it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Things are winding up! Have been flushing #2 for a couple of days. Replacing half the water each day.PPM is under 100 and that's been consistent for a day. The harvest will be going into a dark closet in a day where it will stay for 7-10 days (7 I'm sure), then be jarred for curing. 20 branches harvested! BHB#1 is still packing it on! Guesstimate, two more weeks. Will start flush Wednesday taking 50-75% solution out and replacing with water. Weights will be shared after #1 has dried. Have had a couple 'testers' already and am not disappointed. Harvest was better than my last soil grow and this first DWC was not a disaster. I'm happy with it. I'm watering her almost every day. 2 lt. The only mistake I make is the pebble at the bottom of the pot. Keep plant dry. But increase ph the water stagnant. She is a cover of buddies. Short internode. Compared to hydro.

Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. The week is progressing as usual. They continue to grow, flourish, and get denser. I continue the same feeding regimen, 1 nute feeding and 2 to 3 plain water feeding before another round of nutes. 3 liters seems to be the sweet spot for them in these 10 gallons. Every 3 to 4 days.

She did well but the main problem was under feeding. She just wasn’t getting enough water from which she suffered tremendously as the growth through the vegetation was almost at a standstill. The plus side is that she is quite resilient.

The flowers on this pheno are insane frosty rockhard. Really scared to smoke these 😂 I must say this is the first strain that can handle high humidity up to 79% (with lights off) and no sign of mold even on the other pheno 0 problems and we are now in the final week, i only hive rainwater every day untill runoff for the past 5 days the leaves are still dark so she got enough left to finish up Amazing strain she also fits nice in a 4x4 with only 5weeks veg

Today is day 74 since planting, so in theory I should have about 2 weeks to go. The taller plant will probably make that, the shorter may take an extra week or so. Overall, pretty boring week, as the buds are at the tail end of fattening up, should be right on the edge of ripening. The bud structures of the plant continue to be completely different, with the taller plant having a more typical sativa appearance while the shorter plant has dense, stocky nugs more like an indica. I'm just excited to see the end in sight. At this point in the grow I just want to harvest and start my next batch, but one of my growing mantras is " let the plant tell you when she's ready to be cut" so I will continue to wait impatiently until a vast majority of the trichomes are milky. Jan 13th ordered a Dehumidifier today should be here Monday need to get the humidity down for flower I can only get it down to 57% so Hopefully it will work One of the amnesia haze plants have some type of deficiency not sure have brown spots on leaves Got humidity some decent control but I’m sure amnesia haze 1 is dealing with PH issues the PH meter is cheap and I’m sure it’s been off a bit so I’m going to look for new one this week

This is my Northern Lights i got in a freebie pack quite a while ago. I planted it in my veg room for kicks as i have never been interested in growing an auto. Im lucky enough to have two tents so I use my Veg room for experiments and cloning as well. As you can see even though I germed it a week after my Blue Dream (check my diary :)) it quickly turned into this monster. SO For your pleasure I present my first Auto, lets see how she does!

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW Wie ich im letzten Update geschrieben habe, fällt dieses hier etwas größer aus und enthält auch mehr Fotos und Videos. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut entwickelt, waren aber mittlerweile zu groß für ihre kleinen Töpfe und zeigten Anzeichen von Wurzelstress. Ich habe sie daher in 9-Liter-AirPots umgetopft, die ich noch von einem alten Projekt übrig hatte. Als Substrat verwende ich eine 70/30-Mischung aus Canna Coco Professional und Peligran Perlite von Knauf. Ich liebe dieses Zeug – man kann es praktisch nicht überwässern. Die Wurzelballen habe ich mit etwas Mycotrex von Biotabs bestreut. (Mycorhizzae) Um ehrlich zu sein: Ich war einfach zu faul, neue Stofftöpfe zu kaufen, also dachte ich mir, warum nicht die alten AirPots wiederverwenden :-) Mal sehen, wie sie sich darin machen. Ich habe die Pflanzen auch in ihre „endgültige“ Umgebung gestellt – ein 120x120-Zelt (4×4 für meine imperialen Freunde ;-) – und ab jetzt werden sie über meinen geliebten Ebbe-/Flut Eigenbau versorgt. Ich habe es vor 10 Jahren gebaut, und es ist immer noch ein echter Segen. Einmal am Tag werden die Pflanzen mit Nährlösung aus einem 200-Liter-Tank (52 Gallonen) geflutet. Leider bedeutet das auch, dass ich euch nicht mehr sagen kann, wie viel Nährlösung jede Pflanze genau bekommt – sie nehmen sich einfach, was sie brauchen. Das neue Zelt wird mittels eines AC Infinity Controller 69 klimagesteuert, sodass ich die Bedingungen deutlich besser im Griff habe. Ich versuche, einen VPD von etwa 1,2 zu halten. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 22 °C (~71 °F) eingestellt und der Luftbefeuchter hält die Luftfeuchtigkeit bei etwa 62 %. Offtopic: Ich musste eine große Lemon Orange-Mutterpflanze räumen, um Platz für die vier Humboldt-Mädels zu schaffen. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich sie zurückschneiden müssen. Was demnächst ansteht: In den nächsten Tagen werde ich die Pflanzen toppen. Die abgeschnittenen Spitzen werde ich versuchen, als potenzielle Mütter zu bewurzeln – vielleicht ziehe ich ja ein DNA-Los :-). Meine Frage an euch diese Woche: Mit welchen Substraten und Bewässerungssystemen habt ihr schon herumexperimentiert – und was hat euch am meisten überzeugt? The plants were coming along nicely but the were to big for their tiny pots and showed some root stress. I transplanted them into 9 Liter AirPots which I had laying around from an old project. The substrate is a 70/30 mix of Canna Coco Professional and Peligran Perlite from Knauf. I love this stuff. You basically can't overwater it. I sprinkled the root balls with some Mycotrex from Biotabs (Mycorhizzae) Tbh I wast just too lazy to buy new fabric pots so I thought why shouldn't I use these old AirPots :-) We'll see how they perform. I also placed the plants in their "final" habitat which is a 120x120 (4×4 for my imperial friends ;-) and from now on they get fed by my beloved DIY-Ebb and Flow system. I built this 10 years ago and it's still a charm to have. Once a day the plants will get "flooded" with nutrient solution from a 200 L (52 gallon) tank below. Unfortunately this also means I can't tell you how much nutrient solution they received anymore as they just take as much as they need. This tent is climate controlled by an AC Infinity controller 69 so I should be able steer them way better. I try to keep them at a VPD of around 1.2. I have my AC set to 22°C (~71°F) and my humidifier keeps the tent around 62%. Offtopic: I had to evict a big Lemon Orange Mom to make space for the 4 Humboldt girls. I will have to cut her back in the next days. Upcoming: I'm going to top them in the next few days I will try to keep the tops as potential mothers if I hit the DNA lottery :-). ### Day 22 ### Jeej, the last week of vege! She looks to respond pretty well to the LST, I see nice new growth everywhere. She is also very dence as shown in the video up above. I hope she will get a mayor stretch when starting to flower. I'm already very proud of how this little plant is turning out. 😁🌱 Also ordered some biobizz top max and bio heaven to boost flowering when it happens. ### Day 23 ### Decided to add more LST, a lot more LST (like 7 wires extra in addition to the 2 initial ones)! 😂 Was a little hard because of the density, but it worked out. I think only one budsight does not have access to direct light. I just could not get it in the right place, oh well, there looks to be enough others 😋. Hope she is not stressed too much, some of the bends are pretty hard, but she is still flexible. After reviewing the photos again I realized that I'm growing her in kind of a spiral. ### Day 24 ### Started the day by tucking the bigger leafs underneath the small ones who need more light. She looks happier now! Also watered her 0.6l with nutrients, the soil was becoming pretty dry and it was 3 days ago since her last watering. ### Day 25 ### Pretty uneventful day. She is still liking the LST, like a lot! Readjusted the LST and tucked the bigger leaves under. There is only one part of new growth I'm concerned about! It is in the middle of the top view picture, so it is from a few nodes before, but looks terrible in comparison to the rest of the plant. Like it was eaten by something. Hopefully she will rebound from this. ### Day 26 ### I put some cardboard in a V shape in front of the intake fan to defuse the airflow more. Now the new growth that had problems yesterday looks a little better, the brown red-ish is fading away. Windburn is a real thing apparently 😲 Did a lot of LST again today, trying to stay ahead of the growth. ### Day 28 ### The last day of week 4. Did some more heavy LST to make sure all potential budsights get enough light. The growth that was struggling a few days ago is doing a lot better and seems to be recovering.

All I’ve done this week was stretch her out as much as possible,,getting as much light to all the buds,,and kept her food levels topped up,, This week I’m going to start giving her water only,,and just let those nuggs flush out the unneeded,,,,,lols ,she looks really good for her age,,,start winding her down now,,,these buds are so tight,,🙏💚💚💚
