This week I continued the same regiment as the last week only this week I upped their water intake slightly. I went from 250mL to 500mL at a time daily. Then I had to slightly defoliate due to the main stem fan leaves totally blocking all growth from the plant all the way around but once I defoliated the l main stems fan leaves the lower section of the plant was able to retrieve light and air circulation. You can tell that it was desperately needed and much needed! Now the plant will grow better! All and all this week went quickly and I'm happy with the results?

This week I transplanted them from the AC Infinity Seed Starter to their 5 gal grow bag or their final pot! I like to make my own super soil out of Root Organics Formula 707, Coco Coir, Perlite, Vermiculite, and amendments. Then I placed a hole in the middle of the 5 gal grow bag, for the plant being transplanted, and placed the young seedling into the hole. Then I lightly covered around the base of the young seedling. Then I watered with 250mL of pH balanced H20! From there that's it just checking on it daily and watering as needed daily with plain pH balanced H20. Then I amended the soil with 4-4-4, 4-6-3, Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. Then I gave nutrients every other day. First General Hydroponics MaxiGrow then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then amended the soil as noted above. Then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then I would feed The Stash Blend and then plain pH balanced H20. Then the General Hydroponics MaxiGrow and then plain pH balanced H20. Then Real Growers Soil Recharge and finally plain pH balanced H20 to finish the week off. I always pH at 6.0 for nutrient solutions and 6.8 for my plain pH balanced H20. My temps for solutions were 72° and ppm was 800-850 with EC 1600-1700. I always use my oxygenated H20 that is monitored by a professional meter and so are it's levels! I have oxygenated H2O with a pump ready to go at all times! This way I can just scoop up the water and go on demand without having to worry! All and all they're growing well and gaining a ton daily!!

This week they did more stretching as you can see the one on the left is into and above the light! I can't believe this but I'll role with it! I slowly defoliate just a little here and there between watering and filling the humidifiers. They really like to eat! Also, something to note that is they love the humidity as well as the warmth. I had to clean the outside of their grow bags this week. To my surprise the roots are starting to come out the bag! I can't believe it but this is awesome! Now they'll die due to contact with the air, and in return get bigger to take in even more nutrients! As predicted they fell off because their little pieces are on the floor. Well I fed and watered them daily. Like normal whenever I fed them either nutrients or soil amendments I made sure to water the plants with plain pH balanced H2O the next day in order to flush them. Then I would do any soil amendments if needed. After that plain pH balanced H20 and then you could do another fertilizer nutrient for them. After that pH balanced H20 and then you return to the soil amendments if needed. That way every other day you're feeding soil then pH balanced H20 then nutrients then pH balanced H20. This will allow you to monitor pH imbalances, nutrient burn, or any subtle changes you need to make you can catch it before it happens hopefully!

I didn't see the explosive growth I was hoping for this week so I'll leave them one more week before transplanting into 20 litre pots. Since I'm really cautious about over watering I only gave them 80 mls this week which is why I think they're wilting. I'd really like to know what an appropriate watering schedule is for plants this size - how much water should they be getting each week? If anyone is reading this and could give a range it would be appreciated.

For germination I took the seeds and did the paper towel method and then once they developed tap roots I placed them into Root Plugs. Then I placed them directly into the AC Infinity Seed Starter for best results until they reach Seedling phase.

Maybe I'll get my first 13-finger leaf. I've had 11 a few times, but I haven't seen a 13 yet. One day. Atlantis nutrient = Atlantis-Indoor-Ultimate-Minerals-Vitamins. Homebrew = Vitamins Vitamin A (retinol, retinoic acid): The body converts provitamin A carotenoids (orange/yellow pigments like chlorophyll), like beta-carotene, into vitamin A (retinol). B1 (thiamin): B2 (riboflavin): B3 (niacin): B5 (pantothenic acid): B6 (pyridoxine): B7 (biotin): B9 (folate): B12 (cobalamin): C (ascorbic acid) For the 6 hours of the night, there is full UVB 24/7 exposure for shits and giggles, although none of the 280nm reaching plant is Photosynthetically Active Radiation, I have been meaning to test this out for a while, UVA I tried last grow was still drifting Into PAR at 365nm on the tail end keeping light above levels of the moonlight. 0.1ppfd This time I try 280nm. *Not currently disrupting the plant's ability to detect the night cycle shift, with UVB left on at night, the plant is reacting to how I'd see it in complete darkness whereas the UVA last grow was clearly preventing plants from initiating the relaxed state I'd expect about 30 min before lights out, as if heliotropism was making them direct/dance towards each uva light individually making them look as if they were dancing in circles all night, figuring how close uva is to blue I'm not surprised. Cryptochromes are blue & ultraviolet-A photoreceptors. UVR8 is for UVB alone, UVR8 activates 10x more at 280nm than it does at 290nm. UV-B irradiation of baker’s yeast and mushrooms with high ergosterol content is used to enrich vitamin D2 content, making them alternative plant- and fungus-based vitamin D sources (2, 3, 5, 9, 37, 38). However, during UV-B irradiation and vitamin D2 synthesis, the photoproducts T2 and L2 are also generated (9, 27). The photoisomers tachysterol3 (T3) and lumisterol3 (L3) are also formed in human skin during the conversion of 7-dehydrocholesterol to vitamin D3, but their entry into the circulation is considered negligible (39). There are only a few studies addressing the absorption, metabolism or biological activity of photoisomers from food in mammals (6). In the scientific assessment conducted by the EFSA, tachysterol was not included in the product specification and safety due to the low concentrations of tachysterol in the consumable bread product which included UV-B-irradiated baker’s yeast (3). Notably, this study provides novel evidence that orally administered T2 can be absorbed and affect vitamin D metabolism in mice and potentially stimulates the synthesis of the phosphaturic hormone FGF23 in bone cells. Fibroblast growth factor 23 Protein-coding gene in the species Homo sapiens Fibroblast growth factor 23 is a protein and member of the fibroblast growth factor family which participates in the regulation of phosphate in plasma and vitamin D metabolism. In humans it is encoded by the FGF23 gene. FGF-23 decreases reabsorption of phosphate in the kidney. https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/nutrition/articles/10.3389/fnut.2022.948264/full Previtamin D2 then isomerizes into vitamin D2. Continued exposure to UV light can also produce lumisterol2 and tachysterol2. 20(OH)L3 is a metabolite of Lumisterol, a steroid compound in the vitamin D family. Lumisterol is produced in the skin when exposed to ultraviolet. Lumisterol2 (L2) is a photoproduct of UVB action on the fungal membrane sterol, ergosterol. Like vitamin D2, it is present in edible mushrooms, especially after UV irradiation. Lumisterol3 is similarly produced in human skin from 7-dehydrocholesterol by UVB and can be converted to hydroxy-metabolites by CYP27A1 and CYP11A1. These products are biologically active on human cells with actions that include photoprotection and inhibition of proliferation. Tachysterol 2 (T2) is a photoisomer of pre-vitamin D2 found in foods exposed to UV-B radiation. It's structurally similar to vitamin D and may affect vitamin D metabolism. Stomata Opening As VPD increases, stomata get smaller. CO2 uptake As VPD increases and stomata get smaller, CO2 uptake gets reduced. As VPD increases, the plant transpires (evaporates from leaves) faster due to the larger difference in vapor pressures between the leaf and the air. As VPD increases, and transpiration increases, the roots pull in more nutrients. The plant is like one connected system of plumbing. As VPD increases, there are more forces acting on the plant – from the leaves to the roots – and the plant experiences more stress. Transpiration is the process by which plants release water into the atmosphere through their leaves. It's a passive process that cools plants and is a major part of the water cycle. Plants absorb water and nutrients from the soil through their roots , the water is transported through the plant's tissues to the leaves water evaporates from the leaves through tiny pores called stomata. Transpiration removes heat from the air and cools the plant, transpiration returns water to the atmosphere, which is a major part of the water cycle. The water that enters the roots contains nutrients that are vital for plant growth. Factors that affect transpiration Temperature: Higher temperatures increase the rate of transpiration Light intensity: Higher light intensity increases the rate of transpiration Wind speed: Higher wind speeds increase the rate of transpiration Humidity: Higher humidity decreases the rate of transpiration Carbon dioxide levels: Higher carbon dioxide levels decrease the rate of transpiration Evapotranspiration: The sum of transpiration and evaporation Stomatal transpiration: One of the three main types of transpiration Guttation is a process that occurs when plants take in too much water from the soil and can't evaporate it through their stomata. This causes water pressure to force sap out of the leaf's edges or tip, making it look like the leaf is wearing a tiara. Perspiration is the process of releasing sweat from sweat glands in the skin. It's also known as sweating. Plants "sweat" through a process called transpiration. Transpiration is the process by which water evaporates from plant leaves, cooling the plant and the surrounding. Respiration is the process of metabolizing sugars to produce energy, while transpiration is the process of releasing water vapor. Both processes occur in plants and involve the exchange of gases with the environment. Plants use respiration to create energy for growth, reproduction, and other life processes. During respiration, plants use oxygen and stored sugars to produce carbon dioxide and water. Plants respire through all parts of their body, including their roots, stems, and leaves. Transpiration is the process of releasing water vapor through the stomata of leaves. Transpiration helps dissipate the heat produced by plants through metabolic processes like photosynthesis and respiration. Transpiration adds water to the atmosphere. Stomata are small openings in the leaves of plants that allow for gas exchange and transpiration. Guard cells control the opening and closing of stomata

Day 95 GDP harvested and starting dry process. Day 95 for the Tropicana cookies purple auto and northern thunderfuck auto. Both looking great. Tropicana really starting to reek the whole tent out sweet funky arouma. Looks light it’s starting to fade out nitrogen as well 🤞 Northern is stacking up buds hopefully will continue fattening for a couple more weeks. Soil all the flower tents look very alive and healthy. Lots of wigglers thriving under the mulch layer.

Watering Challenges: Due to high humidity, the soil took an entire week to dry out. Overwatering last week slowed water uptake but was mitigated by maintaining a higher nutrient level, preventing deficiencies. Nutrient Status: Signs of nutrient burn have not worsened. The plant is now showing early signs of hunger, with lighter zones forming on the leaves. Growth Observations: The plant responded well to topping, rapidly producing longer side branches. Growth remains vigorous, with a well-developed structure. Next Steps: Transplanting and watering are planned for early next week to support the plant's increasing nutrient demands. Summary: Week 4 revealed a learning curve in managing high humidity, but the plant's resilience and strong growth highlight its adaptability. Topping was highly effective, and the plant is thriving.

This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of us sites developing!

Progress Update: The Blue Dream plant continues to show excellent development and has handled the increased nutrient levels exceptionally well. It seems less sensitive to feeding adjustments than expected, a positive trait for consistent growth. Watering Schedule: Skipped watering this week due to high humidity levels, which kept the soil moist since the last watering at the end of the previous week. Plant Morphology: Stem Growth: Strong and stable, indicating excellent structural integrity for supporting future buds. Internodes: Relatively short, leading to a compact structure—a trait uncommon for Blue Dream and suggestive of a strong Indica influence in this phenotype. Foliage: The leaves exhibit classic Indica characteristics, with broad, dark green blades. Observations: The plant’s Indica-dominant appearance is surprising given Blue Dream’s typical Sativa-dominant profile. This could lead to unique results in both growth patterns and flowering characteristics. Next Steps: Maintain consistent environmental conditions and monitor for signs of water requirements next week. Continue full nutrient feeding while observing for any changes in plant response. Consider early training techniques if needed to balance compact growth. This plant’s performance remains impressive, and its unexpected traits make it a fascinating grow to observe. 🌿

1-19 Added 2 ml water to the top where planted, sprayed dome. End of the night see a buldge. 1-20 In the am, still no head, 2ml water, keep the top moist. but starting to show more. by afternoon, w have Runtz1. Shortly after we have Runtzs 2. She seems to have pulled a leaf off getting her head out. My other told me to scrap her, but I figured she will be fine. So for the tie break, I called apon @valiotoro . Told him he would be the tie breaker. SHES A KEEPER! 💪 I do not like to give up on any of my girls! 💪 Very excited to get this ball Finally Rolling! Preparing the Rocket ship, Lift Off Soon! The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

Our Ghost Train Haze automatic has started to flower, here the main lining didn't work well but it worked really well. It's a plant that responded very well to topping right away and you could see it growing at a fantastic rate. Here the topping was done at the third internode, mainfold and then we continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way here there is really a lot of stuff that seems to be going very well. . Anyway you leave more or less everything that manages to see a decent amount of light enough to flower well. The plant is an exemplary one with a wide internodal distance I managed to work it very well, the appearance is truly impressive and the structure is really very very beautiful. Here we are at the moment of truth, the flowers are starting to form, our Ghost Train Haze reveals its sex and of course like all Zamnesia plants I will be the father of two beautiful females. One is growing straight but I will show it to you later because I have been focusing a lot on this one in main - lining. It is a plant with a wide internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it lends itself very well to late last interventions. I managed to open it on the main line very well and the lateral branches are really, growing and stretching properly. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have lots of beauty and lots of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. The Power Buds must immediately stimulate the start and development of the buds. ---- Decide on the right soil and calculate your fertilizer schedule based on the soil on the official website. -- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. ---- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/12511-zamnesia-seeds-ghost-train-haze-auto.html Zamnesia Description // From the day its cotyledons emerge from the substrate, Ghost Train Haze Auto will surprise you with its rapid growth and robustness. When it starts to flower, this short sativa will develop long and compact buds with pungent scents of spice, citrus and fuel. All the best that mother nature can offer is on ---- www.zamnesia.com
