This one was planted in coco, perlite, and worm castings. Due to this being practically the first time I've used this mix without adding the peat based "light mix," I had not realised how quickly the pots will dry out, especially during the high water consumption of the flowering stage. I realise that I need to be treating it as pure coco. This can be fantastic, for example, if you have just one pot/plant and can provide all the waterings and monitoring continually and regularly. This tends to make you use more nutrients than necessary, as personally I find it difficult to use just plain water. I think many of us still can't help the feeling that we should be adding things to every watering. Therefore, when the frequency of the waterings increases, we are still adding nutrients EVERY time. Which is an overall increase in nutrients, too. For my part, I'm cutting the amount of nutrients per watering. I feel like nutrients are a bit of a crutch to growers. I'm still getting used to the coco and the waterings, but I am really enjoying it. If you don't check your plants multiple times a day, it may not be the best choice of substrate. For me, I'd much rather the pots dry quickly because it reduces the chances of mould and mildew, which I'm always concerned about. The pot was actually top dressed with Canna Terra Soil Mix, as the company I'd purchased from sent the wrong item, and I couldn't get it sorted in time. This has really annoyed me as my top dress went mouldy, and I had to remove the top 1cm. After I used this, that soil became compacted and has remained that way since. Due to this, I would much rather not use these types of substrates. 28.5.25: Watered 1.5ltrs with Trace PH 6.4. 29.5.25: I took everything off the timer and am now running 24/0 light schedule. I want to make the most out of what light is available. The plants need it. My tent is underpowered in that department, so increasing the duration of the light is all I can realistically do. Hopefully, it will help. Watered with the same nutrients as above, 6.5L. PH 6.1. 30.5.25: Watered again, plain water with Ecothrive Biosys 4L. PH 6.3 Tganks fir stopping by and hanging out 😊💚✌️🍃😃

Another good week for this lady. Temps were high, but she handled it like a champ. Because she is so beastly and only in a 4 gallon pot, I’m watering about 1 gallon of water every 3 1/2 days. The dry back seems to be better if I don’t wait till the 4 th day. Buds are developing nicely, and stacking really well. I’m going to have some decent sized colas. Frost is coming along nicely too. She has a Kush smell with some sandalwood at the moment… Temps were floating around 82 degrees this week, with RH around 55-58%. Plucked a few more fan leaves, but otherwise just a slight turn each time I check on the tent. Happy Gardening

Alright alright… getting to that fun stage. Flowers are fattening and we are going to run them another week and a half for the effects I’m looking for. They have been de netted and trimmed up to expose all bud sites. There will be no larf or popcorn this run.

Anyway unfortunately I'm having to move the plants to a different secure location as there too big and my sister has had a baby so can't keep them at my ma's anymore, on top of that I can't keep them at mine as I'm on the edge of town centre but I'll keep updating on them also last 2 pics are the lemon meringue auto from Tastebuds Genetics really nice smoke smells and tastes exactly as named rather mellow hight though could have done them better, ended up with just over an Oz and half! This week i need to change the reservoir again, the plants drink solution just as I add fresh water the EC stays at 2.7 and i need to add PK and Calmag so that's why. The weather outside is very cold this whole week around -18 degree Celsius at night...this made my reservoir water go under 15 degree Celsius. Since i ran the Spider Farmer UV lights i noticed some purples on my cannabis plants i think it's their doing....i run it now for two weeks the UVs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE 7000 is hanged at 28 cm. over the canopy and runs at 520W. Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

I finally decided to cut my losses and focus on just one plant. It's time to go all-in on my "one plant, one light" goal. It feels kinda scary, but I'm also really excited to see how much attention this plant's gonna get. Pretty sure I kept a pheno that is going to be huge My Pound Cake plant's leaves are looking awesome, just like the pictures online. It's growing so fast, it's almost doubled in size in the past week. I'm really excited to see how big it gets by the end of its life. I messed up last week and overwatered my Pound Cake plant. It got really droopy and sad-looking, but luckily it's starting to perk up again. Definitely a lesson learned about keeping a closer eye on things.

We Have Week 9 Day 1. Everything looks good and the Trichomes get Brown. Some of the Strains get Harvested in 5-6 days and the rest in 8-10 days.

Start of 12/12 light cycle, round 2 with the citrus skunk strain. Increased feeding to 6L per plant (water + nutes), hopefully this increase will keep the plants healthier throughout the grow.
