12/7 Week five and in full flower. Runoff was way high 1400-1700 ppm this accounts for the tiny white tips on new growth. Increased amount to 0.5 gal once a day but may have o go back to twice a day. Still on half/grow half/bloom until the stretch plays out still trying to hit 700ppm of feed without runoff exceeding upper limits so feed alone is running 600ppm to counter the hard water. Once I have a handle on the runoff will up nuets. After some thought and a bit of reading I decided to do this as a root drench and fertilized flush to remove all salts from the pot. 0.5 gal 5.7PH CT Grow AB / Kangaroots /Fish Sh!t with @50% runoff - 950ppm (unadjusted 750ppm adjusted) in / and 1020ppm out. So far this plant is looking good - it sprouted up nicely and now it’s starting to level off and put some growth into the first leaves! Just some info on the grow - I am growing in organic living soil. For the most part I use plain filtered water for my soil. There are somewhere between 300 -500 worms in the bed helping to keep things nice and happy! I also will plant a cover crop after I get my mainline built - I’ll let that cover crop get about six to eight inches tall and then I’ll smother that with straw which will give the worms and microbes in the soil a lot of yummy material to work with! The plants are lit up with a sweet COBB LED built by Timber Grow Lights - they’re the 3VL model which is 600 watts and dimmable from 10-100%. I currently have it set to about 20% and will ramp up later as I get towards flower. I’ll be keeping this updated - excited to log and share the process this time around!

Both girls stretched nicely despite selective defoliation on Mar 9. They bounced back almost immediately. Started adjusting mixtures towards removing fish mix completely and replacing with Bio grow. In coming week will adding bio bloom and top max to mixture. There was 2 waterings of 3ltr on Mar 9 + last foliar feeding and second on Mar 13 and it was first large feeding 6 ltr beetwen both. Surprisingly only a few drops of runoff. Watering in stages of approx. 500ml every 20-30min. Decided to not install a scrog this time as want to have opportunity to apply more old school methods of training and to be able to remove/rotate girls easily. Let's see if this will pay me off. Had to do some trimming on the one plant, however it is coming back strong. trying to get my watering schedule down. I guess I wont complain too much, they are still alive.

Week 5 Flipped to Flower. Finally recovered from Light burn and spider mites. Closed up all my light leaks and added a little CO2 to the room. Will be adding more CO2 soon. Added Trellis Turned lights up to 75%

Everything is looking good. Gave these girls a shot of recharge and fish shit. Prepping there new homes and getting ready to transplant.

I had a good week, defoliated any yellow leaves I saw, let the soil dry completely and then flushed her a little. This plant isn’t the most resilient plant I’ve worked with, having more trouble than I’d like.

Wasn't able to top until day 26. Took 3 clones (max in IL is 5 plants over 5 inches) while topping. Will probably start working on another 3x3 tent this week. Day 28 I super-cropped the new main branches and trained down.

I got some new lights this week, so am looking forward to seeing the difference led can do, getting awesome growth from the auto's, and the fem seeds are going well too. All is well in the garden this week other than the Lsd 25 auto seed, which is struggling still, wet feet may be, I will try to dry the pot, before more water is fed. Any ideas?

Mistakes were made

She's almost ready for harvest. Right now, she will be on plain water for six days. Next, I'll give her one final big flush, let the coco dry out, and then it’s chop time. This strain is looking very dense and is covered in a nice amount of trichomes. Most of them are cloudy now, with a few amber ones starting to appear.

Week 5 was a low stress week with great results. Managed to squeeze in a couple feedings and a couple training sessions. The sweet tooth is responding very well to training sessions, which is allowing me to manipulate the canopy with great ease. I use a small tent, so it's important to be diligent early, or it will just get out of control with leaves and wasted space. Day 31 - removed milkcrate, put pot on the floor and adjusted the light accordingly. Day 35 - fed 2 cups of nutrient solution. PH: 6.04. PPM: 423. T: 19.6°c Not a whole lot to report this week. She's looking great. The yellowing on the tips doesn't seem to be getting worse and now I'm just waiting to see how much she stretches. On to week 6. Thanks for stopping by! 🥦
