Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. Good week overall, started with a defoliation and lst for Sugar Mama, she was too unruly and here we are by the end of the week she is full of leaves again. I am going to let her grow as is and save her from more defolation she is not getting taller, yet. All the other girls are doing well, nothing much to report apart from that I found out what is going on with those nutrients and the general unhealth of plants (spots on some, really bright on others, clawed tip, ...) but none seemed too serious. I discovered that because I am towards the end of my nutrients that they were too think and were not actually mixing well into the water explaining why the EC wasn't getting as high as I expected when adding biogrow. Made sure the nutrients are properly mixed (put them in then blast with water to mix well) and water them today with a good mixed meal, expecting them to have better colours soon. The fastberry is looking prettier every day, the deformity that was at the beginning is barely visible now. Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

This is my fav strain for now. I love the taste more than anything. Take a vape hit and exhale through the nose. Oh god, this is good. Despite the low light intensity, The BUDS ARE TIGHTER THAN THE FIST OF A FIGHTER.

Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.

Well, that didn’t go as planned 😅 — snapped a branch while doing LST, so I guess it turned into an unplanned supercrop session. At least I’m learning something new from my mistakes. Other than that, this strain’s super bushy — gonna need to step up my LST game next time.

Bonjour à tous, Après avoir pris une petite semaine de vacances , ces demoiselles n'ont eu qu'un seul arrosage avant mon départ... Stupéfait que celle ci soir encore en "pleine forme" malgré les chaleurs qu'il a fait et le manque de nutriment !! Elles ont encore grandit.. !! J'ai donc du re faire une sorte de palissage , (Photo before / Photo After). Pour leurs redonner du Peps' comme ont dit chez nous, je leurs es tapisser au pied , une bonne couche de fumier de vache très riche en nutriment et surtout en Azote avec un gros arrosage pour que tous les nutriments puisse bien parvenir dans les racines 👍👍👍 La près floraison est toujours semie présente mais aucune fleurs n'apparaît... Sur aucun pieds... Si vous avez des remarques , je suis preneur !! Affaire à suivre !!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Getting there! Continuing to feed her Pride Lands Flower and GreenGro flower finisher. Add seaweed, humic acid and silica to the water. I’m thinking one more feeding and then just water and blackstrap molasses. I sure am going to miss this girl

Pollination is well underway. The ladies are prego and the seeds are developing very rapidly! A few of the first flowers to get hit have there flower bracts already torn open. Exposing the growing seeds(still very green and immature). They are coating there flowers with protective trichomes like crazy! Sucess. All three ladies I have in there are heavily seeded! Now I'm watching them work their magic. Producing me some new killer crosses to phenohunt. The male flowers have been dried and stored. I'm slowly sifting the pollen into a vile. Jeden Tag bis Dienstag werden noch da und da ein paar Blätter entfernt aber ohne Sie zu stressen max 2 pro Pflanze am Tag. Es sind auch nur die Blätter die Bud's verdecken Heute gab es wieder lecker Futter 😋 Hesi Blüh Complex 5ml auf 1L Wasser , Hesi Booster 2ml auf 1L Wasser ,Hesi Phosphor + 0,4ml auf 1L Wasser und Hesi SuperVit. Alles zusammen ergab ein Super Nährstoff Trunk der Sie jetzt erst mal für 4 Tage versorgt . Skunk #1 riecht sehr stark aber das war klar und immer sehr sehr fein. Der Typische Skunk Geruch wird von einer schönen Zitronen 🍋 note abgerundet. Tangerine Sugar riecht sehr süß und fruchtig. Tricome bilden alle beide sehr gut, der Nodien Abstand der Skunk #1 ist definitiv kleiner somit gehe ich stark davon aus das sich fast ein dicker kolben zeigen wird und das an allen Haupt und Seitentriebe. Tangerine Sugar wird auch schöne Bud's zum Vorschein bringen aber halt keine durch gehende kolben 🙂 Ihre Triebe sind definitiv nicht so kräftig gewachsen wie die von der großen Schwester aber verstecken brauch Sie sich auch nicht.
