Day 99 - Change up for ripening. Have Moved to the Sunmaster 10K finisher to see about frosting up dem der buds. Have also moved to using Dragon Force now to get the final push on them prior to flushing them back for the harvest. Getting plenty of Brown pistils (Much easier to see under the 10K) but from last nights look, trichs were still pretty clear. Have ordered a wee USB microscope of the Big Bad Amazon to give them a better look (expecting it Wednesday) as the wee handheld loope I have is pretty pish!!! The Purple color is just amazing... The Citrus smell is mind blowing... She is comming to an end very soon... last week of feeding and then she goes into the flush... Fingers crossed untill the end🙏

hi all. Here we are finally here with some of the ladies out and hanging to dry. It had been a fun week with trimming and hanging the Girl Scout cookie ladies. They finished so perfectly with a beautiful colour and terpenes oozing off them. Everytime I go up to the room , their sweet smell hits me before I get to see the other ladies. With about 6 days for #2 and 4 for #1 , I expect a few more days before they are even close to jar ready for a cure. Thankfully as they are organic and not needing to deal with leftover sodium based nutes, the terpenes should remain fairly intact with the very low 8°c and plenty of airflow keeping them rotating slowly. Rh is around 50% but not a mould risk thanks to the draughty eaves. The remaining Amnesia Haze ladies are like wound springs now. They are still 2 weeks from their supposed harvest time but look ready now. If I didn't know that there is a second flush about to pop them wide open and swell them even more , it would be easy to pull them before their true ending . Still very smokable at this stage now but i am confident that they will have a second flush of fresh pistils any day now. There are signs of it starting on a couple of the mains so i will be using the Dragon force to support this for about 7 days , which is designed to boost them at their finishing stages. I rate this product and use it every grow. Well worth a look. The natural fading and the temperature drops at lights off are creating some amazing colours throughout the canopy now too. Thankfully experience allows me to enjoy this kaleidoscope of autumnal colours and not panic that I have a major deficiency going down. There are some nicely cannabalising leaves in the canopy too which is also a good sign that they are performing just as nature intended and gorging on the stored goodness from the big fans left on. They are a multi purpose leaf for the whole process from veg to finish , they change their role as the grow progresses and as soon as she notices that they are taking more to keep alive and become a sink instead of a gain , she will cannabalising the stores built up and shed the leaf herself. This is why I get stuck with the whole defoliation debate. - Week 11 - ----- Day 71 ------ The end is in sight. The trichomes are slowly turning amber/purple inside. and a lot are cloudy. No more fertilizer until harvest day where I will use floranova grow to induce leaf growth when i switch them back to 18/6 with Metal Halide at 600 watts. I'm going to guess day 75-77 harvest. ----- Day 73 ----- Back Wedding Cake was ready for chopping. You can see from the 60x micro more mature amber and drying mature trichomes than cloudy/clear. Front is not, Going to chop day 77. More cloudy/clear and round trichome heads then mature and shrunk. This is a huge yield. not going to guess but Harvest number should be by far the largest I've ever grown. ----- Day 74 ----- Today Im gonna sample the Wedding Cake harvested yesterday. I hope it knocks me the hell out to my couch with a bat to the face of intensity. Time will tell. Probably no update on the high till tomorrow lol. ----- Day 75 ----- Okay, last plant will be done Saturday. Trichomes are mostly ready, 48 hours she's cut worthy. I wont be updating tomorrow, there's no point. Saturday should also have some more of the Day 73 Wedding Cake (from here on known as D73 WC) dried for a better smoke report (yesterday I just passed out) but I don't expect them to be dry for at least a total of 7-10 days and it's day 3 today. (they're fuckin fat and DENSE so it'll be a longer process to remove the interior moisture) Last water feeding for them tomorrow. Next time they're ready for water I'll be feeding FloraNova GROW to assist in the transition back to 18/6 Vegetative 600 watt metal halide that will start the day after harvest (Going to give a full 24 hours after harvesting before changing light cycle. I've learned to NEVER double up stress on plants. It's like breaking the law, you never break another law while doing the first one, it exponentially worsens everything.) After harvest expect a Veg week by week addition to this grow, and then once my lab results come in from Tropicanna I'll set up a distinct diary for it. Then once the Wedding cake is done and results from lab are in i'll do the same. *** Update *** I put the time on for lights at 13 hours today instead of 12. That will continue for 7 days. It'll then go to 14 hours lights on for 7 full days with HID light before switching finally to MH @ 600 watt 18 hours. This is a technique I hypothesis will help ease the transition period back to veg. ----- Day 76 ----- Here's a nug shot. Lied about not updating today. Harvest tomorrow. ----- Day 77 ------ Harvested today. Here's some pics. Fed FloraNova Grow - 800ppm 6.4ph 8 liters to start the reveg journey. Tomorrow i'll be adding a new week - Veg - as lights will be going to 14 hours during that week which I will use as a transition for 7 days before jumping to 18/6 until re-flower in probably October. Harvest info will be 7-10 days from now unfortunately folks. Shits thick and therefore lots of spaces for water to be hiding and needing to be dried before curing. Smoke is real nice. super clarity followed by ocean waves of distraction and spacing out.

Starting 3rd week , we should know soon if im lucky and my strong looking plants are females! Fingers crosed! 2 out of 4 are looking good one is a slow grower and the other one is all mesed up , i guess the rooting process did not go well for this one ☝️

Coming in a day early this week because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Plants are growing nicely, pistils and colors and frost, all good stuff happening. None of the colas are fat and solid like a pinecone yet, but we're on track for a nice harvest. I'm thinking 4 more weeks.
