My humidity is so high this week. Put the dehumidifier in the tent since temps are dropping, but I can’t seem to get it down below 70%. Ordered some DampRid but they sent the Fresh Scent one 🤦‍♀️🏻 Other than that, flowers are looking good so far. Trying to defoliate but it’s hard to reach the back of the plants since my tent is against a wall. With the AC Infinity bases, I’ve been using water in the reservoir and hand-watering the nutrient mixture. I’m worried I’ll overwater and it may be contributing to my high RH. Going to try putting the liquid nutes right in the reservoir, and doing Big Bloom 1x/week with a top feed.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. Had a pretty serious gnat infestation this week. I noticed some movement in the runoff water after feeding. After taking video I made a 2:1 water to peroxide mixture to spray down the bucket and into the overflow trays of both plants in the tent. I also added a gnat traps and a low tent to help dry the soil and prevent gnats from hanging out there.

DAMN SHAWTY THE EXPERIMENT IS GOING GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE PALE AUTOFLOWERING ONE AS I THINK IS A BIT WEAKLING AT THIS POINT OF DATE DAY 24 of flower, that's why i try to match the flower inducing with the start of the month, thats my preach as it will ease you some dark souls shit tike counting flowering days, because that also make me conclude that the plants are at least on a patched health, above average plants, because a good vegging time and a speeded inert coco start made my day as it's very demanding in food and showing carencies with the tremendous sugar boosts from previous week , cheers. Regarding to plants, im sticking to this will be my last day to doze both barrier and cal mag through foliar spray as floral mass could mold if not doing with caution or can ever fuck up things here too. Noticed that spraying water affected the side project of vertical lighting as more mid low branchs if are too humid from previous day spray can prone light burns. So,that made me tidy a bit the space, through defoliation, and entry level lollypoping / defoliati9n in this wild jungle as it involucration in this project is still can be a positive outcome as i didn't see burnt bud and these leds arent that heated , IF they arent see a good outcome as vertical complementary light , at least it is nice to see they totally CAN WORK IN VEGETATION. And yup, im sticking on paperclips as a total valid form of control to have decent plants as they can aid to aim the perfect position / angle that might help to develop better regardless of what type of light do you use, i luv it, better results than the improvized net , that's useful now but at the time of ripe it will be quite a nuissance the unmounting of that bondage shit, so that ... the expense here is not money is the time to find & try the shit that works on you. Week 4 these babies went straight into 12/12 lighting, then a longer veg period hence the smaller size as im running an experiment on different lighting techniques with 12/12 start to now 16/8 veg/flower back then ill go down to 12/12 flower/flush just to see how the plants react and grow in size with a much smaller growing time frame of 8-10 weeks start to finish autoz

So I had to cut all leaves, and also some of the smaller leaves due to mold. It was only a little bit mold but I cut away every part that seemed to white for me in the end. It probably would habe worked out growing her 2-3 weeks longer but I decided to chop/save her.

Things progressing, does defoliation really improve yield? I’m hearing conflicting arguments

Weather was better than before. A couple of sunny and warmer days. Installed the lights with the timer in order to support a 16/8 light cycle with a 1 minute burst of light every two hours at night. Mid week i transplanted them, super happy about that. Cover crop looks great. The placeholder pots have been filled with horsetail, alfalfa, bokashi and worms. Cleared them out to use it as mulch on top. Watered them in with fresh brewed vermicompost tea. The Jamaican Dream CBD will later move into the garden, so the roots can connect with the soil through the bottom of the bag. Plants looking great by the end of week, but still in flower.... started a new run for back up and a friend of mine would give me some very nice seedlings and clones if things go wrong.

Was in a rush to finish these due to unforeseen circumstances, so I started the Overdrive feeding early in hopes to compensate for this.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Day 79 11/28/2021- Welcome to week four of flower. Today fed nutrients and did a defoliation to take off the smaller buds that won’t get enough light. Day 81 11/30/2021- Just water her today. Great first week: 4x4 grow tent with 350 watt dimmable Viparspectra LED. -Germinated all 4 in paper towel between plates. -Planted in Solo cups -Solo cup needed extra soil mid week. -Going strictly off nutrients in soil and things are going great. -Started light on lowest setting for 3 days and have it at full strength by the end of the week

Got these girls transplanted this weekend. They are already thanking me. Also, they're loving the LED lighting.

Flush is going amazingly I’ve now switched to the lights off for 24hours and will chop tomorrow so next update is hopefully on time and will be a harvest one! Been loving growing all these strains can’t wait to add the final report!

Topped the plants this week. I didn't top the first plant because well it topped itself already. It even seems like it's doing it again. When you look at the top foto the left shoot seems to be splitting again. Very curious to how it will develop, but i'm a little worried because the main stem looks a little bit thin. The fifth plant has some yellow discoloration which i dont's see on the other plants.
