepoped stems & branches under canopy? Each to their own/I guess. I grow mine around a foot before putting into flower so there's between 20 to 30 cm of lolliepoped stems under the canopy & a foot or 2 trained through scrog net & above .

Purpling on one plant, lots of light-colored fan leaves on the others. The buds keep growing and maturing. The seed source says 9 weeks but I am aware they often take longer. I wonder if the top buds will eventually grow to the size of the preflower buds.

This week we are seeing the girls starting to flower, mixed in a gaia green topdress and chopped it up into the sand, then adding another layer. The sand really does a number on the fungas gnats. Going to do some lollipopping and lots of defolation. Trying to pick and chose which colas to bring to the end. I cant wait to see what this looks like when its filled with bud. After I train tonight its going to be hands off completely besides watering.

- Week 11 - ----- Day 71 ------ The end is in sight. The trichomes are slowly turning amber/purple inside. and a lot are cloudy. No more fertilizer until harvest day where I will use floranova grow to induce leaf growth when i switch them back to 18/6 with Metal Halide at 600 watts. I'm going to guess day 75-77 harvest. ----- Day 73 ----- Back Wedding Cake was ready for chopping. You can see from the 60x micro more mature amber and drying mature trichomes than cloudy/clear. Front is not, Going to chop day 77. More cloudy/clear and round trichome heads then mature and shrunk. This is a huge yield. not going to guess but Harvest number should be by far the largest I've ever grown. ----- Day 74 ----- Today Im gonna sample the Wedding Cake harvested yesterday. I hope it knocks me the hell out to my couch with a bat to the face of intensity. Time will tell. Probably no update on the high till tomorrow lol. ----- Day 75 ----- Okay, last plant will be done Saturday. Trichomes are mostly ready, 48 hours she's cut worthy. I wont be updating tomorrow, there's no point. Saturday should also have some more of the Day 73 Wedding Cake (from here on known as D73 WC) dried for a better smoke report (yesterday I just passed out) but I don't expect them to be dry for at least a total of 7-10 days and it's day 3 today. (they're fuckin fat and DENSE so it'll be a longer process to remove the interior moisture) Last water feeding for them tomorrow. Next time they're ready for water I'll be feeding FloraNova GROW to assist in the transition back to 18/6 Vegetative 600 watt metal halide that will start the day after harvest (Going to give a full 24 hours after harvesting before changing light cycle. I've learned to NEVER double up stress on plants. It's like breaking the law, you never break another law while doing the first one, it exponentially worsens everything.) After harvest expect a Veg week by week addition to this grow, and then once my lab results come in from Tropicanna I'll set up a distinct diary for it. Then once the Wedding cake is done and results from lab are in i'll do the same. *** Update *** I put the time on for lights at 13 hours today instead of 12. That will continue for 7 days. It'll then go to 14 hours lights on for 7 full days with HID light before switching finally to MH @ 600 watt 18 hours. This is a technique I hypothesis will help ease the transition period back to veg. ----- Day 76 ----- Here's a nug shot. Lied about not updating today. Harvest tomorrow. ----- Day 77 ------ Harvested today. Here's some pics. Fed FloraNova Grow - 800ppm 6.4ph 8 liters to start the reveg journey. Tomorrow i'll be adding a new week - Veg - as lights will be going to 14 hours during that week which I will use as a transition for 7 days before jumping to 18/6 until re-flower in probably October. Harvest info will be 7-10 days from now unfortunately folks. Shits thick and therefore lots of spaces for water to be hiding and needing to be dried before curing. Smoke is real nice. super clarity followed by ocean waves of distraction and spacing out.
