Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

Hello Everyone! This is my first grow (since a failed week-long attempt in 2011), and my first Legal Grow in Canada! :D - For this grow i have chosen Gorilla Zkittlez from Barney's Farm. Since we are allowed 4 Plants, and i had a pack of 5 Seeds, i decided to germinated all 5 Seeds to play it safe in case one didn't sprout, but alas, all 5 popped and are doing well! One plant is definitely the "runt of the litter" and will be given to a friend who is also starting his first grow (sticking with 4 in order to play within Canadian Law... yes i know, i think i should just grow all 5 too...) My Garden Set-up: Tent: 4x4x6.5ft from Growneer Lighting: Four (240W) Viparspectra Reflector Series 600 LED (960W Total) Ventilation: One 6' Inline Fan with 6'x 500mm Carbon Filter Pots: Four 5 Gallon Fabric Containers Growing Medium: B'cuzz Hydromix HP Nutrients: Green Planet 4-Part Hydro Fuel Kit + Terpinator Week 1 Notes: Just running a single light for now, (3 More on their way) Running into a little bit of low temps/low humidity issues; slowed exhaust fan a bit, added a tray of water infront of intake fan, misting every 6 hours, temps should increase when i introduce the other lights. might purchase a small humidifer. I apologize for the inconsistent photo quality, finding the right exposure/white-balance with these LED's is tricky, may get a filter for my camera or a different light for photos in the future.

This week starts off with 11 hours and 55 minutes of sunlight and ends with 11 hours and 40 minutes of daylight hours. It is also dipping down to 7 degrees Celsius at nights. Rain is also expected next week. I caused the stalk to re-veg in a place it was covered with the black plastic sheet. The plastic was causing such a humid situation it infected the previous cut stems sites, it was doing damage to the stalk for being put on too early. Other symptoms included drying of the stem where the starting from where the plastic sheet covered the infection site, I looked under the sheet after this and found the infection site, The infection had initiated at a stress point in the branch. The humidity caused by the plastic sheet, caused the stem to tear at two points. Another symptom was the leaves changing colors and crunching up. Under the plastic sheet was a completely lighter color of stem. This explains why I was able to LST the main cola, it also explains the nutrient burn, as the plant is craving vegetative nutrients. I will most likely get some hermaphrodite genes in the already pollenated seed sacks due to this stalk re-veg. To fix this, I removed the sheet and the new vegetative growth. I applied 0.5% hydrogen peroxide to the infected areas.(WARNING: This bud will be toxically non smokable or consumable) I fed the plant 3 tablespoons of Epsom salt, and covered it with 40 liters of pro-mix soil for when the rain comes. I also added the open sided greenhouse for the rain covering, as this plant is fighting a waterborne infection. I low stress trained the main cola, in order to create airflow, and secondary colas. If I did not LST the colas the stem rot would have reached them and turned into bud rot. The airflow created by cola LST and the hydrogen peroxide causes the infected areas to only slightly increase, infection spreading noticeable after a week. The re-veg will also benefit with the infection recovery, even though It kind of is a result of a cause. I also started feeding the plant 900ml of water in the heatwave so the water uptake content would not cause the fungus to thrive. I also raised the branch up with a support so the infection would have a hard time moving with the nutrients and water. It doesn't appear to be spreading, and has been treated two times within the past three days. I plan to treat it a few more times before the rain. I also used concrete slabs at the base to ensure the root base was warm at night . I think she will pull through this fungus infection with the photoperiodic stress shock created by the humidity of wrapping of the stem. Cannabis is supposed to die at 12 degrees Celsius. I am hoping the outcome of the greenhouse test will also determine the daylight hours the cannabis will die at. I mean I am expecting it to die when daylight hours reach 9. Will be adding photos to harvest.

July 3: Great week for new growth and plants are starting to send out first flowers. Big stretch on height. About another inch of rain (2.5 cm) this week and soil has plenty of moisture. Today saw some amazing clear sky and strong sun. Expecting the flowers to start stacking. Still need to mulch around the plants. First resin is skunky with a bit of burned rubber (?) - unusual yet appealing. Great structure and impressive vigor.

She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next 12 days +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so frosty and into her fade now that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Almost harvest time.. She's filled out some more this past week. Most fan leafs have fell off the plant so it wont be much longer for sure.. most sugar leafs are full amber now just waiting for the buds..

Erde ist eine sehr luftige aus einem Garten Fachgeschäft, welche sehr leicht vorgedüngt ist, mit einem NPK Dünger. Möchte versuchen alles aus dieser Sorte heraus zu holen. Beigesetzt habe ich 1 Sack mit 10 Litern Plagron Perlit, welches vor der Zugabe gründlich abgewaschen wurde. Eine ganze Packung Royal Queen Seeds Easy Boost habe ich von Anfang an der Erde beigemischt. Dann wurde der gesamte Airpot mit seinen 38 Litern Volumen, einmal mit Wasser gefüllt, damit der Organische Dünger aufquellt. Dieser wurde dann mehrmals von mir durchgemengt, damit die aufgequellten Organischen Düngerteile sich möglichst gleichmäßig in der Erde verteilen. Nachdem die Erde nach über 1 Woche durchgetrocknet war, wurde diese erneut aufgelockert. Dann kam der Samen Zamnesia Banana hinein, welchen ich 4 Tage vorgezogen habe. Der Samen ist sehr, sehr Gut, da er von vorne herein eine sehr starke, praktisch absolut gerade Wurzel nach Unten gebildet hat. Das weiß ich, da ich den Samen in einem gereinigten, durchsichtigen Plastikbehälter vorgezogen habe, in dem vorher geiles Minzeis aus dem Aldi drin war. Start war der 07.11.2020. Habe Gestern das erste mal einen Hauch von dem Plagron Flüssigdünger auf 1 Liter Wasser gemischt, ca. 0,5 ml. Die kleine mochte die Dosis sehr. Mit PH Down habe ich den Wert von der Mischung auf den PH Wert 6.6 eingestellt. Lampe ist ein SMD Chip mit 65W, genauer der Cree CXB 3590. 1 Der Photonenstrom liegt bei 137,5 µmol/s, was ich für einen Einzelnen Chip in dieser Größe für sehr ordentlich halte. Auf den Wert komme ich, aufgrund der Angabe einer 4 er Lampe, die 4 solcher Chips enthielt. Diesen Wert habe ich dann durch 4 geteilt. Growbox ist ein Eigenbau aus OSB Platten mit 12 mm Stärke, welche 4 140 mm Lüfter mit Vorwiderstand, welche durch ein Universales 12V Netzteil versorgt werden, verwendet. Reflektoren sind eine Rettungsdecke und Alufolie. Ich bin gespannt wie der Grow wird, denke ich werde mehrere Triebe durch Topping und später durch Entlaubung.

She has the same extreme big leaves like the last phenotype of hers :-) I love it ;-). She will now stay in the vegi for a few more days before she comes to the flower tent :-). During the last watering, I started with Fast Plant. I am happy to finally be able to put it in bloom again. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (sewing materials, see table above). The tent was cleaned and all plants checked for health 👍. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters for the next 2 weeks. Otherwise they were admired several times a day 😂. Set 1&2 are out the green house in an outdoor setting but still under light....did some transplanting gonna do the rest in the upcoming week hopefully n maybe take some cuts other than that everything else running smooth Harvest the mother tree at the beginning of the week with would be about 6 weeks....took a few samples n she's hitting to say only dry a few days scent, flavor and effect are on point....still curing her out
