Iโ€™m glad I replaced the first Jet Fuel Gelato I planted which was slow and very behind from the rest, this one caught up to the others rapidly. JFG is growing fast and healthy and Iโ€™m already thinking of topping it but also want clones so Iโ€™m not sure what route to go?!

The girl looks amazing!!! The 28th day photo is missing because I went on vacation, I asked my friend to come water her next week, I think when I get back I will find her much older:) I like to just leave them sometimes and see them after about 10 days :) they change very quickly:) good luck to everyone.

Will definitely grow again. Harvested some earlier than others, really tried to get an idea of how much of a difference what point of the harvest window you harvest makes to the effect. Very high quality genetics - big thanks to Barney's Farm! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Now comes the fun part. As some friends of the fantastic Growdiaries community pointed out to us, we begin to see that the waiting time is about to be repaid, the peaks are taking on their final shape and I believe that shortly, after a good final blowjob of various boosters, we will leave for a flush of at least two weeks

Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Couldโ€™ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. Thatโ€™s for sure. Still saveโ€™n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what weโ€™re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. Iโ€™ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method ๐ŸŽš๏ธ๐ŸŽš๏ธ๐ŸŽš๏ธ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone. That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As youโ€™ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I donโ€™t think i wouldโ€™ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”. Then again, Iโ€™m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke๐Ÿค™๐Ÿค™. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs๐Ÿ’ช. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. The cree cob does it again. Fuckโ€™n jazz hands yโ€™all๐Ÿ™Œ! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. Itโ€™s only an 8 in my book because itโ€™s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time youโ€™re north of 5+ oz. per plant, itโ€™s a good day at the office๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. Props๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I canโ€™t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. The convos always good and of course - any questions or enlightened conversation are welcome. Every time I try to take a break from documenting a grow, I end up growing something worth documenting. If your as high as I am right now, you should still be trying to figure out that last sentence.... stay lit yโ€™all. See ya soon on the next one๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‘Š.

Lots of foliage growth over the last week. Not much height growth though. Little sister is now nearly twice the height of her but with much less foliage. Not sure if the height thing is something i should be worried about. Ive only got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm grow space for 2 plants so short plants would be great, so long as they still produce a decent crop.

New week for the imperium X She definitely a week behind the other's but still growing i will be leaving this one alone topping and LST wise it's already smaller then the rest so i let this one just grow how it is Made video today enjoy ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป See you next week Growmies visit www.marshydro.eu for your best gear and use the PROMO CODE: DEVILSBUD Some info about the Marshydro FC-4800 Superb Quality LED Chips: The whole light is composed of 1206 pcs Samsung lm301b and Osram 660nm chips. More than two times as many LEDs are used to drive the grow lights at low currents and to avoid overdrive. Quality is guaranteed and efficiency is up to 2.8 ฮผmol/j. Even PAR Distribution and High PPFD Output: The multi-light bar design and the densely distributed light chips enable the LED grow lights to achieve the optimum PPFD required for plant growth over the entire effective coverage area. Specifically Designed Spectrum: To ensure even plant growth, blue and red light are enhanced on the basis of a full spectrum combination. Not only does this accelerate plant growth, but it also improves the yield and quality of the plants at the same time. Dimming Daisy Chain Function: The dimming function saves on electricity costs and enables brightness from 10% to 100% for the different stages of plant growth. A single master light can connect up to 30 lights in a daisy-chain system. Business LED Grow Light: The light's wavy heat sink dissipates heat quickly and the IP65 waterproof allows the light to operate in humid conditions. 180ยฐ collapsible feature for easier installation. D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. ๐Ÿ˜ 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla
