Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;) Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.

Edit: 1st January 2020 I started playing with making time laps video. You can see the first trial video over 28h period. It starts a bit slow cuz I was still figuring out the shooting interval. The second half of the video is shot with 1 picture every 1,5min, and I love it! It鈥檚 gonna be fun playing with this! 馃榿 31.dec.19 Happy New Year everyone! 馃帀 And let the show begin, the girls are half way and starting to show pistils. I鈥檓 doing my best to tie them down to keep an even canopy. The Ph got finally stabilized at 5.5-5.9, I鈥檒l start getting it a bit higher next week 5.9-6.2 In order to accommodate them all the ppm seems to be in the sweet spot around 650-700 at this point. It looks like the Criticals could use more, while the slowest of the Gorillas... well, she is slow, so she needs less. The temperature gets a bit low here, but won鈥檛 do anything about it, I don鈥檛 want to spend more on the electric bill then I already do. I鈥檓 looking forward for my friend to come and pick up the DWC GZ so I can have some more space to stretch out the rest of the girls. Oh, I鈥檓 working on setting up an old iPhone in there to make time laps videos 馃馃徏Just imagine watching those buds fattening up 馃槂 Happy growing in the new year! 馃崁

After just sort of 5 weeks at 18 hours light, the photoperiod RQS Mimosa plants are at 16". I'm starting to worry about the 'stretch' of the sativa plants will grow too close to lights. So I switched to 12/12 at this time. Started the Fox Farm flowering nuts about this time as well. Photos here are bit into week 5... but wow now we can see the starting of the flowering, so cool.

I'm going to try my very best with these plants, currently at seelding stage receiving around 270 ppfd each and dli is around 20 for 24hours of light. 12/16/18 Start of week 8 of flower. At least one of the plants is more then 1 week out. The sativa leaner still has many white pistils. The frost queen is right on schedule. The runt will be processed into bubble hash. Secret Sara buds are getting huge and are quite mature as well. Hoping to see some yellowing off in next few day. 12/21/18 All 4 plants scoped out well. I saw very little clear trichomes. Also 1 of the plants has some amber trichomes as well. Also almost all pistils have changed color and curled in. I decided to start 36hrs of light deprivation, they are no longer getting water, and the temps are kept as low as possible.

**Encontrar谩s la traducci贸n a espa帽ol al final de la descripci贸n** If you like this week, please hit a like, it costs you nothing! 馃憡. Thanks in advance 馃槈! From/Desde: 29/07/19 || To/Hasta: 04/08/19 From day/Desde d铆a: 7 || To day/Hasta d铆a: 13 -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- V1: The growing of week 2, it's incredible how she twist herself 馃槺. P3: The setup of static cameras (tent slaves), I'm using a GoPro capturing a top timelapse video, and an iPhone capturing a frontal timelapse. The GoPro is placed under the lights and it gets too warm, i will remove this camera position later for the safety of the camera and it's battery. With the iPhone i'm using the SkyFlow App to capture timelapses. -----WEEK SUMMARY----- This is the week of transplant, i will do it on day 10, August 1rst. I will use 卤1 cm of perlite in the bottom of the 19,5 l AirPot, 卤3 cm of BioBizz Hard-Mix over the perlite and for the rest i will use BioBizz Light-Mix. About the growing, as you can see she's growing at a very good rate since transplant, she was not growing much the last days on the small pot so I decided to perform the transplant. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 01/08/19 - 5,000 ml with all week nutrients @ 0.9 E.C. PH5.8 *****ESPA脩OL***** Por favor, si te gusta esta semana dale un like, no te cuesta nada 馃憡. 隆Gracias por adelantado 馃槈! Fast Buds Cream Cookies growing strong, nice bud site development! The leaves are more yellowish than I would prefer. I was not checking PH previously and started checking the PH this week. My well water comes out of the tap around 7.3-7.4, which is a bit higher than most recommend. This week I PH'ed down to 6.3 and fed her Recharge only. Hope to see some more green coming back over the next few days.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. Well that's all growmies. Happy growing everyone!!!
