Hey growmies, this was unexpected but the plants were ready for harvest after just 8 weeks. I bought a new tricome microscope and checked the trichomes on the three Mimosa ladies. To my surprise all three plants had milky trichomes and even amber ones already. There were still many white pistils on the buds but looks can be deceiving 😁 With milky and amber trichomes the plants have reached their full potential so it’s time to harvest them. The late bloomer and the fast grower had the most buds, but the hash plant had the most trichomes by far. It took me 3,5 hours to wet trim the buds and after trimming I had enough scissor hash to load my Pax vape and try it out. The taste was unmistakably orange/tangie and really sweet. The effect was a strong head high, almost trippy and slowly fading into a super relaxing body stone. This will be my new favorite strain for sure ✌️ Smoke report The Mimosa Orange Punch has a very nice taste. It's mostly tangie/orange with a citrus taste that lingers in your mouth minutes after taking a hit. The effect is also great. At first the effect seems a very mellow and pleasant head high, after 30 minutes it changes to a more relaxing/sedative state where I almost fell asleep on the couch. After this it changes back to the very uplifting and clear head high. I made some rosin from the keef in the trimbin and it had a stronger body effect compared to the flower. But also excellent taste! This is an excellent smoke for both day and nightime. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty smoke while getting things done.

Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

The ladies have adapted very well, are growing excellently, I am satisfied. Although it got quite cold again at night and it rained a lot, the fractals are doing very well. They have had another good growth spurt and have no pests.

Flowering day 9 since the time change to 12/12 h. Hi everything 😀. Another great week has passed and the cuttings have now all taken root and are developing beautifully 😍👌. 05/07/2020 definitely another week, #9 flower I think she be done end of week 9. The trichomes are mostly clear, some milky no amber, but I only want 5-10% amber at most anyway as I want daytime meds. Leaves are fading fast will get some better pics soon, one more watering of 2, liters plain water and we are done see you in 7days for the (harvest?)hope and pray! Ps. I do this because breeder says 9-12 weeks but breeder didn't specify 9-12 TOTAL / Or weeks or flowering weeks so I harvested 47 grams wet, at 13 weeks TOTAL, the rest will Be at my peak harvest date which is approximately week 9-10 of flowering. So it's within reason I would say.👍 Pss. The 47 grams wet weight is now at 13.9 grams, (dry weight) after 10 days drying and into the glass jar for burping and curing process . Four days into week (9 of flowering) i brought out my 420 scope still lots of clear trichomes, maybe a 10-11week flowering? Probably my lights need upgrade. See you in 4 days

Hey think today is the 37th day the weather is still bad, way too much rain hardly any sun. Today is really the exception and next week it should continue with the rainy weather.... Lamp is gone for 5 days, is too stressful for me. is also only diy waterproof so rather not suitable for outside... it stands again and also slowly gets color...in any case, it smells everything by far..rarely such a strong and verry good smell! Plant are looking healthy. The WW that I had to transplant from hydro to coco is fully recovered and roots are already coming out the bottom of the airpot. All three clones are growing healthy and keeping up with the top of the canopy. Ran a mini flush at the end of the week to start the new week out with fresh nutrients.

Everything I do has a purpose. I try not to be malace and always come with a open heart and mind. This was an incredibly fun grow went by very fast. I keep saying I’m just gonna let this one grow out just to see what happens but it’s getting so bushy. I’m really really tempted to defoliate. I’ll look more into it this week and if I decide, I’ll update the girl journal for the most part. I am definitely probably gonna do foliate at this point. I did also add bud candy to my nutrient list.
