Starting the week off very healthy. Only change is the adjustment of light height and the removal of Mass Pro. I’m seeing very rapid growth both vertically and horizontally. Plants are showing signs of pre-FLOWER, light intensity was moved up to 80% with a max 700 PPFD. So far so good. All plants are happy and healthy…

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Dark green color trichomes are starting to form on her buds and leaves and she's starting to fill in you can see the white hairs and start off little buds on her. She is doing great outside!! THURSDAY 7/18: She really perked up in the sunshine with the boom boom spray and kelp dosing, so I put her outdoors again at first light today. I also re-planted her in the same cup, but I put about 2 centimeters of coarse perlite in the bottom along with another handful of soil. Her tiny lower branches are finally getting some light! I'll start training her a bit now, and I should be able to FIM her tomorrow or the next day. She's in direct scorching sunlight for 8 hours a day and about 8 inches below a 40w Sansi 4000k LED and a 75w LED panel (6500k/460nm 1:1 ratio) for 16 hours a day, I'll dial it back to 22-hour days at the first sign of flowering and swap out the blue/white panel for an all 660nm red panel(or two), and continue to gradually decrease her nighttime until harvest I've also got a little 20w spotlight with a Cree chip that's tuned to 3000k that I'll probably hammer her "massive" cola with as she starts to ripen up.😎 SUNDAY: She was looking a little bit haggard after yesterday...I think the sun is beating her up too badly. With such a tiny amount of soil, I think the roots are getting way too hot, even being in a cup within a cup wrapped with duct tape. Today, I'm leaving her indoors under the LEDs, but considering putting her cup inside another solo cup without any drainage holes, and setting that cup into pot of water with a fresh "blue ice" pack so as to keep the root temperature down...and replacing the blue ice pack every couple of hours while she's outdoors...or maybe I'll just take a pot and fill it with some of the orange-red clay that I find when I dig down a couple of feet..create a solo cup sized hole in it so that she has a surrounding layer of clay to keep her cooler during the day...not sure.. I foliar fed her and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each, except her...she got about 6 oz. of solution. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bio Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and thoroughly dowse them all tomorrow morning. MONDAY: Today, after I FIM'd her, I decided to move her outdoors into a semi-shaded spot, with the rest of the girls during the day. To deal with the heat on her roots, I decided to just bury the larger solo cup (no drainage holes or soil in it) up to the rim in a 3 gallon pot full of soil. This will allow me to easily bring her indoors every (or every other) night to soak up more light in my cabinet. The plant's roots will never have any access to the other soil, but I'm hoping that if I keep that outer soil wet it will hold the root temperatures down in the soil inside the cup. If it turns out that her roots are so strong that they "break through" the plastic to get to the outer soil, I'll either remove the plastic and drop out of the contest, or just bring her indoors permanently.😁 She got some freshly brewed compost tea this morning along with a foliar feeding...a major pain in the ass to lug a 5-gallon pail down to the site...maybe I'll invest in a small solar panel and 12 volt battery and inverter so I can do the brewing on site...

One of 4 strains grown together in 0.36m² using Migro Array 2 (125W). Variable dimming: W1 60%/24h, W2-10-11-12 60%/20h, W3-5-8-9-13 80%/20h, W6-7 100%/20h. Average real consumption: 95W with 173.6 kWh total. STRAIN: Divine Seeds genetics - underrated breeders producing excellent quality! NUTRIENTS: Full Biotabs bacterial line - positively surprised by the results! Organic living soil approach. GROWING APPROACH: Focused on DLI (calculated from Migro’s PAR map), VPD, water temperature, and water resting time. Did NOT monitor pH, EC, CO₂, or use PAR meter. MY BEST HARVEST SO FAR! 🏆 COLLECTIVE METRICS (4 plants total): • Total dry weight: 210g (+ 10g bubble hash) • Total wet weight: 890g • g/watt: 2.21 (or 2.31 with hash) • g/m²: 583 (or 611 with hash) • Average per plant: 52.5g Individual weights: Fractal 55g, Northern Lights 54g, Black Opium 67g (best performer!), Moon Rock 34g. Dense and resinous buds. Additionally grew 3 outdoor plants (Fractal #2: 21g + 60g frozen, Northern Lights #2: 14g + frozen, Black Opium #2: 50g fresh frozen) - not included. ~300g frozen trim (indoor+outdoor) yielded ~10g bubble hash. Quick foreword: I hate how Growdiaries does Harvest and Smoke separately and then messes up all the pictures. Please bear with me, I tried to label them all. Wowsers, what a trip this contest grow turned out to be! I am so sorry to submit it one day before the deadline, life got in the way, but the good news is this lovely plant has had a chance to fully cure and she’s been helping me through big changes in my life. Dry weights will be in the Smoke report. I have only input the mother’s dry weight as the total end dry weight. This is because this is a competition diary and the rule is one plant. Consider the clones a successful experiment. They are only here to document how hardy this plant is and how easy she is to clone. Remember, one of the clones was the top of the plant I cut off when topping her before flipping. I usually can never get those to root, but this plant clones very easily! As always, the main plant was dried in a cardboard wardrobe box, modified to have a 5v USB fan extracting air at the bottom. This helps prevent mold but keeps moisture in for a slower dry, which leaves some more terpenes. Drying took around two weeks. Trimming was a pain. I love the smell of this plant, but her lowers are so leafy. If you go back to around the weeks where I flipped, you can clearly see I left too many lower nodes and as a result I had too much of a bush. The Micro DWC experiment ended up surprising me the most. Check out the smoke review for its weight and taste! some people also asked me how far I keep my lights, I don't measure the distance, sorry. I use Photone on iOS and push the ppfd of my plants up to 1000 during flower. The Soil clones and the main competition plant were planted in organic soil from a local garden center mixed with organic fertalizer tablets and worm castings, the clones were in 1L and 3 gallon pots and the main competition plant was planted in a 5 gallon growbag. once the plants ran out of food I fed Plagron's Alga line. the DWC clone used just Plagron Hydro A+B and extra PK 13/14 in flower, this is by far the cheapest and most effective way in my experience, it could be due to lack of skill in organics, but you can clearly see, my DWC plant is frostier than my soil ones, and they're the exact same phenotype. I'll probably be going back to hydroponics, I'm not saying organic isn't the way to go, but for me personally, my skillset and way of growing better fits the artificial nutrients, and as a result my DWC plants flourish. I feel more in control with DWC, I know exactly what's going on in my buckets, whereas with organics I'm often scratching my head in frustration.

May, 15th 2021 Some of the Hyper Glue Plants, wich were in the smaller continers, were transplanted into 3l They needed it, because some were yellowing, Roots were well developed, now they can go on for a few more Weeks . Keep Watering them with Beneficals, and Spraying one Time daily with "Fast Plants Spray" Thosse foliar Feeding drives them very well

The two big dawgs started to really pack it on this week. Number one is holding strong a week ahead of two. Has a bit of a learning curve with the new hydro setup and HLG leds. I learned that the intensity causes the flowers to use more cal-mag than standard hps/halide according to some reading. It also could be they are just using more than the recommended dosage and a had a bit of a phosphorus deficiency. Either way I upped my Cali magic and the young leaves look great as do the flowers. #1 is starting to get some pinks and purples and #2 is still cranking out white pistils.

Englisch Week 3 is coming to an end and the ladies are growing magnificently. The only real outlier is Gelato #4, I don't know whether it was too stressed because of the repotting or why it isn't growing as fast as the others. When fertilizing, I continue to follow the feeding chart and Athena's hand watering strategy. The plants are accepting the very high dose of fertilizer wonderfully, which is somewhat to my astonishment, as I am not used to running these high EC levels from the start. Now that my Par Meter has finally arrived, I can keep a better eye on the light levels, which are currently at 500u/mol. Deutsch Woche 3 neigt sich dem Ende zu und die Ladies wachsen prächtig. Den einzigen richtigen Ausreißer macht die Gelato #4, ich weiß nicht ob sie wegen des Umtopfens zu viel Stress hatte, oder woran es liegt, dass sie nicht so schnell wie die anderen 4 wächst. Beim Düngen halte ich mich weiterhin an das feeding chart und die hand watering strategy von Athena. Die Pflanzen nehmen die doch sehr hohe Dosis Dünger wunderbar an, was etwas zu meinem Erstaunen ist, da ich es nicht gewohnt bin diese hohen EC Werte von Anfang an zu fahren. Da nun endlich mein Par Meter angekommen ist, habe ich die Lichtwerte auch etwas besser im Blick, womit wir aktuell bei 500u/mol liege.

Ok had a long week various problems with humidty and temp issues led me to upgrade tent from 1.2 x 1.2 to a new 2.4 x 1.2 x 2.0 also changed the flower lights to the x 2 viparspectar 450 reflectors along with the new white lighting 315 watt cdm all in one light with there 4k flower pro bulb the plants are loving the new space and abundance of lights any tips comments etc feel free to msg
