Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. So I only have 1.5 weeks until I harvest my girls. Ripening until 5 days before harvest then I will flush with 1/8th tsp of yucca powder p/gal. Senescence is taking place all over, but especially on the largest phenotype. Thinking of harvesting the most senesced one first and let the others go a few more days, we shall see! This is my first time growing, and damn I feel so lucky to have gotten this far! This is gonna be something I will do for the rest of my life Jah willing!

Res is still 3/4 full at around 650 ppm and 5.6 ph. Decided to leave for this week then change next week. Both shooting out hairs, some of the old leaves are dying off. Just pulled off dead leaves, or almost dead leaves. Did minor lst adjustments and quick tucking.

Howdy, Flush time, based on close ups, she’s more or less ready soon. She’s being flushed as we speak, with pure RO water added to tank. Residual nutrients in there is fine, I think PPM will be around 250 - 300. In 36 hours time, she’s going to have her lights turned off for the last time and will be left in the dark for 36 hours. So she’s being cut down 61 days after flip if all goes to plan, which is in line with breeders detail at 60-70 days. Only Tea and Hydroguard will be added to water. Humidity in room will be controlled at around 58 % RV.

Just taking off any leaves that are yellowing under the canopy. This baby is nice! Super happy that her trichomes are starting to form and she is budding up nicely! A real stunner so far! More sativa so I know she will take a bit longer, but I’m happy! Hope she gets even more greasy!💚💚💚

Englisch Week 3 is coming to an end and the ladies are growing magnificently. The only real outlier is Gelato #4, I don't know whether it was too stressed because of the repotting or why it isn't growing as fast as the others. When fertilizing, I continue to follow the feeding chart and Athena's hand watering strategy. The plants are accepting the very high dose of fertilizer wonderfully, which is somewhat to my astonishment, as I am not used to running these high EC levels from the start. Now that my Par Meter has finally arrived, I can keep a better eye on the light levels, which are currently at 500u/mol. Deutsch Woche 3 neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Ladies wachsen prächtig. Den einzigen richtigen Ausreißer macht die Gelato #4, ich weiß nicht ob sie wegen des Umtopfens zu viel Stress hatte, oder woran es liegt, dass sie nicht so schnell wie die anderen 4 wächst. Beim Düngen halte ich mich weiterhin an das feeding chart und die hand watering strategy von Athena. Die Pflanzen nehmen die doch sehr hohe Dosis Dünger wunderbar an, was etwas zu meinem Erstaunen ist, da ich es nicht gewohnt bin diese hohen EC Werte von Anfang an zu fahren. Da nun endlich mein Par Meter angekommen ist, habe ich die Lichtwerte auch etwas besser im Blick, womit wir aktuell bei 500u/mol liege.

Okay so I’ve been slacking a bit on the grow-diaries, only because I’ve had a lot going on and also because I don’t feel obligated to do so because this isn’t a sponsored grow. Unfortunately I had to move them from under the blackbird and put them under a HLG350R and they are still going crazy. Basically what I’m saying is HLG Lamps=Crazy growth and amazing lamps!! ordered 10 gallon pots for the 2 blue dream and pineapple express they are going into a different tent. Plan on replanting Friday. Autos all are doing fine, think I've been having issues with cal mag hopefully I can get it sorted out. All the plants are pretty big at this point except the gelato #33 its so small lol. Very crowed in a 4x4 and the plants need more room maybe moving the photos out will help the autos out and let them spread out more. Ordered some Recharge, excited to try out. I heard about it on dude grows lol great podcast 👏 Picked up some blue planet liquid seaweed and also their gold shield silica, also excited to try. Lastly got some Dynomyco to add in. Both blue dream and pineapple express are in their new home another 4x4 tent. Only running 1 halide at 400 watts and a small mars led. Will boost the light up significantly during flower with 1200 actual watts and change out to super lumen hps. Running a terrabloom carbon scrubber out of the second hid hood all powered by a 6 inch AC Infinity cloudline venting outdoors. Also using another 6 inch to bring in fresh air and have a portable ac to keep it nice and cool I think its important to mention after every grow I like to go in and clean out my tent. Vacuum up leaves/dirt, Wipe down all surfaces of the tent(I use paper towels and water in a spray bottle) and also clean off my lights. Wipe them down make sure the glass is cleaned(It makes a big difference). I grow strictly for my own personal consumption and I want the cleanest product.

I cannot believe how much growth this week!!! For the first time I've had to higher the light fixture. It is now almost as high as I can put it. I'm kinda regretting not FIMing her now...... I hope she does not grow much more in height!
