Changed the reservoir for flower this week. *Athena proline is measured in grams per gallon. The option isn’t allowed on grow diaries so I had to use an online converter for tsp to grams. * Defoliation and readjusting of the ties seems to happen daily at this point. In hindsight I left to many flowering sites, i was afraid I wouldn’t get a decent yield 😂. Removing more would have saved me time defoliating and readjusting the branches in the later stages. I was surprised at how well the auto took to topping and training I’ve done so often. Really happy with the root system. Video added.

Starting to get some nice purple colours on #4 buds and Ozz leaves! Not super visible on the video but looking really good. Also had an unpleasant surprise the other morning, due to wind gusts the support went out the pot and #4 straight bent to 90 degrees. Looks like it happened around 3/4am and I only saw it around 9am, so she got pretty roughened up but no actual damage to report. Same for Dorel, a brush fell on a lower branch but didn’t break anything. The learning here as it is the second time it happens, both time just before I water them: I suspect drier medium is less efficient in holding the plant when there is a lot of wind.

Our Fruit Punch Automatic are both doing great. Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques to preserve its speed. Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I'll consider this week a complete failure. When I repotted my plants, I added mulch, but it was only 3 cm thick. As a result, my plants were miserable for four days because it was too thick. The soil was cold and remained very damp due to watering during repotting. It smothered the fallen leaves, some of which even turned yellow. It seemed like a magnesium and calcium deficiency and an unbalanced pH. I re-evaluated my approach and, most importantly, added a light layer of mulch. They've recovered well. It just goes to show that a small mistake can teach you something new every day. This week, I added: 2 g of Epsom salt: This powerful mineral is pure magnesium sulfate, one of the main components of chlorophyll produced by plants. Purple Punch am 26.12.2024 Tag 49 / 14.02.2025 Meine Purple Punch steht schon in der 7 Woche, ein großer Erfolg für mich. Habe mit Bio Bloom und Bio Grow in der letzte Woche sie gedüngt, das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Heute, wird Acti Vera, Alg A Mic und Bio Heaven in das Gießwasser hinzu gegeben. Feedback: Ich bin überaus voll zufrieden wie meine Pflanze sich entwickelt hat, ich denke die gute Erde und der Dünger von Biobizz hat ein großen Teil beigetragen. Ich werde mal schauen wie die Pflanze in der 8 Woche aussieht. Ich nehme gerne Ratschläge von der Community an.

I am a bit late to updating, but I'm here! She has been growing beautifully! I've been trying to situate the light because I have been noticing some signs of light stress. I turned the light intensity down to 80% and it seems to be improving. I have noticed the leaf tips are turning a light green. I fed nutrients and 1/4 teaspoon of Recharge last night, and I used a 1/2 teaspoon the feeding prior to that. I'm guessing it may be from the additional feeding of Recharge, so I'm going to keep an eye on things. I did my first topping to the main stem and the side growth to see the outcome. XL is just about finished now cloudy with a few amber trichs and stems are struggling to hold their own weight up so I started the flush yesterday with aspirations to pull her in a few days . She’s just a beast this girl incredibly phat dense fruity buds with a real kick in the chest on exhale ( yes I’ve expressed dried a few nugs , I don’t care what anyone says I love smoking a bit of fresh weed ) , some of these buds are gonna be 3oz each dried it’s the epitome of an XL strain . Like I said a flush this week then she’s out . I couldn’t get her out for pics or to take pics of the orange coz the XL is just weighty and starting to bend under her own weight …best problems .

D57/FD29 - So, at the last few days of week 4, the SCP had a good push to itself...put on about 6-9" so had to do some bending/leaning of some pretty stiff stems. Unfortunately the only way for them to go was towards the tent walls so drops the light but they're getting WAYYYY over the DLI they should be getting without supplementation of CO2 but its not doing them too much harm. They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at (what would be recommended) strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geekbeast also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator and great to see them honouring the Warranty. Apart from that, wish the SCP would start to set flowers better, they're still looking a bit weak up top but stems appear to be stacking. Hopefully now that last push happened (and hopefully all pushed out!!!!), they will concentrate on buds only...this may be a 10+ week-er - which again, cant really afford as growing tent is drying tent!!! Its supposed to be a 75% indica so would expect bigger/quicker flowering but not showing too many symptoms of being mostly indica...maybe not quite a fully stable genetic line yet?? I dunno but its running slower like a sativa - even with the flower initiator and the late push would maybe imply that too??? Funnily, its tent mate, Red Hot Cookies is 60% sativa and has set flowers quite well so far - showing colour to the tips of the pistils...just wish it would start turning pink!!!
