This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. 21 september She is really close. Weather forecast is pretty good the last part of this week. She has 3 or 4 more sunny days to go. After that she will be harvested in steps. Big first, bottom second. Probably couple of days in between. Same process for all my plants. MAROC was also harvested like this during the past week. It was a tense few weeks with all the rain we had. I had to cut out some buds to keep mould from taking over but i managed to keep the damage under control. Biggest surprise was that fungi now grow underneath the plant as well, not just in the buds😅 Lovely sight to see!!

there is a significant increase in growth after bending the upper cola, as compared with the sativa, the WB grows and blooms much faster, very grateful to your advice, everything is clearly illuminated, on the next allotment I think to add some ice and shed everything with cold water, the flavor is very strong, for three days I made leaf clippings on the lower part of the plant, fertilized 2-3 times a week, I try to add less than the specified norm, I don’t feel like leaves, I feel as you can see it’s not very bad, I feel this variety will be closer to the harvest than the neighboring sativa, it pleases, and I feel the harvest will not be bad) Well, we are waiting for 7 weeks, wish me luck)

Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Ya he cultivado esta variedad anteriormente y siempre me ha gustado su sabor especiado. La planta creció sin ningún problema pero con carencia de nitrógeno desde mitad de la fase de crecimiento. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable, creo que con unos ajustes en la mezcla del sustrato hubiese obtenido mejores resultados aunque el hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta se desarrolló en una maceta de 50L y ha producido 230g de cogollos secos, esponjosos y con una relación flores/hojas no muy buena. El olor de las flores húmedas era intenso con toques especiados. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, ni botrytis El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. Buena cosecha, nos costo un poco mantener la alimentación ya que con 1.6 Ec pedían más , les subimos algo en las últimas semanas y dio resultado. El panel.es muy potente les mete mucha carga lumínica. Estas GELATO-K han ofrecido varios fenotipo con sabores muy dispares.. aún así todos bastante buenos. Ha sido un buen aprendizaje. Plants kept growing and didn't die lol were not healthy the whole way through but im yet to have a always healthy 100% no leaves dying off plant. She smokes and smells sooooo good though the bag appeal is there for sure

When I flipped the plants into flower I amended the nutrients to along with it so they could start off strong and they have been since that day (April 11th, 2025) since then have top dressed the soil on (May 1st, 2025) with some bloom 284, worm castings and mineralized phosphate. So far the plants seem happy and thriving, if you have any questions or comments please let me know!

The cones have learned to be quite dense. The aroma can be considered strong. I liked how they grow.

Week 7 it’s looking nice. Already flush let’s wait one more week or 2 and chop chop…

Buds r slowly rippening mostly cloudy trichomes no amber yet checking daily split stems for final stress decrease in light hours extended dark for aiding ripening

Hey now! This week went pretty well, I did notice my EC of my runoff was getting pretty high on day 65, it got up to about 1.9, and my nutrient solution going in was at 1.6. I ended up mixing a bucket of my normal fertilizer, and hand watering all the places my drip ring wasn't really hitting, and i got the EC back down to about 1.7. I also got a tip from MrJones to setup some type of support for the colas. I ended up tying some 550 (parachute) cord across the top of my tent poles, then I ties little loops around the colas with the same soft cord. I then used wire ties to attach the loops to the 550 cord. I also am slowly reducing my EC, as I believe I only have a couple weeks left. I am also going to be switching from Liquid KoolBloom to Dry KoolBloom at some point later in week 10. If anyone has any experience on the correct timing of this switch to ripening formula, please hit me up! I am still struggling a bit with heat and humidity, and am considering buying another dehumidifier for my next grow. As always, Thank you to everyone for all of your encouragement, support and tips!! Flushing but almost done and showing her purple colours😍

The looks on this one are sexy! It also burns even. Effects wise, first 15 mins you perceive a high cerebral rush that peaks at 30 mins. Makes you feel creative and with energy. Later on, the cerebral effect dissipates and leaves you feeling all giggly and relaxed in da body. The smell is all about sweetness and gas with a funky grapey smell hugging and keeping those close. Colors didn't showed much cause of the 24/0 light cycle but it ended up showing some purple hues during late bloom. Overall this girl was so fn grateful with the treatment she received.

This one was less affected by the mistake with measuring the IPM product. Oh well lesson learned. I'm liking the vigor on this girl she is growing huge fan leaves. This cultivar is just so easy to bend and FIM it just takes it in stride. I can wait to do some more work with her in the coming weeks, after the pot patch girls are out of the way for the season.
