Hey everyone ☺️. After 60 hours, the lady's case was already open :-). Today the seed was placed in soil :-). I only use the soil for cultivation because I have it left and it has to go slowly :-). When repotting, it comes in Canna Coco 👍. I watered the soil with some Canna Rizotonic before the seeds got 1 cm under the soil :-). After that, the pot was placed under a hood in which I sprayed clay every day so that the humidity is between 80-90%. I do this for the first few days until the head looks out of the earth. From this point on, I open the hood at the upper opening bit by bit every few days so that you can slowly get used to 65% humidity before the hood comes down. It is also only poured when the roots are right, until then the earth is sprayed. Which training I will use I will decide spontaneously when the time comes :-). Hey Growmies. 😎This is a back post...sorry took me so long. Nov 8th (sunday) She looks nutrient deprived. Little did I know the VPN (low) was so far off after changing my pre-filter that the negative pressure wasn't allowing her to want to pull up nutrients. Has been a problem longer than I realized. I had no idea that my fan was too strong for my tent. Can kill a plant. Live and learn. So, now comes the story of nutrient toxicity because I DX wrong and gave some amendments and nutrients that she didn't need. So sad. . …. Soil PH is at 6.7 Watered about 3/4 gallon almost 1 gallon Growers recharge With soluble kelp Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution) NOV 9th RH is 52 and temp 72.5deg (RH is dropping due to increased airflow) She does not appear to be stressed this morning. Growth is still very slow but the new leaves appear to be healthy with no Brown tips. There's still New Growth appearing on the old nodes where fan leaves have been removed due to burning lower down on the stems. I'm hoping there's not much more lateral growth and more of a filling out so that I can flower.(room for the stretch) I hope the lower humidity is conducive to her growth and not going to cause Mite infestation due to stress and defenses down. On that note the tanglefoot needs to be reapplied. On about a 10-minute inspection I see no visible signs canoe leaves or might damage. The wettable sulfur seems to be stove in them off. I'm also doing my best to boost the immune system of the plant. I've been meaning to do a compost tea in order to infuse the soil with more microorganisms including both bacterial and fungi.  Still learning about “living soil” and probably making tons of mistakes but am bumbling through. NOV 10th Defoliation NOV 11th On this day she was still looking so deprived of nutrients. SHE WAS. Only not for reason of them not being in the soil. Environment was off and she was just protecting herself by not taking in the necessary food. I was of the midset to save her with soothing things which are good for “plant stress” and some nutrients. WRONG I was again. This is what I gave her that day. (A great combo but not what she needed) Soil PH 6 Growers recharge coconut water (30ml per half-gallon)  aloe juice (1/8 cup in half a gallon)  With soluble kelp  Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution)   NOV 12th IPM: Foliar spray right after lights out: micronized sulfur- 1/5 tbsp per 1/2 gallon ,Aloe Vera 2 tbsp, yucca extract NOV 13th removed some dead leaves Soil PH 6.5 pot was medium /heavy- leaving it so I can put compost tea on tomorrow evening.  Defoliated any dead growth and any tiny branches that didn't have a lot of nodes on them.  Changed the timer for the FAN to 15on and 15 off. I had upped the heat in the house to 72 deg instead of 71 and things are VERY DRY! Too dry for the temp. The VPD just way off here. Explains some of the dryness I am feeling on the leaf surfaces, slow growth etc. This climate issue has to be checked. Also, added back in a second humidifier! Brewing compost tea........

New tent is up! YAY!!! I have my 3 FastBuds BlackBerry Auto’s in the new 2x4 tent along with 2 Cherry seedlings and 3 freshly cut clones. The new tent is actually a used tent that was given to me. They did not have the support poles, so I had to build the frame out of wood. I’m happy with the way it turned out. Back to the plants…. I’m starting to call this Flowering now, instead of Veg, because 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s are well into bud development. The first Blackberry is smallish and only really showing one main cola, instead of many branches. But her color is really nice, I love the purple. The second Blackberry is taller than the first even though she was started about a week after. She is developing more branches and is starting to show some nice bud sites also. Blackberry number 3 is the youngest, about 3 weeks old now, she’s still small now, but I expect her to start growing and stretching out any day now. Ultimately, I’m betting Blackberry number 3 grows bigger than either of the first two.

Nothing new to report this week. The buds are growing, even in this cold. The temp when the lights go on is in the middle 60s. So, that's a happy thing. Happy growing eveyone!

Day 29- I topped all of them except the little ones plus a Love Drunk and the Fruity Pebbles. I also removed the lower branches from the bottom three nodes. I didn’t feed today, instead it was plain RO water, their feed will be later in the week. My phone cut out in the video as it ran out of juice. But the discoloration inside the new growth has been outgrown, even though it is once again appearing in the next set of leaves. I really hope she hangs in there! Morning Glory stands 6” tall. The rest are approx. 5” tall and the littles about half that. Day 31- As I suspected, the whopper dose of potassium from that seaweed bliss is showing itself potentially. The not Fruity Pebbles that already has been looking off, was pushed to far with the potassium. I believe the excess of potassium to be causing a manganese deficiency. Not the magnesium found in Epsom Salt, but the other more uncommon one. I read up, did some quick research, and this is my most likely conclusion as the fruity pebbles is exhibiting almost textbook description of manganese deficiency. The cause being too much potassium. To my fortune, I found manganese from the fox farm Bushdoctor!! Also, I will add Botanicare Fulvex at half strength. Mainly to help absorption and include some Mg to help mitigate all the potassium. Fingers crossed! Tonight I will foliar feed the rest, that way they can stay out in the sun for now.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.
